Wei Qian began to care about a boy he encountered on his way home. When he was following Wei Qian, he named him Wei Zhi Yuan, and they lived together, along with his younger sister Xiao Bao. When Wei Qian is informed of this by San Pang, he vehemently denies it, saying it's impossible.

Upon learning that Feng Ning, a candidate for his future brother-in-law, had become a partner in the company, Xiao Yuan became instantly displeased. At the signing ceremony for the cooperation project between HOT and Beautiful Life, Xiao Yuan got drunk and, under the influence of alcohol, confessed his feelings to Wei Qian.
