A little Dogen Zen priest discovers the seriously injured child CHOR YAT-CHIN lying at their door. His mentor LOK MO-NGAI rescues YAT-CHIN. YAT-CHIN wants MO-NGAI to be his mentor. MO-NGAI finds YAT-CHIN a smart boy. He allows him to stay there but refuses to take him as his disciple. Eighteen years later, YAT-CHIN arrives at Ma Heung Town during the Seven Sister's Festival. The boss of "Bao Ho Mei seizes" the chance to increase the prices significantly. WAN TIN-BONG dislikes it and he plays tricks on them. CHING YING-HUNG, the head constable of Ma Heung Town, learns that The Four Dragons of Ryukyu will be committing crime during the festival. He ambushes at the hill with his subordinates but The Four Dragons of Ryukyu have already robbed Tai Tung Bank and they even capture the villagers as their hostages. YAT-CHIN hides in the crowd. FUNG NGAN dies in the prison. YING-HUNG believes that FUNG NGAN has committed suicide but YAT-CHIN doesn't think so. FOON HEI goes to the back side of a shadow play screen and she plays a pair of shadow butterflies. When seeing the shadow butterflies, YAT-CHIN recalls the time when he tried to escape with SHEK from a Liar Group but they were discovered eventually. WAN TIN-BONG discovers that FAVUS BOY is holding a blood-stained knife. He suddenly sees a scene of "Divine Secret" and realizes that he should help FAVUS BOY to escape. The waiter at Butterfly Restaurant believes that TIN-BONG has killed their Mayor. SAI CHIU and the other constables arrive to chase after TIN-BONG. They decide to give up when arriving at Kau Lau Village. TIN-BONG returns to his workplace at Chun Fa Bathhouse. His lady boss CHUN-FA finds him abnormal. The Deputy Mayor and the tycoon in town WOON TIN-SANG go to the Yamen to pressure YING-HUNG.… ...

FOON HEI agrees to help YAT-CHIN entering Kau Lau Village. After rescuing others, TIN-BONG keeps seeing butterflies and he is worried. YAT-CHIN disguises himself and enters East Kau Lau Inn. BIG TWIN recognizes that he is a foreigner and brings him to the entertainment venue. SIU-HING and SIU-YUK serve YAT-CHIN enthusiastically. However, the subordinates of East Kau Lau's leader PAK YAT-YAT discover that YAT-CHIN is not a foreigner and they chase after him. The Four Scallion Sisters rescue YAT-CHIN and bring him home. FOON SHU asks him to hide away in their place first. YING-HUNG learns that YAT-CHIN has entered Kau Lau Village secretly and he decides to fire him. YAT-CHIN runs away to Pleasure House. SIU-HING and SIU-YUK rescue him. YAT-CHIN learns that TIN-BONG is the suspect and he goes to arrest him at the bathhouse.… ...

Eighteen years ago, TIN-BONG rescued YAT-CHIN and he put him outside the place where the Dogen Zen priests lived. TIN-BONG was trying to kill LAW KEUNG but he discovered that LAW KEUNG had died already. He then saw a scene of "Divine Secret" that CHAN AH-SUM who queued up behind him would die. TIN-BONG didn't know what to do. He followed the butterfly all the way to Chun Fa Bathhouse at Ma Heung Town and he begged the lady boss CHUN FA to hire him. FOON HEI goes to East Kau Lau Inn alone to apologize to PAK YAT-YAT. She requests to give her three days to capture YAT-CHIN. FOON HEI tries to meditate like YAT-CHIN and she suddenly discovers a way to keep contact with him. YAT-CHIN and TIN-BONG go to Lau Toi together. TIN-BONG discovers FAVUS BOY and YING-HUNG discovers TIN-BONG. YING-HUNG and his subordinates surround TIN-BONG. YAT-CHIN reveals that they will know that TIN-BONG is not the murderer when they find FAVUS BOY.… ...

Master PAK from Kau Lau Village sends a golden pig to East Kau Lau to tease YAT-YAT for not able to capture YAT-CHIN. BIG TWIN and LITTLE TWIN suddenly arrive with gifts to divert YAT-YAT's attention so that the Three Scallion Sisters can rescue FOON SHU. FOON SIU successfully abducts YAT-YAT but YAT-YAT's son HOK-YEE ruins her plan. All the Three Scallion Sisters are captured. FOON HEI misses her three sisters and FOON SHU. She cries while eating butterfly biscuits. YAT-CHIN reveals that he understands her. In order to gain control of the whole Kau Lau Village, Master PAK colludes with the Deputy Mayor and TIN-SANG. When Master PAK is gone, TIN-SANG meets up with TAI-PING. TAI-PING is TIN-SANG's younger brother and he helps TIN-SANG to commit crimes secretly. YING-HUNG investigates the dead body of the Mayor and he discovers something suspicious.… ...

YAT-YAT invites the villagers from Kau Lau Village to come and witness the scene of hanging YAT-CHIN. Afterwards, he celebrates with his son and offers sacrifice to his deceased wife. TAI-PING tries to kill YAT-YAT but TIN-BONG and YAT-CHIN arrive to rescue him. YAT-YAT is very grateful to YAT-CHIN but YAT-CHIN only wants him to release FOON SHU and the Four Scallion Sisters. YING-HUNG asks Mrs MA to provide more details of the time when the Mayor was killed but Mrs MA answers evasively. YAT-CHIN and TIN-BONG bring FAVUS BOY to the Yamen. FAVUS BOY reveals how he discovered the dead body of the Mayor. YAT-CHIN knows that he has been fired and he asks if he could leave after capturing the murderer. TAI-PING surrenders himself at the Yamen. He admits that he has killed FUNG NGAN and the Mayor. YING-HUNG decides not to ponder about the reason behind and he wants to close the file. YAT-YAT organizes a thank you banquet for YAT-CHIN.… ...

FOON HEI, YAT-CHIN and TIN-BONG say goodbye to FAVUS BOY. They try to give him a new name. FOON HEI asks YAT-CHIN why he has got this name. TIN-BONG expresses his views on it and it is very similar with what YAT-CHIN's mentor thought. A very skillful white haired doctor arrives at Ma Heung Town. SIU-HING and SIU-YUK bring FOON SHU to visit him. FOON TIM and FOON CHING also hope that the doctor can cure their illnesses. However, the doctor finds that FOON HEI has got some health problems instead and he wants to feel her pulse but FOON HEI rejects him. FOON SHU wants to allocate her money to the four sisters and he wants FOON HEI to keep the jade pendant for her. She reveals that the jade pendant was divided into five pieces and the other four pieces of jade pendants are kept by her children. FOON SHU reveals to the four sisters how she has lost her children thirty years ago. FOON HEI asks YAT-CHIN to help finding FOON SHU's children.

FOON HEI and the others try to look for FOON SHU's children everywhere. They also ask YAT-CHIN to help finding the man who sold the jade pendant. MA CHIU loves gambling but YAT-CHIN discovers that he has paid all his debts suddenly. YING-HUNG believes that they will know the truth after finding MA CHIU. He also reveals that the imperial court has decided to give TAI-PING a death sentence. TIN-SANG worries that the constables will find MA CHIU and ruin his plan. He hints to the Deputy Mayor that he should settle the issue. While chasing after MA CHIU, TIN-BONG suddenly sees a Divine Secret scene of MA CHIU being killed. When the prison's guards order TAI-PING to take off all his belongings, YAT-CHIN discovers that TAI-PING is keeping a jade pendant exactly the same as the one owned by FOON SHU and MA CHIU. YING-HUNG learns that some people will come to rescue TAI-PING and YAT-CHIN reveals that he has a way to solve the problem.… ...

CHUN-FA asks TIN-BONG if he has saw her in the Divine Secret scene and TIN-BONG is worried. TIN-SANG reveals to Master PAK that somebody had attacked the prisoner's cart and Master PAK admits that it was arranged by him. Fourteen dead bodies are found on the hill and these people had died for over twenty days already. YING-HUNG recalls that Fung Wan Security Company was trying to transport some government money to Ma Heung Town twenty eight days ago and he believes that these are the guards. YAT-CHIN suddenly realizes that those guards were killed on the same day when Tai Tung Bank was robbed. After investigation, YAT-CHIN reveals that the town government doesn't know that the central government has sent a large amount of money to Ma Heung Town. YAT-CHIN believes that somebody has taken the money. FOON HEI discovers that the white haired doctor is looking at SAU-SZ's home all the time.… ...

TIN-SANG and a few competitors join the Mayoral Election and each of them is going to give a presentation. When TIN-SANG is presenting, he is hurt by an arrow suddenly. TIN-BONG learns from the Divine Secret scene that YAT-CHIN will be attacked. He starts a fight with the killer and collapses. YAT-CHIN helps to treat his wound and he discovers a big scar on TIN-BONG's back. YAT-CHIN reveals to YING-HUNG that the arrow is suspicious. They believe that one of TIN-SANG's competitors is trying to kill him. YAT-CHIN sees LIANG SHANBO and ZHU YINGTAI in his dream. After waking up, he has a serious headache. TAI-PING discovers that FOON SHU is looking for her children from the painted notice. He discovers that the jade pendant in the notice is the same as the one he is keeping and he wants to question his elder brother. HOK-YEE sneaks out secretly and FOON SIU brings him to eat water melon together. HOK-YEE teaches her to write in return.… ...

FOON HEI goes to the pavilion to check out her wound and YAT-CHIN arrives coincidentally. YAT-CHIN invites FOON HEI to swear in front of the statue of Liang Zhu that they will become brother and sister. FOON HEI is sad and she cries silently in the night. YAT-CHIN dreams of LIANG SHANBO and ZHU YINGTAI again. Afterwards, hair starts coming out from his head. YAT-CHIN has a headache all the time. WAN YAU keeps looking at YAT-CHIN and YING-HUNG feels that WAN YAU cares about YAT-CHIN very much. YAT-CHIN passes by Hung Law School. He meets WU DIP and he has got some special feelings on her. WU DIP is captured by a masked man on the horse. YING-HUNG learns about it and he carries out investigation at WU's home. The old housekeeper Uncle CHUEN reveals that WU DIP was lost once when she was five years old.… ...

YING-HUNG and the others visit the WU's family again. Master WU asks YING-HUNG not to continue his investigation. YING-HUNG questions him and Master WU finally reveals that he has got a letter from the kidnapper. YAT-CHIN reveals that he has got a headache all the time and he always have strange dreams that he cannot sleep well. FOON HEI helps him and YAT-CHIN can fall asleep eventually. YING-HUNG and the others discover that AH-MING owes a big debt. They also discover that WU DIP has been engaged for four times. YAT-CHIN goes to Kau Lau Village to look for AH-CHUM. He wants him to check if WU DIP is around and he offers him the rewards from YING-HUNG. YAT-CHIN looks for TIN-BONG and TIN-BONG recognizes WU DIP immediately from the picture. YAT-CHIN says that he is having hair suddenly and he believes that this is related to TIN-BONG's scar. YAT-CHIN reveals that he has become sworn brother and sister with FOON HEI because of WU DIP.… ...

TIN-BONG discovers NGAN-YEE coming out from the house and he suddenly sees a Divine Secret scene. FOON TIM's birthday is on the Mid-Autumn Festival. FOON SHU and the other three sisters celebrate with her at home. FOON SIU requests to have dinner and to play mahjong earlier so that she could date with HOK-YEE afterwards. AH-MING returns home. YING-HUNG learns that he has been hiding in the brothel for three days to escape from his creditors and he believes that AH-MING is not the kidnapper. YAT-CHIN follows NGAN-YEE but he discovers nothing. HOK-YEE teaches FOON SIU to write and he declares his love to her under the moonlight. Master WU receives a second letter from the kidnapper and he decides to offer the ransom money to the kidnapper. YING-HUNG feels that the kidnapper knows the WU's family really well. The constables discover AH-FEI's dead body as well as a letter to Master WU and a piece of jade.… ...

YAT-CHIN hears the gong's sound and he goes to look for FOON HEI. FOON HEI reveals that TIN-BONG has found WU DIP's hiding place. CHUN-FA discovers WU DIP hiding in the changing room. She tries to find out what has happened and she offers help to her. She also shares her past story with WU DIP. TIN-BONG worries about CHUN-FA. He rushes to the bathhouse and discovers CHUN-FU in the pool. WU DIP escapes and hides in HOK-YEE's wardrobe but HOK-YEE discovers her. NGAN-YEE threatens WU DIP. HOK-YEE tries to stop it and he is injured. YAT-CHIN rescues WU DIP and captures TUNG-MUI. NGAN-YEE runs away. AH-CHUM sends TUNG-MUI to YING-HUNG. YING-HUNG reveals to Master WU that WU DIP is safe now and she is taking a rest at the inn. YAT-YAT swears to his deceased wife that he will capture NGAN-YEE...

MO-NGAI and YAT-CHIN recognize each other again. CHUN-FA reveals her past story to TIN-BONG. TIN-BONG believes that CHUN-FA could have started anew after leaving the prison. However, she didn't really give herself a chance and she returned to the bathhouse. YAT-CHIN reveals to TIN-BONG that he has met his mentor again. FOON SIU cries every day and FOON HEI stays with her all the time. YAT-CHIN worries about FOON SIU and he visits her. He reveals that NGAN-YEE and TUNG-MUI might be FOON SHU's daughters. WU DIP blames herself and YAT-CHIN persuades her to return home. YAT-CHIN carries WU DIP on his back to return to WU's house. WU DIP reveals an untold childhood secret to him. The deputy mayor believes that TIN-SANG will become the Mayor and he celebrates with him beforehand. Master PAK tells TIN-SANG that he wants to eliminate YAT-YAT. FOON SHU learns that NGAN-YEE is her daughter and she begs YAT-YAT to give NGAN-YEE a second chance...

After recovering, WU DIP returns to the school to teach. YAT-CHIN visits her and Master WU reveals that they are planning to move away from Ma Heung Town. HOK-YEE has died for a few days already but YAT-YAT still holds his dead body tearfully. FOON HEI and FOON TIM accompany FOON SIU all the time. FOON CHING suddenly returns to console FOON SIU as well. FOON CHING reveals that SILENT HERO told her that YAT-YAT wants to kill NGAN-YEE. FOON HEI tries to call YAT-CHIN with gong but YAT-CHIN arrives late. FOON HEI asks YAT-CHIN to help bringing TUNG-MUI to FOON SHU. YAT-CHIN says that TUNG-MUI never admit that NGAN-YEE is her sister. TIN-BONG asks CHUN-FA to close the bathhouse but CHUN-FA insists to stay. Before sunrise, FOON SIU leaves silently without letting everybody know. TIN-SANG becomes the Mayor and he tries to do a lot of good things...

TAI-PING brings the heads of Master NAM and Master SAI to Master PAK. He then kills Master PAK as well. TIN-BONG closes the bathhouse and he urges CHUN-FA to leave Kau Lau Village but CHUN-FA refuses to go. TAI-PING tries to kill YAT-YAT but YAT-CHIN suddenly arrives. SAU-SZ becomes blind completely. MO-NGAI visits her but she doesn't know. FOON HEI and YAT-CHIN visit SAU-SZ. They discover MO-NGAI in the house but they try not to unmask him. MO-NGAI, FOON HEI and YAT-CHIN go to a peach blossom tree together. MO-NGAI reveals that YAT-CHIN has strong connection with both FOON HEI and WU DIP. YAT-CHIN tells FOON HEI that he has met SHEK again. He reveals that he keeps having strange dreams lately and he becomes LIANG SHANBO in those dreams. TAI-PING buys two scallion pancakes. NGAN-YEE is hiding nearby and he gives one to her...

After seeing the divine secret scene, TIN-BONG becomes very emotional. YAT-CHIN and FOON HEI go to look for TIN-BONG at the broken temple. TIN-BONG reveals that he doesn't believe that there is justice in this world anymore. TAI-PING tries to kill YAT-YAT but TIN-BONG suddenly sees a divine secret scene of TAI-PING killing CHUN-FA. YAT-CHIN stops TAI-PING from killing YAT-YAT and TIN-BONG insists to kill TAI-PING. FOON HEI collapses and YAT-CHIN brings her to MO-NGAI for treatments immediately. YING-HUNG tries to analyze the case with YAT-CHIN and WAN YAU. They suspect that TIN-SANG is the man behind the scene. YAT-CHIN believes that TAI-PING is still in Kau Lau Village and he tries to search for him. SAU-SZ finally discovers that MO-NGAI is not FOON HEI and she asks MO-NGAI to tell her his name. MO-NGAI put a seed in her palm. CHUN-FA reveals to YAT-CHIN that she is worried about TIN-BONG.… ...

TIN-SANG organizes a kick-off ceremony for Ma Heung Town Hospital and everybody support him cheerfully. WAN YAU says that the one who requests to be the leader will be the one behind the scene. However, YING-HUNG says that there is no evidence for further investigation. TAI-PING meets up with TIN-SANG. TAI-PING reveals that he has met their mother already and he wants TIN-SANG to have dinner with their mother. He says that if TIN-SANG refuses to go, he will not give him the government money. TIN-SANG agrees to go reluctantly. TUNG-MUI is being touched and she agrees to eat the scallion pancake that YAT-CHIN brought to her. TAI-PING reunites with NGAN-YEE after discovering her jade pendant. After dinner, the guards come to take TUNG-MUI and NGAN-YEE away. They have to leave their mother again and all of them cry sadly. YAT-CHIN suddenly arrives to reveal that the government money is at the Yamen.… ...

YAT-CHIN and FOON HEI say goodbye to TIN-BONG and CHUN-FA. WU DIP accompanies YIN-HEI to wait for her brother outside the school. YAT-CHIN meets WU DIP and he is glad that WU DIP can be herself finally. YAT-CHIN and FOON HEI attend a gathering of the constables. SAI CHIU and PAK SHUI invite FOON HEI to drink together. They call her their sister-in-law and FOON HEI is overjoyed. YING-HUNG reveals that the imperial court has decided to promote YAT-CHIN and he asks everybody to celebrate together. YING-HUNG finally discovers that the one who prepare tea for him every evening is not Madam PING. The Three Scallion Sisters help FOON SHU to make scallion pancakes so that she could bring them to her three children at the prison. SILENT HERO comes to look for FOON CHING. FOON HEI wants to see the butterflies and YAT-CHIN carries her to the tower.… ...
