Bex's decision to take her relationship with boyfriend Ryan to the next step backfires, and somehow results in them breaking up. Things don't get much better at work when her boss, Charles, insists she find some prosthetic testicles for his newly neutered dog - just another task in a day's work for Bex.
Finding herself suddenly single, Bex reluctantly agrees to go speed dating with her colleague Chris. Just as she's about to leave the flat, her dad Jack turns up unannounced to stay the night. Left alone, he overhears a strange answerphone message, and decides his daughter needs rescuing from the speed dating.
