Kathy is looking for a second home and Star Island seems to be the perfect location. Kathy meets up with some fellow celebrities and also works in a hotel.

After last week's oh-so-A-List sold-out show at Madison Square Garden, Kathy was back "on the D-L" this week. Not that kind of D-L, as in Down-Low, but Kathy's kind of D-L: D-List. You can't get more D-List than being the special guest at the International Bear Roundup in San Francisco or getting your assistants a teaching gig at the Learning Annex.

Kathy gears up to host a gay adult-video awards gala. She also prepares to perform her comedy act in front of prisoners at a state penitentiary in Arizona.

With fellow comic Michael McDonald and actress Karri Turner in tow, Kathy departs for Iraq to perform for the troops. While Michael ends up wowing the audience of soldiers, Kathy does not, at least at first. Also, Kathy discovers that military-issue food might be good for her figure.

Kathy addresses her breakup with husband Matt, goes on a “Red State” stand-up tour and auctions off a weekend stay for one at her house for charity. She also finds time to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Tyra Banks Show.”

Kathy decides to write a tell-all book; Kathy grants Maggie a series of wishes.

Kathy's gay fan base has reached international proportions and it's time to travel to the land down under to receive the love (and publicity) that she so richly deserves (and craves). And what better time of year to visit Oz and the Emerald City than during Gay Mardi Gras? For the Mardi Gras parade, Kathy will be riding on top of a float through downtown Sydney. But before she can go down under, she has to go up, up and away on one of her craziest D-List gigs yet -- she'll be the hostess of Air New Zealand's Pink Flight from San Francisco to Sydney (you don't see Chris Rock having to take gigs like this). This special flight features a bevy of flight attendant drag queens and gay themed in-flight entertainment including a stand up performance by Kathy over a PA system at 35,000 feet. Kathy will be beside herself with a captive audience that is ready to party for 15 hours straight. And by straight, we mean gay.

The fourth season of Bravo’s Emmy-winning Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List begins with Kathy getting a chance to redeem herself from her Emmy acceptance speech in the eyes of Christian Americans. America’s favorite Prada-clad journalist, Anderson Cooper, has invited her to co-host CNN’s New Year’s Eve Countdown show. She and the seriously credible (and yummy) “Andy,” as Kathy likes to call him, will be broadcasting LIVE to 220 countries. And as if Anderson Cooper wasn’t enough, now My Life on the D-List has been nominated for a Producers Guild Award, and Kathy has actually been invited to present. This is Kathy’s big chance. The PGA awards promise to have a heavy A-List attendance. With Steve “Woz” Wozniak on her arm (for protection against the likes of Oprah and her best friend Gayle), she’s sure to make a splash. The competition in the non-fiction category is stiff, as Kathy riles against “Planet Earth.”

In the third-season finale, Kathy scores an award from Irish America magazine. The recognition inspires Kathy to connect with her Irish roots, so she journeys with her posse to Dublin, where she offers a sweet gesture in memory of her father.

Kathy receives an award from the Human Rights Council which gives her the inspiration to fight for what she believes in, so she travels to Washington, DC. to support the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" in the military.

Kathy is ready to set out on Rosie O'Donnell's lesbian cruise, but soon realizes that she must adjust her comedic material to captivate the lesbian audience. To do so, she enlists assistance from "Work Out" star Jackie Warner. However, and to her dismay, Kathy's comedy is not her only impediment, as she receives horrible news that may shake the entire course of her life from this point forward.

To make it up to Maggie after swearing on CNN, Kathy organizes a talent show for the residents of Maggie's retirement community. The show goes well despite the late arrival by Cloris Leachman and Kathy performs "You Made Me Love You" with re-written lyrics in Maggie's honor.

Kathy visits Suzanne Somers' home and gets a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars.

Kathy joins in the protest for gay rights as she travels to Sacramento. She meets up with Melissa Etheridge who has a new nickname for her.

Kathy's in need of a better cash flow so she decides to capitalize on her mother's growing fame. She has a range of ideas and needs help from Suze Orman in order to get things off the ground.

Kathy takes part in judging a toddler pageant where she adds her own artistic touch, and she also has her home remodeled.

Kathy gets some help from Liza Minnelli in order to gain confidence for her guest spot on Law & Order: SVU.

Kathy hopes that having a public Pap smear that it will help raise awareness of women's health. She wants more people to know about her upcoming gig so begins publicity for it and meets up with Joy Behar.

Welcome to the crazy and cooky world of Kathy Griffin, the D-List celebrity everyone knows as "that red-head chick." Despite living a life of low-celeb status, where she assists in judging a drag queen beauty pageant, attempts to recruit celebrities to come to her annual Toys for Tots fundraiser, tries to get a free sofa for her in-the-works A-List house, and "bombs" with her raunchy comedy at a stuffy charity dinner, Kathy gets all of the support she needs from her parents, her husband, her wonderful assistant, her two "best gays," and her live-in gay visionary, Mike, who is designing Kathy's house for next-to-free in exchange for the publicity that will come with the house. Kathy's life proves that you don't need to be Nicole Kidman in order to enjoy yourself.

The always-busy Kathy takes on as much as she can handle before her big Toys for Tots fundraiser, including shopping for more furniture, getting a next-to-free custom-made sofa, flying to Oregon for a celebrity poker tournament, going to Las Vegas to film a commercial for the Billboard Awards, and still finding time to plug her upcoming DVD, Allegedly, on Extra. Later, Kathy tries to find some time to relax while catering to the needs of lots of celebrities, like Andy Dick, Nestor Carbonell, Jenny McCarthy, Jamie-Lynn Discala, James Denton, and even Ray Romano! What a weekend!

The winner of Kathy's auction finally arrives for a weekend stay at her home, but he's not quite as flamboyant as she had hoped. Regardless, Kathy shows him a grand old time - Hollywood style. Meanwhile, she attempts to lose 10 pounds and later prepares for a trip to Iraq to entertain the troops.

Life is busier than ever for Kathy since last season, and she's hired two more assistants, Tom and Tiffany, to help her keep up with the pace. Some of her upcoming events include a visit to the ladies of The View (which goes much better than last time thanks to Star's departure), a gig hosting a corporate film for Redken sales reps, and most importantly--a sold out show at Carnegie Hall! But not all of Kathy's recent changes have been pleasant...she and Matt Moline are now officially divorced, and she's not sure she's ready to face the world alone.

Kathy Griffin heads to Bora Bora to perform stand up and to greet fans. Also she attempts to get her mother to leave her house and move to a retirement home.

Kathy realizes that to appeal to the younger generation, she needs to brush shoulders with young Hollywood stars. She lands a spot on a teen drama and spends the day with Paris Hilton, while she allows her mom to set up her Facebook page for her.

Kathy and Matt go on the publicity train by doing a nation-wide tour for Kathy's new comedy DVD, titled Allegedly. On the tour, Star Jones inadvertantly disses her on The View, John McEnroe butchers her name on his talk show (which is cancelled shortly after Kathy appears), no one shows up to her hyped DVD signings, and Jay Leno calls her ugly on air, which really breaks Kathy's heart and deflates her already-low ego. I guess that's what happens when you're on the D-List.

Following her tragic family loss, Kathy begins to ponder her legacy and wishes to resolve all her relationship issues. In the meantime, she is also offered a gig on a home-shopping network, hosts a performance in her hometown Chicago, and reconnects with an old high-school love.

Kathy's determination to get a Grammy nomination has paid off, but she won't rest until she has won the award. Kathy starts calling round previous winners in an effort to secure their votes. She ends up heading to Canada where she speaks to Lily Tomlin.

Kathy tries to tame her badly-behaved puppy Pom-Pom before they both take to the catwalk in a dog-and-owner fashion show for charity called Paws for Style. Meanwhile, she also redesigns a suite in a sleek San Francisco hotel, teaches a class for aspiring comedians and works a private corporate event.
