In the Hoh Rainforest, berry season is beginning...and that means one thing for Mick Dodge - an opportunity to brew up Dodge Family Forest Wine. Based on a secret recipe created by Mick's great grandfather, it's a special concoction his family has produced for generations. As soon as Mick sees the very first berries on the vine, he springs into action, gathering ingredients spread all over the forest.

As winter moves in, legendary wild man Mick Dodge is on an important mission to track down and harvest his main source of food for the coming months — chanterelle mushrooms, a delicacy that appears in the Pacific Northwest only once each year. But Mick knows that he is not the only one after this rare treat. With chanterelles selling for up to $20 per pound in the market, mushroom hunters from all over the world flood the rainforest to cash in on the golden bounty.

Though Mick lives primarily in the wild, he's craving some creature comforts. To satisfy them, he ventures into town and hopes to get in and out undetected. But due to an unexpected detour, Mick may have to go without the creature comforts he's after.

A huge storm is approaching the hoe and Mick takes NO shelter in the most crazy place.

Every year, Mick marks the changing season with a gathering known as the Autumn Harvest. Bringing his fellow forest dwellers together for a feast, Mick takes this opportunity to celebrate brotherhood and the abundance the forest provides. But first, Mick and his friends must utilize their primal skills and resources, in hopes of hunting and gathering enough food from the Hoh for this season's main event.

When a routine river crossing goes wrong Mick loses all of his gear--including his clothes. Though he often dons his birthday suit just for fun, frigid temperatures send him on a mission to replace his lost leathers.

Since Mick Dodge left the modern world behind, he's stashed his belongings all over the Washington wilderness. Now, Mick is relocating hidden stashes to a central forest base camp in preparation for winter. However, things don't go according to plan when Mick discovers some of his stashes have gone missing. Confident it's no coincidence, Mick will stop at nothing to find the culprit responsible.

Mick is fighting a bad case of “Beaver Fever,” an illness that's left his belly aching. For a remedy, he'll rely on a time-tested healing process he's devised using only the forest. The first step is a trip to the forest physician, Doc Gair, who has been living in the woods practicing forest medicine for ages. The two men collect natural ingredients to brew up a cure-all elixir.

Winter is approaching and Mick Dodge knows that he needs supplies to help him weather the cold months ahead. Although the wild provides Mick with most of the tools he needs to survive, there are a few essential items that can only be found in the modern world. With temperatures dropping fast, Mick embarks on his annual trip to Forks, Washington. But in order to get the supplies, Mick will have to ignore his instincts and walk directly into the middle of civilization.

In the Hoh Rainforest, Mick is part of an underground community of pioneers, and when a friend is in need of help, Mick's ready to answer the call. So when the girlfriend of Mick's long-time student, Will of Stone, tracks him down seeking help in finding Will for a serious problem, Mick doesn't hesitate to lend a hand. Will of Stone has been on a rite of passage in the forest for 2 weeks already, so this manhunt will prove no easy feat.

For over three decades, Mick Dodge has lived wild and free in the Hoh Rainforest, and he's got the battle scars to prove it. But with aches and pains beginning to slow him down, Mick will need to do something to get him back in fighting form. He has long admired ancient Native American culture and now he seeks the help from a Makah medicine woman to get a special healing balm few know how to make.

After waking up in the stump of an old tree, Mick sojourns to a remote spot called the Highlands — a place that looks out over the entire valley and holds special significance to his family. The purpose of his journey: to fulfill his father's dying wish by spreading his dad's ashes over the land. But before Mick can carry his dad up to the mountains, he will first have to remember where he stashed him.

July 4th invites the kind of reckless behavior that threatens Mick's home, forcing him to stand guard, keep watch and protect the Hoh Rainforest. As Mick begins his 24-hour vigilance, he runs into a group of campers trashing the forest. Not one to look the other way, Mick prepares for a confrontation... But this encounter is just the beginning. When the sun sets, darkness brings a new danger, as the dry forest comes under fire from all angles.

Encroaching loggers are forcing Mick Dodge's friend and student, Will of Stone, from his cabin in the woods. Although Mick is accustomed to sleeping in tree stumps and living off the land, Will still has one foot in the modern world and is not ready to give up the roof over his head. Fearing that he might lose the one man who will carry on his legacy, Mick offers to help his friend take the next step in his transformation — life completely off the grid.

In the far western corner of Washington state, off-the-grid pioneer Mick Dodge and his wild dog Gabu have been relying on each other for survival for more than two years. Gabu is as wild as her master and often runs off on her own for hours. But with bear, cougar and elk roaming the forest, Mick knows it is much safer for the duo to stick together. When Mick can't find Gabu for nearly two days, he worries that she may be in danger and sets off on a mission to track her down.

In the Hoh Rainforest, Mick uses a prized bow and arrow gifted to him by his grandfather. But when he goes to retrieve it from a stash, it's gone, stolen from its hiding spot. Mick makes a plan to replace the bow utilizing the age-old economy of bartering and trading. There's only one man he knows who can craft him a new one: a legendary archer named Norm. To find the currency he needs for the trade, he'll head to “The Boneyard,” which is filled with remnants and scraps from previous logging.

After a long cold winter, Mick Dodge is raring to go. After discovering a map tucked away in his grandfather's journal, Mick sets out on a treasure hunt with hopes of unearthing Will Dodge's old stashes and one very special relic.

With Mick's oldest friend's 65th birthday just a week away, Mick rallies the troops in hopes of bringing Karl's vision of 100 ft. log ladder to life. This "Staircase to the Sky"will give him an unobstructed view of Mt. Olympus right out his front door

Mick Dodge takes on a new student, Dave, who wants to see the forest through Mick's eyes and to reboot, refresh and reconnect with his primal instincts. Mick's lessons don't involve any text books or maps. For Dave, it's time to sink or swim.

Following in the tradition of early tribal games and the Greek Olympiad, Mick and his friends of the forest compete in their annual Olympic Mountain Games. With each member carefully selected for their specialized skills, the teams undertake three separate challenges that will push them to their limits, testing their strength, agility and teamwork. Going head-to-head, one team will fight their way to the top and reign as this year's champion.
