Rick takes a sabbatical from the CIA and returns to the base, hoping to rekindle his strained relationship with Captain Maggie. Meanwhile, paranoia runs high when a mole is suspected to be operating inside the base. In a drastic attempt to uncover the traitor, The Colonel administers truth serum to everyone and unleashes far more confessions than he ever bargained.

The troops of Stroopsdorf participate in their quarterly war games; when an unidentified drone hovers over the base, The Colonel recruits Captain Maggie, Major Shah and Sergeant Dana to take a trip to the owner's house to confirm he is not a spy.

When the Colonel's three ex-wives show up on base, he's surprised and furious to learn they're all good friends; Major Shah and Captain Maggie work together to fix the base's electrical wiring.

The Colonel transforms into the over-protective father Captain Maggie never asked for (but might reluctantly admit she needs), when her on-off boyfriend, CIA Agent Rick, drops by the base for a weekend visit.

After throwing out his back, The Colonel is ordered to bed rest. Meanwhile, the base is sent to sweep for landmines at a local farm, where Major Shah suddenly finds himself in serious danger when he steps on one.

Everyone in town is talking about the upcoming Korfball match between the Americans and the Dutch. The Colonel refuses to lose to the Dutch and Captain Quinn brings out her high school alter ego "The Rocket" to make her dad proud.

General Davidson makes a visit to USAG Stroopsdorf and insults The Colonel by tasking him with commanding the unit of traffic during a Tank Maneuver. The Colonel devises a plan to steal a tank to prove he is still in his prime. Captain Quinn wants to earn her father's respect and organizes her own secret tank heist mission.

After a messy break-up, The Colonel and Katja find themselves going to war between the town and the base. Captain Maggie tries to de-escalate the tension between the two ex-lovers and negotiate a truce. Meanwhile, Major Shah needs extra cash and finds himself roped into a lobster smuggling scheme with Papadakis.

The colonel is reassigned to take emergency command of USAG Stroopsdorf in the Netherlands; Sgt. Conway provides the colonel and Shah with a tour of the things Stroopsdorf is known for... cheese, laundry, and bowling.

With the celebration of the US's 250th birthday coming up, the base's festivities are on the line when their supplies are held up by a petty and vengeful Davidson. Team Shiny must pull off a daring undercover mission to take back the captive turkeys, as well as other assorted artificially flavored trappings.

Due to flooding from a massive storm, The Colonel invites General Martin and her troops to stay at Stroopsdorf. But when her secret plan to seize control of the base is exposed, the romantic reunion turns into a battle of trust. And while chaos brews, Shah and Maggie turn up the heat on their romance.

Stroopsdorf is hosting its first-ever international peace talks, and when Captain Maggie is assigned the seemingly simple task of handing out cheese, The Colonel turns into a full-blown helicopter parent. However, his meddling lands Maggie in charge of all summit events, where every mistake is on her.
