Maurilio, a 43-year-old moped delivery driver, has collided with a car, he's rushed to St Mary's Major Trauma Centre as his son Kauan comes to terms with what's happened.

At St Mary's, Heidi has surgery after a vicious dog attack and 56 year-old plasterer Lee is brought in by air ambulance after a car crash where emergency doctors took over an hour to extract him from the vehicle.

Other patients include a pedestrian whose leg has been crushed by a bus in south London and a teenager who put his leg through a glass security door.
