Klaus Riskær opens Cybercity in posh premises on Esplanaden, while Martin Thorborg and his friends pool their money and start Cybernet in the dark basement of a computer shop. And so begins the race to get Danes on the internet.

But there's a dilemma: if they take it, they have to fire their employees and hand the company over to Yahoo.

The next day, the whole thing collapses and Jakob is left with millions in debt that needs to be repaid.
