The Vicar develops an infatuation with the neighbour's son. Michael wants to give back to the world. Adam learns of a daughter he never knew about.

A courtroom drama causes Marley to try and be a better person, but showing emotion doesn't prove easy. Meanwhile a new ghost in town offers Adam, Michael and the Vicar a chance of a new life away from Marley.

So begins a bizarre ménage-a-quatre, with Adam, Michael and the vicar all moving in, albeit in ghostly form, to Marley's haunt, sorry, home. Naturally Marley isn't crazy about this new set up - but all looks rosy again when the ghosts convince her that they're just a figment of her overwrought imagination, and for a moment she really believes they've gone. But, no, these apparitions ain't evaporating - they're going nowhere.

Marley brings in a ghost hunter, but the ghosts aren't making things easy, getting caught up in a robbery and convincing Marley she's going insane.

Marley moves into her new home and receives a visit from a handsome policeman and the local Neighbourhood Watch, while her ex-lover Michael's past comes back to haunt him.

Set against a backdrop of the local nativity play, some shocking news sets Adam and Michael against each other. By the end of this episode, things will never be the same for Marley and her ghosts.
