Backed into a corner, Malik turns to the Sabers' new owner for help; Derwin worries about his image following Malik's troubles.

When Malik finds out that the love of his life, model/actress Eva Marcelle (guest starring as herself) is getting married, he decides to use up-and-coming singer Drew Sidora (guest starring as herself) to make Eva jealous. Learning that she has been used, Drew turns to Derwin as a shoulder to cry on. Later, Drew asks Derwin to be in her new music video and their on-screen kiss leads to more than he anticipated. Tia Mowry, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Coby Bell and Brittany Daniel also star.

Derwin and Melanie are now two years married with Melanie being a housewife and a step-mom to Derwin’s son. If you remember, she spent the previous few seasons studying to become a doctor. Of course, she has some suspicion that Derwin’s son isn’t really his so she decides to get a DNA test behind his back. Tasha Mack dating a much younger guy named Donte. She tries to keep her true feelings for him low but ends up breaking out emotionally when she discovers his ex-girlfriend was Sheree from the show “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Meanwhile, we see Malik’s success getting to his head. He is currently sleeping with the majority owner of his team’s girlfriend (played by the hot Meagan Good) and he is pushing his best friend to the limits. He eventually gets caught by his friend Terrence who walks in on Malik in a Jacuzzi with the owner’s girlfriend and Terrence’s girlfriend. Lastly, the ongoing battle between Jason and Kelly continue. They just got out of their divorce and they spend the entire episode trying to get each other even more upset.

After Melanie accepts a gift from Derwin, Jerome begins to question her commitment to their relationship. Melanie tries to thraw his questioning by planning a romantic get away trip in Los Angeles but her plans go awry once she realizes that the Sabers are celebrating in the same hotel that they are is staying in. Derwin and Malik commiserate over losing Melanie and Robin Givens respectively. Tasha gets upset when she learns that Rick Fox is being promoted to manager and she ends up sharing an intimate moment with him. Meanwhile, After firing his manager, Kelly tries to convince Jason to sign with Irv.

Melanie and Tasha clash over the direction of Derwin and Malik’s careers, resulting in Melanie firing Tasha from her position as Derwin’s manager.

A hurt Kelly rejects Melanie and Tasha’s proposition to ‘hang out’ after they kicked her out of a SunBeams gathering. Kelly tries to save her show and ends up saving herself in the process and Malik's finally starting to show some improvement from rehab.

Blue helps Keira prepare for an audition, resulting in an intimate “first” moment for the couple. Meanwhile, after Tasha tells Rick her intentions to break things off with Pookie, she is caught off guard by an impromptu proposal instead.

Malik is introduced to his step-sister and worries that he may have slept with her unaware they were related. Tasha meets her former husband's new wife and is surprised to see that she is similar to herself.

Malik begins dating Robin Givens and soon realizes that his methods to dating may have been working against him. Meanwhile, Jason suffers from depression after the championship. Brittany Daniel, Pooch Hall, Tia Mowry and Wendy Raquel Robinson also star.

Derwin injures himself during a game, and Jason has to fill in for him during the superbowl. But Jason has second thoughts on his position. Meanwhile, Melanie is torn between Derwin and Jerome. Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Sanchez and Brittany Daniel also star.

Kelly takes Brittany and leaves Jason when he refuses to stop taking steroids, Meanwhile, Derwin tries to impress a pretty woman but she sees through his facade and decides to school him on how to treat a lady.

During ESPY week in Los Angeles, Derwin gets an unexpected endorsement deal and is left to celebrate with Drew Sidora (guest starring as herself), while Melanie is busy studying in San Diego. Malik runs into Renee (guest star Kendra C. Johnson) an old flame, but when things heat up and she wants to spend time with him in public, he gets cold feet because she is overweight. Feeling conflicted, Malik asks Tasha for advice to sort out his feelings about Renee.

When Kelly attempts to please Jason, take care of her daughter and impress Jason's parents who visit from out of town, she overworks herself and has a breakdown, Meanwhile, Malik starts to worry about winning the playoff game and enlists Derwin as his new practice partner. Tia Mowry and Wendy Raquel Robinson also star.

When Derwin's image consultant ( guest star Shanti Lowry), tells Derwin her idea to pair him with football player Trey Wiggs (guest star Chaz Lamar Shepherd), his former college teammate, he objects, saying he and Trey were more like rivals than teammates. Meanwhile, Derwin learns that Melanie had lunch with Trey, though she insists that it is strictly platonic. However when a local paper secretly photographs Melanie having a second lunch with Trey, things heat up. Coby Bell and Brittany Daniel also star.

When Melanie (Tia Mowry) learns that Derwin (Pooch Hall) is still upset about the bad publicity caused by her continuing friendship with an old football rival, she tries to find various ways to make it up to him. However, when Derwin refuses to acknowledge that there is a problem, Melanie calls her mother and starts packing. Meanwhile Kelly (Brittany Daniel) and Tasha (Wendy Raquel Robinson) persuade Malik (Hosea Chanchez) and Jason (Coby Bell) to talk some sense into Derwin.

Melanie goes home to Connecticut to spend Christmas with her parents, while Derwin stays in San Diego, where he anxiously waits to see if the Sabers will make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Malik worries the team will discover he has an obsessive-compulsive disorder.

When Derwin rehires Irv it sets off Melanie searching for her role in life while Tasha sues Derwin and Irv for money she believes she is owed. Meanwhile, Malik is forced to evaluate his extravagant lifestyle.

Everyone believes that Malik is gay after Robin Given's implies this while on national TV as the reason for their breakup. While Malik is teased by his teammates, its revealed that another player on the team is gay, but can't face being outed. Meanwhile, Derwin accuses Melanie of dating a doctor while at work.

Tasha attempts to salvage her friendship with Pookie after it is revealed she has been cheating on him with Rick. Meanwhile, Jason and Chardonnay have it out over her involvement in Tasha’s love triangle. Finally, Keira and Blue each share their side of the break-up with Malik (at different times), while patronizing Drop Bar.

Malik enlists his friends to appear in a promotional campaign, but an accusation derails his plans. Elsewhere, events run smoothly for Rick, to Tasha's chagrin; Blue sets out to beat Keira in the dating game; and an injury impacts Jason's life.

Derwin advises Jason to stop at nothing to win Kelly back and put an end to all the divorce talk, but Jason's grand gesture may be too little too late for Kelly. When Robin (Robin Givens playing herself) tells Malik to stop fooling around with other women in order to keep up the charade of their fake marriage, Malik decides it's time to play by his rules.

Melanie cautiously agrees to go on a date with a new guy name Jermone at the sky box for the Sabers game. Derwin, furious, decides to take Malik's advice and use his energy on the game. Meanwhile, Kelly and Tasha compete to get an endorsement deal for Jason and Malik.

Although The Sabers lose their game and are eliminated from the playoffs, Derwins performance earns him the attention of a high-profile manager. Melanie is shocked when Derwin considers a proposal that he be traded to a Chicago team. Meanwhile, Malik, taking the game loss really hard, decides to write a rap to vent his feelings, and Kelly and Jason try to hide their feelings about losing the game. Wendy Raquel Robinson also stars.

It's down to the wire Game fans! Can the Sabers pull off a championship win? Will Derwin and Melanie settle on a resolution to their potential long distance relationship? Will Malik cut ties with Jenna in order to maintain his professional success? Jason sends Chardonnay on a rollercoaster ride.

He reluctantly agrees but ends up running into Janay (guest star Gabrielle Dennis), who decides to put his feelings for Melanie to the test. Tasha spends an entire day in therapy, in an effort to get to the root of her relationship issues. During therapy, Malik is forced to tell Tasha why he thinks her relationships fail.

Malik attempts to get back onto the Sabers roster by manipulating Jason now that he's a coach. Tasha fully commits to motherhood and connects with her baby. Keira has a humiliating experience during a commercial shoot with Blue and re-evaluates her profession entirely.

Malik tells Tasha that he is having problems with the offensive coordinator, Kenny, so she sets out to settle the problem. At the end, Tasha and Kenny disagree about Malik's career but end up liking each other.

When Derwin is unexpectedly forced to take Melanie to singer Drew Sidora's (guest starring as herself) video release party, he panics over how the meeting between them is going to turn out. Kelly and Tasha continue to grow in their work relationship, while Tasha has trouble finding new clients. Meanwhile Jason struggles with his new parenting responsibilities.

Malik fires Tasha as his manager after her failed attempts to resolve an embarrassing situation he was involved in. Elsewhere, Jason worries his career may be over when he is selected for a random drug test for steroids; and a rival sports manager offers to buy Tasha's agency.

Malik has a hard time letting go of his dream home when he's forced to short sell his mansion. Melanie has a showdown with Tasha at Drop Bar.

Chardonnay seeks a way to even the score with Jason; Yana defends Malik's honor.

Derwin invites Melanie to his first away game in Miami, but due to her heavy school load, she decides to pass. When Tasha and Kelly find out she is not going, they persuade her to change her mind by telling her away games are a play ground for cheating. Meanwhile, Derwin's teammates are upset that he invited Melanie and tell him he needs to un-invite her, fearing the other wives will use her as a spy.

Chardonnay plans an extravagant vow-renewal ceremony; Pookie and Tasha butt heads.

Jason's jersey is retired at a special ceremony; Keira hopes to reconnect with Blue.

Melanie gets a job waitressing at a coffee shop, Meanwhile, Derwin, enjoying his new single superstar status, decides to start dating a new girl, named Raquel (Guest star: Nicole Pulliam). Later, when Derwin shows up with Raquel at Melanie's job, Melanie has to suffer mortification while she serves them. Afterwards, Melanie learns that Derwin's new girlfriend is planning to impregnate herself by Derwin via a turkey baster; but when she tells Derwin, he assumes that Melanie is just jealous. Jason must deal with the fallout after his admission that he still loves Kelly. Chardonnay turns to Tasha for help. Blue and Keira run into some speed bumps at the airport.

Melanie feels jealous after Derwin goes with Janay to her first pregnancy appointment. Meanwhile, Kelly decides that it's time for her and Jason to talk to Brittany about their separation. Jason, however, refuses to do so, leaving Kelly confused about what to do next regarding the issue.

While Rick is ready to make their relationship public, Tasha refuses to do so and goes out of her way to keep it a secret from their co-workers. Meanwhile, Malik begins to realize that his marriage may not work out since Robin seems to be in it just for publicity. Finally, Melanie and Derwin's sex life begins to become practically non-existent because Derwin is too worried about becoming a father.

Season 6 opens with Derwin's life in disarray after he's traded. Elsewhere, top draft pick Bryce "Blue" Westbrook celebrates his acquisition by going to a Malik-hosted party and getting frisky with his childhood crush. This season, 'The Game' returns with a follow up to the enticing season finale. Derwin learns that it may be too late to reunite with Melanie after his infidelity when Melanie shows up with an old friend, Trey Wiggs (guest star Chaz Lamar Shepherd) to help collect her stuff and move out for good. Meanwhile, Malik becomes a chick-magnet for plus-size women after his on-air smooch with Renee. Wendy Raquel Robinson, Coby Bell and Brittany Daniel also star.

Keira and Chardonnay receive a less than warm welcome when they are initiated into the Sunbeams. Meanwhile, Blue struggles with fitting in while at Sabers training camp when a prank war between him and Malik goes too far.

Jason sets out to woo Kelly, but things go awry when their date takes a weird sexual turn. Keira and Malik have a friendly movie night which also takes a weird sexual turn.

Keira confronts Malik; and People Magazine writes an article about Tasha, but it doesn't go as planned due to a controversial statement made by Roger Keith.

Rick Fox returns. A night of getting acquainted with her co-workers at Irv Smif Management leads to Tasha getting flashed by Lev, one of her co-workers who happens to be white. After telling Kelly about the event, Kelly tells Tasha she has been disrespected and advises her not to let him get away with it. Meanwhile, Jason and Kelly attend marriage counseling sessions.

Melanie has a confrontation with Janay when she thinks that Janay may be lying about her pregnancy with Derwin's baby. Meanwhile, Kelly invites Melanie and Tasha for a girls night out, and Malik is finally forced to confront Tasha and deliver his big news to her.

Jason's relationship with Chardonnay is tested by a third party; Melanie and Derwin receive troubling fertility news; Chardonnay reaches out to Tasha for relationship help.
