When Barbra Jean takes up selling insurance, she wants Reba to be her first client. After Reba's physical shows that she has high blood pressure, she finds out she's at risk to lose her old insurance policy. Meanwhile, Van seeks out Brock's advice in coming up with a unique anniversary present for Cheyenne.

Brock is becoming lonely in the condo all by himself so he begins to hang around Reba's house more often sometimes with Reba not even knowing. Cheyenne is also becoming lonely with Van being gone almost a week up in Denver. Reba and Brock try to tell her that Van is probably just as upset in Denver without her there only to find out when Van comes home that he is having a blast and has made tons of friends. Brock and BJ begin going to therapy with Dr. Baker where they realize that Reba is one of the main problems in their relationship. Dr. Baker asks to speak with Reba where he confronts Reba and Brock and asks if they still have feelings for each other. They both contemplate the question before BJ walks in and interupts before they can answer.

Cheyenne and Van ask Reba if they can move back in with her after Van accidentally starts a fire at their new house. Also, Barbra Jean is offered a job at a TV station in Arkansas.

Reba is beyond disappointed when her plans for a fright-filled Halloween fall through because everyone in the family has other plans. Meanwhile, Van's green-eyed monster comes out when Cheyenne starts spending an inordinate amount of time with her handsome sponsor, Frank

When Reba and Jake take in a stray dog that survived Hurricane Katrina, Van and Cheyenne invite the owners to stay at the house until they can get back on their feet. However, the Harts are in for a big surprise when it turns out there are 18 people in the displaced family. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean heads up the "Save the Dog" campaign and turns her house into a shelter for lost pets, leaving dog-hating Brock more than annoyed.

Already concerned about Van living part-time in Denver, Cheyenne is fit to be tied when she learns that Van lied about having to return to Denver early cause he couldn't take anymore of Cheyenne's family events. Meanwhile, an overjoyed Reba is faced with a difficult predicament when Kyra contemplates moving back home, a situation that may result in more damage to Kyra's relationship with her father, Brock.

Reba is worried when she and Brock must attend an anger management therapy session that was mandated by the court during their divorce. Cheyenne and Van are required to be present as well, and Reba fears things have gone from bad to worse when everyone starts arguing in front of the therapist. Later, Barbra Jean crashes the session and the five adults end up telling the therapist about the crazy things they have done to each other over the years.

Reba doesn't approve of Barbra Jean's method of disciplining Henry. However, when Jake lies and blames Henry for breaking Reba's lamp, Reba is forced to apologize for criticizing Barbra Jean's parenting skills. Meanwhile, Brock and Van are mistaken for a gay couple when they spend their "guy time" at a day spa.

Reba and Brock are shocked when Kyra tells them that she is postponing college to go on tour with her band. Unfortunately, when Reba puts her foot down and tells Kyra that she won't allow her to make this huge mistake, Kyra decides to move out. Meanwhile, Cheyenne and Van can't agree on how to decorate their new house.

In order to keep her unborn baby from ending up like Kyra, Cheyenne tries to redeem good karma by giving back Kyra's 5th birthday party that Cheyenne destroyed years ago. Meanwhile, Cheyenne is driving Van crazy with a 20 page list of things to do before the baby arrives. Reba, as always, is caught in the middle with the challenge of fixing all the family problems.

Van gets a "kidnap breakfast," a tradition that includes the drill team making the football player of the week an early morning meal. Meanwhile, Reba decides to host the Wildcat pregame dinner for the team and everything goes well until Barbra Jean discovers the potato salad.

The biggest real estate company in town has called and Reba convinces Van to place his loyalty aside and come with her to see what their intentions are only to find out they just want Van and not her. Cheyenne gets overwhelmed planning her second wedding to Van when Reba and Barbra Jean won't stop putting their two cents in. When Cheyenne declines Brock's offer to intern at his dental office, the family finds out she no longer wants to become a dentist. Instead she plans to devote her life to helping people. Reba, Van and Brock are upset by this and visit the senior center where Cheynne has been volunteering and discover that she's been "helping" by giving the women makeovers. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean's attempt to get picked for jury duty backfires after she annoys the judge.

Cheyenne who is feeling strain on her marriage with Van decides to setup a play date for Elizabeth not knowing that the father of this play date believes this new play date means something more. Upon receipt of flowers who Reba and BJ believe are from this father tell her to send flowers back with a note saying this relationship is over. The father returns the flowers but they end up in Van's hands where he reads the note believing the flowers and note are for him. Meanwhile, Van's addiction of on line poker attracts and hooks Reba who ends up talking with a man in the chat room who she is beating badly. They both end up really interested in each other until Reba finds out this man lives across the street and is someone she knows...Brock!

After collapsing at Van and Cheyenne's non-wedding, Reba is rushed to the hospital. The family is panicked about her health, but she only wants to focus on helping Van and Cheyenne resolve their relationship troubles. After a miscommunication sends Barbra Jean (who does not appear in the episode) to her brother Buzzard's house in Lubbock for Thanksgiving, Buzzard mistakenly ends up on Reba's doorstep for the holiday. The family soon realizes they may have traded crazy Barbra Jean for her even crazier brother, who believes that Reba has been sending him love letters signed "Peaches" and that Brock is "the dirtbag who's trying to take my sister to hell with him."

Reba finds Van & Cheyenne their perfect house and when trying to make the deal with the owner realizes it is Cheyenne's enemy from high school. Meanwhile, Brock and Barbra Jean get all dolled up to have a divorce date.

After observing their constant bickering in the real estate office, Reba and Van's boss insists they see the company's occupational therapist to work things out. Meanwhile, Brock and Barbra Jean consult a sleep doctor who suggests they videotape themselves in bed to find out why Brock is waking up exhausted and achy every morning.

Reba convinces Barbra Jean her house is haunted by the previous owner, but the joke wears thin when Barbra Jean moves in with her. After a ""ghost-ridding"" ceremony, Reba finds out that after all this time Barbara Jean thinks she stole Brock from her.

Van moves his belongings into his and Cheyenne's room, and Reba and Kyra are shocked when Cheyenne accepts the mess, which includes a large neon sign, 12 pairs of sneakers, exercise equipment and a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders poster. Meanwhile, Jake has his first visitation with his father, and Reba makes a discovery about herself.

Van is bored by not working and decides to make up for lost time by playing every other sport. He doesn't want to care for Elizabeth while Cheyenne is in school so he hires a nanny. Cheyenne is streching herself to the limit with school because she thinks she has to be the breadwinner now. BJ is lonely and has a talk with Reba asking her to ask Brock to move back in. Reba laughs and suggests getting a dog. Brock in the meantime comes to Reba also and asks to see if BJ is ready for him to come back. BJ has a surprise for Reba and Brock which was not the surprise either of them were expecting...a little ""Brock"". The nanny is working out just fine for Van by cleaning everything and teaching him and Jake spanish, but it's not sitting well for Reba. The nanny doesn't believe she is ""working for Reba.""

After the family makes fun of Reba's poor eyesight, she secretly gets laser eye surgery, which leaves her temporarily blind. Barbra Jean insists on helping Reba post-surgery while the rest of the family is away. Later, thinking she is talking to Cheynne, Reba badmouths Barbra Jean, only to find out she's been talking to Barbra Jean the whole time. Overwhelmed with guilt for the hurtful things she said, and with Brock's help, Reba finally tells Barbra Jean how thankful she is for their friendship.

BJ confesses to Reba that she's attracted to her new marriage therapist. Reba tells her to go talk to him about it. Van and Cheyenne convince Reba to go with BJ to talk to Dr. Morgan so nothing happens. BJ gets all giddy while talking to Dr. Morgan and tells him she's attracted to him. Dr. Morgan explains why she's attracted to him and then transfers her and Brock to another therapist. Meanwhile Reba is very attracted to Dr. Morgan also and she asks him out. Cheyenne and Van find out that Reba is going out with Dr. Morgan and tells her to tell BJ because she is unaware of their date. After much discussion Reba finally goes out on a interesting date with Dr. Morgan...

After constant persuasion, Van accepts the job from Steve Norris. Reba supports his decision to move to a bigger Real Estate firm but refuses to let Van take their client list leading to the ultimate Real Estate battle. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean pursues one of her dreams of becoming a TV News Weather Woman.

Reba encourages Brock to follow his heart if that means pursuing his dream of playing professional golf, but Barbra Jean is less-than-thrilled with Reba's advice, worrying that it will mean the end of her marriage. After Brock and Barbra Jean get audited, Brock informs Reba that the IRS is going to audit the last five years of their marriage. A mystery story line with hilarious flashback occurs leading to the true demise of Brock the dog.

After watching her fiercest competitor make a killing in the real estate market, Reba decides it's time to start investing. However, she can't do it alone with her bad credit, so Cheyenne suggests that Reba and Van team up. Later, when Reba finds out that Van went behind her back and purchased a home "as is," without any inspections, she wants out of the partnership. Meanwhile, Barbra Jean is feeling neglected by Brock and finds companionship from an unlikely source - the operator from her car's navigation system.

When Reba agrees to compete against Brock in a 5K race to raise money for Jake's school, Van insists on coaching her to victory. Meanwhile, Barbara Jean tries to teach Cheyenne to cook.

Kyra, growing up so fast, gets her drivers license. This new level of life for Kyra leads to a discussion of how freeing that is by Cheyenne, who now feels like a caged bird. Reba gives Kyra a cell phone, but the phone also serves as a tracking device so Reba can see where she's at. Wise Kyra is on to Reba, so she trades phones with Cheyenne, leading to Reba and BJ catching Cheyenne on a secret trip to a Karaoke bar. Reba convinces Cheyenne that she should share her feelings with Van. All is well as they go to leave the bar but not without a special duet between Reba and BJ.

Jake enters Reba in a school fundraiser - ""Pageant of the Grandmas"" knowing that she is hot and will win. When Barbara Jean hears about it, she wants to enter too. Reba lets her and drops out, only to find that Jake really wanted her to be in it. She decides that she will compete -- against Barbara Jean. With some coaching and glamour prepping from Cheyenne and Van, Reba is ready. As the pageant is about to begin the teacher tells the two grandmothers that only one grandma Hart can enter...leaving the two to decide who will compete.

Against Barbra Jean's atypical ""better"" judgment, Reba allows Kyra to spend time with her boyfriend, Chip, without adult supervision, but she is forced to question her decision after Jake confesses that Kyra and Chip broke house rules, spending time upstairs in Kyra's room. Meanwhile, Cheyenne accompanies Van to Denver for the first time expecting to find his new apartment in complete disarray. However, much to her disappointment, Van's apartment is in immaculate condition and he is clearly relishing in his newfound independence.

Cheyenne and Van come home from their honeymoon in Galveston and have to deal with returning to school--married. Meanwhile, Reba adjusts the house for their new living arrangements, but not everyone is as ready to accept the newlyweds.

Reba begins to feel more comfortable in her relationship with Brian so she bravely invites him home to meet her family. Meanwhile, Brock and the kids are less than enthusiastic after they learn they have to attend Barbra Jean's family reunion in Fisheye Bottom. At the reunion, Brock runs scared of Barbra Jean's gun-toting father, Big Daddy, and Barbra Jean finds herself the butt of the joke when it comes to her older sister and brother-in-law.

Barbra Jean shows off her new sleek figure, but Brock fears her interest in exercising is really about spending time with a sexy male trainer, so he persuades Reba to spy on her.

Reba and a pregnant Cheyenne realize that Kyra had too much freedom at Brock and Barbra Jean's. Meanwhile, Jake finds himself accidentally trying out for the wheelchair basketball team and pretends to be handicap to become their star player.

With finances tight, Reba sets out to find a job but quickly learns that her many years of experience as a mother don't transfer over into the job field. When Cheyenne and Van happily announce that they've applied for food stamps, a very frustrated Reba swallows her pride and takes Brock up on his offer to give her a job in his dental office.

After Brock moves back into the condo, Barbara Jean dresses up like she is going out having a blast moving on. Reba's intuition tells her that Kyra was cancelling their mother-daughter dinner dates because she was stuck babysitting Henry. But it turns out Brock has Henry and BJ is just acting. Reba tells Kyra to come home, but Kyra says she needs to stay with Barbara Jean to help her get through the seperation.

Reba is ready to ring Barbra Jean's neck after she finds out that the crazy blonde has secretly planned a blind date (guest star Leslie Jordan) for her favorite redhead. To make things even worse, Barbra Jean announces that she and Brock will be coming along on a double date. Meanwhile, Van gets carried away with his bonus money and buys a sports car without including Cheyenne in the big decision.

Cheyenne celebrates her 21st birthday with a Girl's Night out called Cheyenneoploza with Reba and Barbara Jean since they are the only ones over 21. Van wants Cheyenne to tell her what she wants for a gift but Cheyenne wants him to pick something she will like. Meanwhile Reba and BJ are fighting over Brock taking "Happy Pills". Reba finally comes to terms with Barbara Jean's craziness. Kyra comes to accept that her Dad is not perfect and is human too.

With Cheyenne, Van, and the baby living in student housing, things are finally back to normal and Reba plans to focus more attention on Kyra, who has become distant. However, her plans suddenly fall short when Van injures himself, suspending his scholarship and losing his off-campus housing, forcing the Montgomery family back into Reba's home.

Reba is caught in the middle when Brock and Barbara Jean's marriage is on the rocks, and Kyra complicates matters by telling Cheyenne and Van that Barbara Jean caught Reba and Brock in bed together.

Reba doesn't like it one bit when she is pressured to take sides as the key witness in a silly legal battle between two bullheaded and immature dentists, her boss Eugene and Brock. Meanwhile, the gloves come off when Cheyenne and Van argue over which one of them is a bigger liar and cheat.

With Kyra's college fund at heart, Reba partners with Barbra Jean to sell handmade patchwork shirts after Barbara Jean convinces Reba to go into business with her. Meanwhile, Cheyenne is horrified when Van decides to shave his head for a football team ritual.

Reba and Brock don't know whether to hug or ground Kyra after she admits to punching a classmate who called Cheyenne a slut. Meanwhile, Van gets a bit carried away helping Jake build a volcano for his science fair.

Realizing that his wife, Barbra Jean (who was pregnant in real life at the time this episode was taped), has taken up eating as a hobby and gained quite a bit of weight as a result, Brock consults Reba on how best to handle the delicate situation. Ultimately, Cheyenne is the one who confronts Barbra Jean about her food addiction, suggesting that she and Reba go on a diet with her.

Kyra convinces an exhausted Barbra Jean to treat herself to a make-over. However, much to everyone's surprise, Barbra Jean transforms herself into a Reba look-alike. To make matters worse, Reba begins to feel Kyra pulling away from her while growing closer to her stepmom Barbra Jean.

Reba has problems with Kyra going out on a date alone with her 17 year old boyfriend, so she asks Cheyenne and Van to double date with them. Later, Kyra gets dump because she would not "take the next step" in the relationship. Meanwhile, Barbara Jean believes Brock is cheating on her and asks Reba to interrogate him. Reba finds out that Brock has been seeing a therapist and taking "Happy Pills". Barbara Jean is upset that Brock is doing this but comes to the conclusion that it's alright cause Reba did the same thing when Brock and her split up.

Kyra's fine grades in social studies have earned her an invitation to study in England for the summer, but when Cheyenne announces that she must attend summer school to remain a full-time student, Reba discovers that her financial situation will only allow her to assist one of the girls. And it seems like good news when Brock and Barbra Jean announce that they are moving, until Reba finds out that the house they plan to buy is just around the corner.

Brock promises Jake that he will build him a tree house, but he gets preoccupied with his newborn and breaks his word, so Reba has to open up the toolbox to lend a hand.

Barbra Jean becomes suspicious about Kyra's secretiveness and convinces Reba to hack in to Kyra's e-mail account. Barbra Jean and Reba discover that Kyra is planning to go to an unsupervised party and possibly go to the next level with a boy. Brock, Barbra Jean, and Reba all want to prevent Kyra from making the same mistake as Cheyenne so they stake out the party.

Brock's mother comes to visit and drops the bomb that Brock confided to her that he may have made a huge mistake by leaving Reba to marry Barbra Jean. Meanwhile, Cheyenne convinces Van that it might be time to forgive and forget with his parents.

A sentimental Brock is so upset to find out that a strapped-for-cash Reba is selling her engagement ring on Ebay that he enters the bidding in an attempt to get the ring back. However, keeping the ring ""in the family"" takes a bizarre turn when Barbra Jean assumes the ring is for her. Meanwhile, Van decides it's time to buy Cheyenne a ring of her own, but is embarrassed when he is forced to choose between a cubic zirconia or a tiny diamond. Scarlett Pomers and Mitch Holleman also star.

Van tells his football team that Reba is his and Cheyenne's maid because he's embarassed to admit he lives with his mother-in-law. Meanwhile, Brock tells Reba and Barabra Jean he wants to quit the dentistry business and play professional golf on the senior tour.

The entire Hart clan goes into panic mode when Kyra disappears from Brock and Barbra Jean's house in the middle of the night. Meanwhile, an exuberant Van can't understand why Cheyenne is petrified at the thought of appearing with him on a cable sports show, but the tables quickly turn once the cameras start rolling.

Reba is so freaked out about spending Valentine's Day with Brian that she pretends to be sick to get out of the date, but her plan backfires when he shows up with chicken soup and tells her he loves her. Meanwhile, in a battle of male egos, Brock and Van compete to see who can be the most romantic with their wives.

Van comes home late after having a few drinks with his buddies and is feeling a little frisky, but climbs into the wrong bed. Reba wakes and says she has a headache. The next morning he says that his friends are happy for what he has accomplished on their football team and that's why they took him out to celebrate. Reba, Cheyenne and BJ all decide to give him a surprise party to show him that they are proud of him too. Reba gets satellite hooked up, BJ makes a cake, and Cheyenne prepares a speech. After the speech Van blurts out that he has been traded to Denver and Cheyenne freaks out. Brock chases after Van and Reba goes after Cheyenne. Kyra tries to talk sense into Brock and BJ. She says they can't keep arguing. So they start to talk civilly to each other. Reba says the same thing that Kyra says to Van about moving away and leaving his family for football. Van and Cheyenne try to talk things out but Van walks away saying that he has to do this...

Barbra Jean takes it upon herself to find the perfect man for Reba by signing her up at an online dating service, but she later regrets her decision when Reba begins dating a mystery man and doesn't have as much time for her or the family. As a result, Cheyenne and Van realize how much work it takes to care for their daughter without Reba's help, and Barbra Jean and Brock, who wants to make sure he's better looking than Reba's new boyfriend, decide to check out their competition.

A near-death experience causes Reba to put her personal affairs in order and write a will. But when she persuades Cheyenne and Van to do the same, in the interest of naming a legal guardian for Elizabeth if something should happen to them, she soon has regrets when she learns that they have picked Brock and Barbra Jean.

Cheyenne sees Van getting a ride home from the team's attractive female publicist, and suspects he's cheating on her. An upset Cheyenne kicks Van out of the house, and admits to Reba that she's afraid her marriage will fail just like her parents.

Cheyenne thinks that she is in labor, so everyone rushes to the hospital. But Barbra Jean's the one who's in for more than expected when the fellow mom-to-be makes her way to the maternity ward.

Reba loves to make fun of Barbra Jean but vows to suck it up for Kyra's sake; however her plan backfires during Jakes birthday party when Barbra Jean starts thowing out a few insults of her own. Meanwhile, Brock shows up to the party fresh from his first Botox treatment.

Reba notices that BJ has been spending too much time moping around the house so she talks her into going out to the bars again and living it up. Barbara Jean not wanting to go alone talks Reba into joining her. She insists that they must follow ""The Two Girl Theory"" and go as a pair cause one woman going alone looks desperate but two women look like they're going out for the fun. Van talks to Jake about the birds and the bees.

Reba throws a baby shower for Cheyenne and gives her a homemade present: a quilt sewn from Cheyenne's own baby clothes. But when Brock runs out and buys the parents-to-be a car without consulting Reba, she has a bit of a problem with it.

Reba working in her new Real Estate field decides she needs an assistant. Since Van is not working at the moment she decides that hiring him would not only help her but also the family. Van's unprofessional attitude frustrates Reba leading to Van being fired but Reba comes to term and rehires Van cause she believes she may have been too professional and Van's way of thinking leads her to a sale of a home. Reba, inspecting Van's collection of business wardrobe, finds a bottle of booze in the closet. Van, knowing it is not his, lies to Reba and says it is. Cheyenne comes in where Van confronts her on the bottle...

Reba is happy to find out that she and Kyra are closer than ever since Kyra moved in with Brock and Barbra Jean. Kyra's behavior is driving Brock and Barbra Jean crazy. Meanwhile, Cheyenne's snoring is causing problems for Van.

When Van and Cheyenne reconcile with Van's parents, Reba feels threatened by the extravagant gifts they shower on baby Elizabeth and the situation soon escalates into a competition over who are the better grandparents. Meanwhile, Cheyenne has difficulty adjusting to life now that Van has returned to the football team and has little time to spend with her.

In an effort to save Brock and Barbra Jean from losing their home, Reba and Van buy their house and rent it out to them. Barbra Jean doesn't like the idea of Reba being her landlady, so when she sprains her ankle in the house, she decides to file a lawsuit against Reba.

Van has a big away game coming up, but his superstistions for winning are getting on Cheyenne's nerves. The two of them ask Barabara Jean to watch Elizabeth while they're gone. After learning that Barabra Jean once lost Henry at the mall, Reba tries to take Elizabeth for herself. When that doesn't work, Reba offers to go to the zoo with Henry, BJ, and Elizabeth. At the end, Reba is forced to admit some of her feelings to Barabra Jean, who in turn, gloats in a Broadway-style song. Brock, Kyra, and Jake all only make 2 appearances in the show.

Over Brock and Barbra Jean's objections, Reba gives Kyra permission to go on her first date, then discovers the boy is 17 years old. As the three adults panic, they decide to spy on Kyra's date and end up ruining it. Meanwhile, Van believes that Jake is the victim of a classroom injustice and confronts the boy's teacher.

Reba, not only being a mother-in-law but also a boss suggests that Van stops his drinking and go to an AA meeting. Van is furious and demands that Cheyenne tell her parents the truth. Cheyenne decides she will get help and goes to a AA meeting where she comes back excited that she is a alcoholic, blurting out her news to the rest of the family. Reba as the supportive mother decides no one will drink to help Cheyenne. Meanwhile, Kyra and her band are invited to perform at a USO event for soldiers leaving for Iraq. As the family secretly sneaks wine and beer around, Cheyenne is promoting her growth as a non-alcoholic and frowns upon her "using days". Reba later catches Cheyenne having a glass of wine and questions her on it. Cheyenne reveals that her life has been hell for the past year and alcohol is the only thing that has been helping her and she is scared and doesn't know what to do. Reba tells her that she is not alone and we end with a tearful hug.

Brock finds out that his estranged father has passed away, and he asks Reba to help him with the funeral plans. Meanwhile, Cheyenne goes to the doctor's office for an ultrasound.

Cheyenne announces that she will pursue a career in ""dentisting"", so she can be like her Dad. Reba tries to point her in a less ambitious direction.

Cheyenne and Van get ready for graduation as the mom-to-be tries to hide her contractions because she wants to get her diploma in person.
