Action Bronson treats the people of Long Island to an impromptu barbecue on the sidewalk. Bronson had asked his friends at Babylon Village Meat Market to track down a rare cut of beef called Cupim, the muscle on the back of Zebu cow, so he could make his first attempt at grilling the said piece of meat. While the grill is hot, Action's host at the butcher shop breaks out a wide array of dry-aged steaks for the feast. This time we are in Brooklyn at Fortunato Brothers Bakery to learn how the best cannoli in New York City are made. Action's guide is Biagio Fortunato, a second generation pasticere and co-owner of the bakery. Action has been eating here since he was a teenager and it still stands up. The next is a new spot on the Bronson list, but it holds the title for satisfying soulful food. The restaurant is called Ix, and it specializes in Guatemalan food, but with an international twist set in Brooklyn. We then head back to Queens, and feast at the incomparable Merguez and Frites.
