Romance is dialled up for the final dates outside of the Retreat before the kids are reunited with their parent and their potential new partner in order to ask their pressing questions. Fresh from these reunions, the kids have one last big decision to make when giving their blessing to their new relationships. Will the kids approve of their newfound love, or are some obstacles too big to overcome?

The kids write their parents a note about what they want to leave behind when leaving the Retreat, and the parents hear how far they've come through their children's eyes in an emotional final workshop. Davina McCall checks in on the parents and see who wants to continue with their connections or if it's time to leave and be reunited with their kids.

The parents share what they've learned from their experience so far and two of the parents begin to work out their feelings during a game of basketball. One dad gets a much needed face-to-face chat with his daughter and one of the mums considers walking away as she questions whether her connection will work in the real world.

The parents take part in a self-reflection workshop which proves to be more emotional than expected. The kids choose which parents will go on a pottery date and an unexpected connection begins to grow at the Retreat.
