Kierra plans her BRL (Bold Right Life) conference and feels the pressure as it is the first one she has done without the help of her parents, meanwhile J. Drew struggles to co-parent his son, Jacob.

Kierra heads to London for a series of performances. She decides to bring back up vocalist and her brother's baby mama Shantel with her, much to her brother J. Drew's displeasure while he's stuck in Philidelpha.

Kierra heads to Los Angeles to meet with some big time producers and A&R executives to discuss her broadening career, including her biggest hit maker, Rodney Jerkins. Will Kierra leave her brother behind?

Kierra is finally thinking about moving out, growing up and getting her own place. The bishop continues to try and push J. Drew away from the music and towards the church, an option he may have to consider if Kierra keeps working without him.

Kierra and J. Drew head to the Big Apple for a series of meetings as they continue the push to "go mainstream". Kierra meets director Yolande Geralds about shooting a new music video which forces Kierra into the biggest choice of her career.

After seeing champagne on a flyer for J. Drew's signing party, Karen and J. Drew fight over his new mainstream image. Karen and the bishop worry that drew may be ruining the family legacy.

Karen is off to L.A. where she will be singing at a huge Mariah Carey tribute. Kiki still has to face her hardest decision, using her brother J. Drew's song in her upcoming video or choosing Rodney Jerkins.

Karen wants to give back to her community and devises a plan to do so. After putting on smiling faces for a family photo shoot, J. Drew can't hold it in any longer and tensions rage over Kierra's video choice.
