Moo-jin clears himself of suspicion in the fire accident. Later, Ae-yeon briefly disappears, leading to a chaotic family reunion at the police station.

Ae-yeon turns Moo-jin at dinner but can't shake her lingering emotions. Curious, she starts looking into his mysterious 11-year absence.

Things are looking up for the Byeons as Ae-yeon finds a career opportunity. Mi-rae mentors a new recruit at work and Moo-jin faces his past with grace.
