LAI worries a lot for SHU who has disappeared for several days. She regrets that she was too strict to him in the past. However, she treats him the same when he has returned home. YAN is not used to be treated by woman like that, he leaves home angrily. YAN bursts into a nightclub. He is very curious and makes a lot of fun. MEI works in the nightclub as a part-time club girl. She meets YAN and immediately reports to LAI. LAI is very angry. LAI and BO see that SHU (YAN) has changed a lot after his disappearance. They think that he is so irritated that he has suffered from nervous breakdown. Thus, they tolerate him and hope that he could recover. SHU enjoys his luxurious life in the island. However, he gradually finds boring. He then teaches the servant to play mahjong. They are very curious for that. LAI has invited her colleagues to her house for dinner. MEI is so angry that she locks TSUEN and SHU up in the mezzanine in the shoe shop. YAN feels annoyed to be locked up and tries to climb down. He has fallen down carelessly and gets hurt. He is then being sent to the hospital. LAl hurries to the hospital but YAN is cool to her. LAl is very angry. LAl has to tolerate his superior's unreasonable and demanding request in the company, she also has to tolerate YAN at home. She is very downcast. When BO witnesses the situation, she sympathizes LAl. BO waits upon a chance to teach YAN a lesson.… ...

When YAN has heard the news in Hong Kong, he is shocked. He has also known that someone wants to kill him. SHU is the scapegoat. YAN is very sad but he cannot tell anyone his grievance. The international cop, Peter Lau, is assigned' to investigate SHU is case and is being sent to Hong Kong. He goes to find YAN and knows that YAN and SHU have exchanged their identities. He advises YAN to stay in Hong Kong and disguises as SHU in order to be saved. The cop will then investigate the case. According to VAN's will, his younger brother will succeed a large part of his property with the condition that he has to take care SEE and his family. LAI is very excited when she heard the news. She spends her own money lavishly. She even quits her present job and aims at living extravagantly. However, the solicitor announces that they cannot inherit the legacy for the moment. LAI is very disappointed.… ...

LAI cannot tolerate SEE who is too obedient, she then takes a chance to guide her. However, she is feudalized with the Island custom and cannot make any change. LAI has no other way out. LOK witnesses that BO takes good care of WAR. Re thinks that their relation is quite subtle. Re is very nosy and always teases them. LAI sees that her change could not win back YAN. She and BO thus devise to match SEE with the new shoe-shop owner LEE TANG TIN. YAN knows that TIN is keen on courting SEE. YAN feels very distasteful. Unexpectedly, TIN expresses that he aims on WAH instead. WAH refuses TIN. TIN increases the rent tremendously in revenge. In order to restore the general situation, WAH sacrifices himself and flatters TIN and requests TIN not to increase the rent. However, TIN has already got acquainted with another guy. WAH is very disappointed. Peter Lau is born lazy and muddled. He has no clue. When YAN questions him about the murdering case, he lies in order to save his face. YAN is forced to work as a security guard in order to earn a living. He meets his ex-subordinate, CHA BAO, who appears as a millionaire from the South East Asia. BAO holds a pearl exhibition. YAN suspects him to be the murderer as he suddenly came rich. YAN wants to inform PETER LAU the case. However, PETER thinks that YAN wants to ask him for money. Thus, he keeps away from YAN. LAI threatens YAN to divorce but still could not change YAN's attitude. LAI then proposes to be economically independent. VAN's income falls short of the expenditure and lives very hard. SEE is willing to share the family responsibility. She applies for a job in the hotel. However, she is inexperience and is not employed. Later, the personnel appreciates her sincerity and employs her as the odd-job lady. YAN keeps on investigate CHA BAO and finds out that his ex?-wife, HUNG DO, has followed BAO. The hotel Manager passes by and hears what he has discussed. The Manager requests him to conduct a lecture regarding the knowledge in food for the guest. There is a guest, WAN CHEONG, who is in charge of top banquet" services. He questions YAN a lot but YAN could answer him shrewdly. CHEONG is responsible in training the hotel staff. He has fallen in love with SEE for the first sight. SEE recommends LAI to be CHEONG's secretary. LAI meets SO again and he speaks ill of her. LAI thinks that she has lost the chance for promotion and expresses her feeling. Unexpectedly, CHEONG appreciates her character and trusts her a lot.

YAN cannot control himself and always expresses his love to SEE. SEE suggests to move out the MAO's family. LAI supports. SEE finds a new home with CHEONG's help. YAN begs SEE to stay. MEI finds that WAH is a burden and claims that he is actually not her flesh and blood brother. She decides not to take care of him. WAH is very angry and wants to live on his own.… ...

The relation between CHEONG and SEE is very stable, CHEONG thinks that it is the right time for him to ask SEE marry him. YAN tries to stop them but is in vain. YAN then tells SEE his real identity. SEE awakes and promises YAN to keep the secret. YAN urges PETER LAU to find out the murderer as soon as he can. YAN could then get back his property and settle down in the island with SEE. SEE manages between YAN and CHEONG. She finds herself in a dilemma. Moreover, she finds that YAN is very lazy and does nothing. She persuades YAN to reform himself. YAN then makes up his mind to live on his own foot. BO finds that YAN dates SEE openly. She is very angry with him. LAI and BO then try to destroy YAN and SEE's relation.

YAN is keen on developing his career. With Uncle YUK’s encouragement and advice, he participates in catering business. LAI finds that YAN has become very positive. She decides to help him in developing his business. She hopes that it could help to restore their old relation. WAH dares not to express his love to BO directly. He secretly writes a love letter and sends it to her indirectly. Unexpectedly, LAI reads the letter and thinks that it is sent buy YAN. She misunderstands that YAN intents to restore their old relation. CHEONG has left Hong Kong for a business trip. LAI takes this opportunity to transfer his business to YAN. When CHEONG knows the case, he rebukes. In order to irritate YAN, LAI goes to seek for another marriage. She meets a gentleman who is very mean and creates a lot of fun. LAI by chance discovers that SEE has set up a tablet for SHU. She begins to suspect YAN's identity. She sends WAR to investigate.… ...

LAI is so irritated that she is immediately fainted. She is then being sent to the hospital. She even suffers from nervous breakdown. BO worries a lot. YAN feels very sorry and tries his best to take care her. However, LAI is so hurt that she cannot recover quickly. When YAN and PETER LAU are pressing for finding out the real murderer, they discover that LOK is keen on reading some books related to explosive compound. They suspect LOK to be the murderer. After thorough investigation, they eventually find out that LAM HEUNG FA (SEE's mother) is the murderer. YAN's grandfather has swindled money and wealth out of FA's father. FA's father then died in misery and grief. FA then takes revenge. She arranges SEE to marry YAN and hopes that she could get back YAN' s property. Later, she waits upon a chance to kill YAN but is in vain. She has killed SHU instead. She is very disappointed and she again waits upon another chance to kill YAN.

FA tells SEE the enmity between the MAO's family and their family. She forces SEE to give up YAN. She even asks SEE to stand by her and confront against YAN. SEE is being put into a dilemma. FA has put some poison into the soup. SEE tries to stop YAN swallow the soup. PETER LAU misunderstands that SEE is the murderer. SEE is difficult to get at the truth. BO finds that LAI’s condition is getting worse. She then tries to find out the murderer for the sake of her sister. FA continues to plot against YAN but is useless. SHU appears in emergency. All of them are great surprised. In fact, SHU has escaped from death in the plane-crash. He is left in a remote island. He can eventually back to Hong Kong. SHU meets LAI and finds a that she can suppress her temper. YAN and SHU then tell the public their real identity........
