Poltergeist: The Legacy Episode Rating Graph

With the boys out of town Alex, Rachel and Kristin are left to work on a special project. The women must uncover the secrets to a cube dating back to the Han Dynasty. Arriving to help them in this project is Nicholas Oldman but as he gets closer to each it becomes evident to at least one of them he has other plans for them and the cube.

During the 17th Century a suspected witch is 'tested' by being dunked in water, as she goes to her death she curses the next thirteen generations of the Witchfinders family. While guest lecturing at a Boston University Derek gets involved in a series of murders/deaths that seem to involve the same family and could be connected to the long rumoured curse.

As Alex prepares to take slum landlord Kyle Vance to court, she experiences a vision of a red-haired woman in the decaying tenement building. Then, on the witness stand, she finds herself compelled to insist the judge sentence Vance to stay in the building until he completes needed repairs. Later, realizing that an evil force controlled her actions, Alex traces the building's tragic history. Disturbed by what she learns, Alex returns to the tenement to help fight the sensual manifestation of evil that inhabits Vance's crumbling family legacy.

The Episode begins in the desert where a team of surveyors are digging in a cave. One of the men there finds a jar buried deep underground. He opens the jar and finds a scroll inside, he opens the scroll, and the writing on the scroll glows red. He seems to have become hypnotized by it. He then murders his two colleagues. In the Legacy House, Derek tells the team that an old friend, Randolph Hitchcock, wants to donate an ancient artefact to the Luna Foundation. He wants to meet Derek and the rest of the team that night. When Randolph arrives, Derek tells the other Legacy members that Randolph was once a member of the Legacy, but he was forced out years ago. Randolph gives Derek the jar from the desert. Derek opens the jar and takes out the scroll. Randolph wants Legacy to examine and preserve the scroll. On a dock, we see a man wearing a mask, holding a silver cross.

Clayton wants to save his daughter, Samantha, who has a fatal illness. Clayton buys a scarab and a ring from a merchant. The scared, he is told, will heal whatever it touches. However, the ring needs the life force of a human to work. Clayton puts the ring on, the life force is sucked out of him and it put into Samantha. She is now cured, and Clayton, who looks half dead, runs away. Samantha and Clayton have known Derek for years. He allows Sam to stay at the Legacy House, while they try to find Clayton and work out how Sam has been cured so quickly. Later that night, Sam collapses, Clayton has no more life force to give. She needs another source. Sam is now back in the hospital, in a coma. The scarab has let Clayton live, so that he can pass the ring onto another host. On the dock, a robber steals the ring and puts it on. The ring draws life out of him. In the hospital, Sam is once again cured.

We begin in 1969 with Winston and Derek Rayne driving in their car, in the rain. They end up at a cave. Winston goes in, while Derek is told to remain in the car. Inside the cave, Winston finds a sepulcher (a wooden box). He opens the sepulcher, and a demon skeleton emerges, which tries to drag Winston back in sepulcher, however, Derek runs in and manages to close the box. The demon is trapped back inside. However, Winston dies, but before he does, he gives Derek his Legacy ring. Now in the present day, we arrive at the Luna foundation, an artifact finding organization. Derek owns the Luna Foundation, along with Nick, Alex, and Julia, who also live in the house. As a new artifact is presented to Derek, he gets a vision of a young girl in a graveyard with a wooden box, which looks like the one that Winston opened. Derek assembles Nick, Alex, and Julia in a control room, in which to get to, you must walk through an invisible wall.

The episode begins with a sea ship in trouble. A telescope smashes which releases a man. At the San Fransisco dock, a man appears out of the mist and heads into a bar, he stands in a puddle if water and it freezes, the bar then freezes, he shouts the name ""Carolyn"" and then collapses. He has been taken to the local hospital. There, the machines freeze, and the hospital beds also freeze. There is a sort of mini earthquake. Rachel arrives at the hospital to examine him. The Doc shows Rachel a book that he had in him, a 19th Century book in perfect condition. Rachel briefly meets him, but he escapes. He runs out of the hospital and notices a toy boat in a shop window, he begins to have visions of the trouble ship from the start of the ep. Rachel and Alex, go to the dock/bar where this man collapsed. There is another mini-earthquake, Rachel knows that he is near-by. They meet up with him, and Rachel tells him that she will help him remember his past. They call him John Doe.

Alex has telephoned Derek and Nick and told them where Julia is. They headed to the antique store looking for her. Meanwhile, the possessed antique store owner goes to Rachels place. He tells her that he has fixed the box. She opens it and a bright white light emerges, appearing to hypnotize Rachel. The antique owner then turns into Rachels dead husband, Patrick. The two of them proceed to kiss and eventually have sex. However, during sex, he changes back into his original form. Rachel screams and Derek and Nick, who are close by, hear her screams. When Nick bursts in Rachels room, the demon runs, Nick pursues it into a field and kills it. Once the demon is destroyed, Nick glances over to a cross placed in the middle of the field. When he gets closer, he notices that it is Julia on the cross, - dead. Nick breaks down in tears.

An old friend of Derek and Sloan's dies in Canada. After the funeral they think that more is involved than the authorities think. A fellow professor is snooping around, they find notes written in a language the three of them created many years ago, Derek keeps getting weird flashes and Serena, the friends wife, keeps seeing a strange creature in the triangular pond in the garden. All these things lead to Derek and Sloan staying in Canada longer than they had intended so they can investigate.

Dr. Cornell, a reknowned geneticist working at San Francisco University, is scared to death and then literally ripped apartby an unknown energy. The Legacy gets involved when a friend of Nick's who performed the autopsy calls him in. In a connecting incident Derek is investigating why a large number of church bells all rang themselves at 10.06pm the night before.

A small girl has a horrifying experience at a private school and accuses one of the teachers of being a monster. As Rachel used to go to the school the headmistress calls her up to ask her for help. She hopes that Rachel will be able to find out what really happened before the school is ruined by the scandal. As she investigates Rachel realises that she has no memories of being at the school at all! She knows she went there but can remember nothing and that begins to really worry her.

An amulet is stolen from the Legacy house. It once belonged to a cult leader and suspected sorcerer who was killed by Nick's father, also a member of the Legacy. The two brothers who stole it are the sons of Levon Zoltar, the cult leader, and they know how to release the magical powers held in the amulet. Magics that need a human sacrifice to power them!

The episode begins in a Catholic school. A geek is being bullied by the school jock, Brad, in the library. The geek manages to evade Brad and finds an ancient black magic book. Later Joe (the geek) and two of his friends enter a morgue. They find a jar with a preserved hand inside, they take the handout and lay it on the floor. They light candles around it and perform a ritual. Slowly, the hand comes to life, the other two run off, Joe stays. The next day, at the Legacy House, Philip is asked to go to a school, where a faculty member has vanished without a trace in the last 24 hours. At the school, the two boys who were with Joe seemed shocked and a bit frightened still. Joe, on the other hand, seems extremely calm. Philip prepares to leave for the school when Nick tells him that he is going to. (Nick wanted to work with Philip on his last mission as part of the Legacy). At the school, a new teacher arrives (to cover for the missing teacher), he introduces himself as Mr.

Liz Barrow, an old friend of Nicks, is with her fiance when she has an asthma attack and falls into a coma. She finds herself in a dark mysterious place and sees a young boy killed by a large monstrous shape. At that moment she awkes and watches as the boy in the next bed, the same boy from her 'dream', dies. She gets her fiance, Kevin. to contact Nick and get him to iunvestigate the hospital. Hoping he can find out what is going on there before she to falls vitim to the monster in her dreams.

The episode begins in a religious driven small village. a church service has just ended, and a man makes a run for the woods. He finds a bridge in the woods and begins to cross it, as he crosses the bridge he gets stopped by some strange invisible force. On the bridge a Reverend approaches him, places his hand on the man's forehead, which kills him. (Obviously, people are not allowed to leave the village). At the Legacy House, Nick comes in the conference room and tells Derek that he has uncovered some information on a lost colony from 50 years ago. Nick wants to investigate what happened to it. Derek persuades Nick to take Rachel along. We find that Rachel has had some kind of mid-life breakdown, she can't seem to handle and understand what she has witnessed in the last several weeks. She reluctantly agrees to go with him. Nick and Rachel approach the bridge which the man at the start of the episode, died on. They cross the bridge and enter some kind of portal.

A psychic/supernatural occurence debunker and physicist, Dr. David Praeger, is working for the army at an old railway station & tunnel in Powderwash, Colorado. The army is planning on opening a nerve weapon disposal site nearby and he is there to find out what causes the magnetic fluctations in the area. While investigating he starts seeing the 'ghost' of a signalman telling him to 'pull the switch'. Alex finds out where he is after dreaming that he is in danger and, as much as they dislike the man's work the Legacy go to try and save him.

Corvus was put to death but the murders continue...Alex forms an alliance with one of the victim's fiance and vows they will find her killer. Derek and Nick trail a reporter on a scoop to find the killer and a close encounter with an early demise of her own...as Rachel becomes to object of the Harvester's obsession. The team must come together with all their new found information and find were this new killer keeps his layer in order to stop him before they lose one of their own to his monsterosities.

A mysterious White haired lady narrates this clip show meant to be a season ending cliff hanger. Foes from episodes past show up once again as examples of how the team's good work hasn't managed to overcome the evil that follows. Their work is hidden behind self righteous acts of hypocrisy the Lady claims as she urges one of the team members to join them...and at the end it seems she's succeeded...

Kristin in her continuing quest to find her father enlists Rachel's help. Together the two visit a Sanatorium that leads them to Sommerville. Unknown to them is the fact Sommerville was once a Japanase American concentration camp and that one of its former prisoners is about to imprison them. Rachel and Kristin must work together to form an escape plan while Nick and Derek quickly work from the outside to save the rest of their team.

While Derek,Alex and Rachel investigate the death of a young nun,Nick tries to deal with his brothers death

A psychiatric patient of Rachel's attacks her during a session as time progresses Rachel becomes aggressive and exceedingly paranoid. The rest of the team try to help by investigating but she keeps pushing them away. Soon they have no choice but to step in and force Rachel to again come to terms with her demons before its too late.

Driving down a foggy, dark road Nick and Alex nearly run down Derek. They leave their car to find out what is going on only to have Derek pull a gun on them, argue with himself about shooting his friends and then pulls the trigger on himself. With Derek critical in the Rose County Hospital, the head of the London house, William Sloan, turns up to take charge. They continue with the investigation that Derek was involved in, in Rose County itself, trying to find out what is causing the large number of suicides that have been occuring around the town. With Derek in critical condition Alex, Nick and Sloan need to do this quickly, before Derek gets the chance to finish off what he started.

The episode begins with Nick in a bar. There is a couple sitting next to him. They begin to have an argument. Nick begins to talk to the woman, and her boyfriend gets jealous. Nick and the boyfriend get into a fight, Nick punches him to the ground. The couple then leave. On their way home in the car, Jerry starts slapping Wendy, she gets out of the car and walks away, he reverses into her and places her in the car boot. He then pushes the car over a cliff. Several months later, Nick is driving up that same road. He sees a woman standing in the middle of the road. He gives her a ride. He recognizes her from the bar. The next morning (they were driving all night), Nick drops her off at a Caravan site, however, she disappears. Nick asks this elderly couple if they have seen her. The couple tell Nick that Wendy has been dead for five months. Nick looks shocked! At the Legacy House, Derek and Rachel discover a secret room behind a cupboard. They find a statue of Jesus Christ.

Miranda Blake, the curator of one of the Legacy's museums, calls Derek when there is a break in at her workplace. When Alex checks the inventory she realises that the only thing missing is The Bell of Giradius, a mystical item reputed to bring the dead back to life. The questions the Legacy need to find out are where is the Bell, who took it and does the recent death of Miranda's fiance have anything to do with it's disappearance?

While checking down in the sewers a couple of city maintenance men find an ancient urn holding ashes. One of them tips the ashes out and continues on with his work. After the two men separate to work in different areasone of them is attacked by a ghostly Chinese woman. The next morning the Legacy gets a call from a Chinese friend who asks them to help investigate the circumstances behind the two missing maintenance workers.

The legacy investigates a series of murders of all male victims who are found naked. While it seems to be a sex crime, the team realizes that a creature called a succubus, is assuming their former lover's identities to kill them.

A young man is mysteriously killed while at a well known local spot, a place where a woman was lynched in the 50's. His skull is crushed, but not his head, and his body is covered with what looks like electrical burns. The coroner is an old aquaintence of Dereks and he asks if Derek will come and help. He takes Kristin with him and they find a small town with a deep, dark secret.

A patient of Rachel's mysteriously vanishes after their last session and bequeaths her a beautiful but odd painting. After learning more about the young woman's disappearance and the history behind the painting itself the team becomes convinced it must be destroyed. Kat's new friend decides to teach Kat the art of the craft and Kat learns new secrets about herself in the process but puts an old friend's life in danger.

Alex's grandmother travels to San Francisco to warn her of an evil spirit/Bocor thatis after her. She gives Alex a magic charm to protect her but falls pray to the Bocor's voodoo powers herself. With her grandmother now in a coma Alex does the only thing she can think of to help her... she releases Daniel Euwara, a powerful spirit, from the prison the Legacy trapped him in (see 'Spirit Thief')and asks him to remove the curse.

Alex wrestles with the guilt and grief of losing her Grandmother as Rose's spirit urges her to save another from the same fate. The spirit of a young boy drowned years prior has returned to seek revenge on another and Alex must help convince the boy to resist vengeance and move on.

Horton's plans to split The Legacy apart and destroy Derek begins to work as Kristin walks out and with Mordecai Church at his side he has a powerful ally to help him finish of the rest of the team. With the Boston chapter of The Legacy being almost non-existant now it is left to Derek and Nick to find out what the evil duo are up to and stop them. They try to persuade Father Callaghan, who has been helping them out, to rejoin their fight against Horton and Church and to save The Legacy from destruction.

A couple of fisherman catch something big and heavy on their anchor. Unknowingly they have released Karen Morgan, a succubus who is in love with Nick. She uses another name and disguises herself to 'fall in love' with Nicks friend and then starts to visit Rachel at her Doctor's office. She uses both of them to make sure that she gets introduced to Nick. Meanwhile, to keep herself alive, she is finding violent men on the streets of San Francisco and sucking the life from them.

Derek's lover (Megan) is murdered in a car bombing and he and Alex pursue the killer, only to be drawn into a horrifying web of Horton's making that pits Derek and Alex against each other ? Can Derek bring himself to kill Alex or can he defeat Horton once and for all ?

Alex returns after an unexpected sabbatical as the team turns on Derek when an old case is re-opened. The twenty year old evidence begins pointing towards Derek as a cold blooded killer and old witnesses can no longer rely on their own accounts to save him. As he stands firm in his innocence those closest to him, except for one, lose all confidence in their friend, mentor and Precept.

Franklin Cross begins his takeover of the San Francisco house of the Legacy. The team are not sure what is going on, where Derek is or whether or not to trust Cross. The investigations into Reed Horton continue while the team try to find out what has happened to Derek themselves.

Nick's brother, Jeremy, who died and was cremated, appears on the road in front of Nicks car. He claims to have 'escaped' and has The Soul Chaser after him trying to take him back. After a brief altercation with The Soul Chaser Nick takes the wounded Jimmy back to the Legacy HQ with him, believing the Soul Chaser to have been killed by his own weapon. The Soul Chaser returns to our world though and tracks down the brothers. He launches an attack on the Legacy house to finally retrieve his quarry.

Kat is doing magic with her friend Miranda, who has shown her a few small tricks and has taken her to her secret place. Miranda tells Kat that if she touches the amulet she has given her to the heart of three other poeple then the five points of power will increase her magical prowess. Rachel, Nick and Alex are her three targets but they know something is going on. Can they find out what Miranda is up to before it is to late to save Kat?

A mysterious bottle is found by Milos Javitz in an old curio shop. he thinks that it could be an item that he has been searching for for years, a bottle containing Ginelle, a female genie. Before he can complete his three wishes after releasing her he is tricked into closing his eyes. She knocks him out and escapes to gain revenge on her past 'owners' who refused to release her from her cptivity. To help him find her, and to save himself from her anger, Milos calls on his old college roomate... Derek Rayne.

Excavations in boston discover what loks like a tomb buried deep underground. The digging has made an opening and when the builders examine it they release Dr. Mordecai Church from his long imprisonment. He kills them and sets about starting his own 'religion', recruiting young runaways as his congregation. Having no family makes leaves Church free to kill his new disciples whenever he wishes, after all who is there to complain when no one knows where they are anyway? Reed Horton soon comes across Church and recruits him for his own vendetta against The Legacy.

Rachel recieves a blast from the bast. While watching an old home-video Kat notices a little girl in the video that had never been there before. It turns out the little girl is named Paige, Rachels child she gave up when she was 19. Paige died some years later and is now out for revenge on Rachel, who she blames Rachel for not being there to save her. Can Nick prevent Paige from hurting Kat ? Can Rachel re-connect with Kat after this discovery, that Kat has a sister ?

We begin with a priest, who has sent a young lad on a mission to find out information about the Legacy House. The young lad returns with news that a gate way to hell is buried under the Legacy House. The Priest then kills the lad, as he now has what he was after. The priest sets out to be-friend Alex and Rachel (Nick and Derek are not present in this episode). He makes his way into the House where he tells them that the Gateway must be sealed, if it is not, he tells them, Rachels daughter Kat will be killed as she has been struck down with a mysterious virus. As Alex and the Preist make their way underground, the Priest attacks Alex and proceeds to make his way to find the gate and open it. Upstairs, Rachel sees Kristen, who is now an angel, who has been sent to try to stop the opening of the gate. She instructs Rachel to go and stop the priest and to have faith, no matter what. As Rachel finds Alex, they both proceed to the gate, the Priest is about to open it when he notices Rache

A patient of Rachels with a tragic past and with a life threatening asthmatic condition inherits her family mansion and becomes the target for seemingly vengeful ghosts, demons and spirits.

Kat faces mortal danger when she resumes her friendship with an ailing Miranda. To save Kat, Rachel must find powers from the past, a past she would prefer to forget. For this episode, we learn that Miranda wants to transform herself into Kat - to inhabit Kats body. To live in Kats body. After the opening credits, Kat and Rachel have an argument and Derek tries to persuade Kat to give up magic - she disobeys, obviously. After a ritual between Miranda and Kat, Miranda tricks Kat and Miranda transfers her soul into Kats body - but before she does, Miranda reveals her true self - elderly, dying old women who has been searching for the perfect body to transfer into. Miranda is now in control of Kat.

Alex struggles to cure Nick, and has to keep him alive, after he is infected by a Denomic parasite which makes him see evil all around him. The episode begins with Alex working in the control room when Nick bursts in through the front door. He chases after Alex, trying to kill her. She manages to find a torch and smashes it off his head and knocks him out. She ties him to his bed. He wakes up and threatens to kill her, constantly shouting and screeming that he is going to kill Alex and shouting that he can see evil all around him. We learn that he has been infected by a demon who causes him to hallucinate. This leads Nick to remember events from the last year (evil events), in which he was hurt or people around him were hurt. As Nick remembers the past events, Alex researches the Legacy database and she realises that Nick has the Mephisto Strain. With the hepl of the Database, Alex finda a cure, which heals Nick.

Members of the Barnard family have been dying, all under mysterious circumstances. When Rachel gets the Legacy involved to protect her old family friends, they soon realise that everything comes back to Todd's romance with Angela Sanchez, and her grandmother's pain.

After a freed cop killer is killed Derek and the team investigate when it becomes obvious it was a ritualistic murder. More importantly, the murder was done using an artifact stolen from a Legacy collection on display by a former member. Though, Det. Carmack is set against allowing the team to help he has no choice as the Legacy is set on solving the case and retrieving their stolen property. Soon the investigation leads Derek to a truth he had secretly hoped wasn't the truth...

Kat is on the job when the team is put in charge of cataloging and disbursing the bequeathed estate of Hanney Ellen Keane and Derek makes a grave error. Taking a few drinks from a cursed Irish Jug causes two ne'er-do-wellers escape from the Jug and possess Derek and Milo. Once the boys realize what year they're in and the fortune the one called Derek possesses they soon decide to stay awhile but before they can enjoy the riches they must get rid of the women. Being the only one that sees the two impostors for what they are Kat must think quickly and convince Alex to help her as Rachel is nowhere to be found.

Kristin is reunited with her first love, world famous concert pianist, Eugene Kadar. The reunion is bittersweet as people that could influence Eugene's career begin mysteriously dying of heart attacks and his agent becomes even more controlling. Kristin chooses to ignore the problem and live her love with Eugene to the fullest until Eugene begins to spin out of control. Derek and Nick are to the rescue but Eugene may already be lost...

A bolt of lighting strikes an autistic young man and returns him to normal. Nick and Derek investigate when the young man quickly grows into a genius and people around him start losing their health and intelligence...including Alex.

Jeffrey Starr returns to San Francisco and his old tricks but when a psychic intervention goes awry the Legacy is called in to help. Reluctant to help Derek gives in when it becomes clear that Jeffery's life is in more danger than they first realized.

Once again on her quest for answers relating to her father's disappearance Kristin is on a mission. After receiving a map of the Holy Land written in archaic French and a cryptic message to meet in Istanbul Kristin is off on her own. The Legacy team must decipher the clues left on the map in order to find her and help her bring to a close a painful chapter in her life.

The Legacy is under siege and their assailants are unknown. Alex has gone for help, Nick has been taken down and away by their attackers leaving only Derek to decipher who's behind their attack. As he remembers past foes who may have come back for revenge Derek searches for Nick and guards his own back from threat. Further into his search the clues to who is trying to bring them down becomes obviously clear when Alex returns not quite herself and Derek comes face to face with the foe he should have known all along.
