A 1971 Cutlass is starting to show its age, with some styling that would be best left in the '70s.

Shorty's is traditionally a Chevy shop, but this week, a Ford collector who's always dreamed of a Shorty paint job convinces them to take on his '71 Torino GT. But what looks like a pretty straight car is hiding a can of worms underneath. Shorty is doing full custom paint, with a hand-painted stripe instead of the stock decal, plus other details that would make Clint Eastwood smile.

Shorty and Terry unearth a rare unmolested treasure, a 1969 Impala with 14,000 original miles on it. The guys go to work on getting it running and putting it on bags with new wheels and tires. Meanwhile, Pete is looking to upgrade his 1958 Impala.

Work continues on the Volkswagen delivery bus, as Shorty gets down in the paint booth on this giant beast. Then it's time to get this bus across the finish line with a new motor, new suspension, new stance and brand new wheels and tires. When it's done, the team celebrates with a reveal to remember in a museum dedicated to all things VW.

A big fan of the movie "Training Day" wants his '78 Monte Carlo to be built in the same vein. The G-body needs the works, including a swapped LS, beefed-up brakes and suspension and a new interior. Shorty's G10 parts runner van needs a facelift, and he enlists a teacher and his students for the job.

Shorty's friend Monty wants to rebuild the car of his youth, an Amber Glow 1955 DeSoto. The car might be pink, but it has a hemi under the hood. Plus, a 2000 Chevy dually is a monster, but needs a new paint job, interior and air ride system.

A 1967 Nova has sat collecting dust after its owner abandoned the project six years earlier.

NFL linebacker Matt Judon wants to make over his father's 1977 Eldorado and bring it back to its original glory, with some Shorty touches, of course.

After losing a grandson in a racetrack crash, Rick Wilson and his family want to raise money to promote safety at tracks around Texas; they enlist Shorty and the team to build a 1956 Corvette that will be auctioned off for their cause.

Shorty takes on the huge challenge of making a long-bed '69 C10 cool. It belongs to a Vietnam vet, whose son wants the crew to transform it into the dream truck they always imagined.

Arturo is a good friend of the shop, and his classic Nova will be a monster, with a rebuilt supercharged 6.2 LS, plus upgrades to the chassis and brakes; the crew revives a classic 1924 LaFrance fire truck for the nearby Cedar Hill Fire Department.

Shorty and Pete need to find a Volkswagen delivery bus to round out a collector's dream of creating a VW museum; they track down an extremely rare panel van that's been out to pasture under a pecan tree, but Shorty and Pete think it will be perfect.
