When Jodi's cooking gives five young men food poisoning, the women of Drovers must convince the Killarney men to put on a strip show. At the same time, Claire and Alex's business partnership gets off to a rocky start, whilst Nick and Tess form a partnership of their own.

Droving cattle on a stock route, Nick and Tess's feelings for each other become stronger, until Nick discovers he has unexpected competition. With Becky in charge, she is committed to keeping Drovers running smoothly and showing Claire she can do it.

After a grubby day mustering cattle, Tess is thrilled to see two friends turn up unannounced at the homestead. Simon (Murray Bartlett) and Briony (Alexandra Davies) are her best mates from TAFE. She hasn't seen them for yonks. They're fun, they're charming, they've brought their own food. And while they're still hugging hello they drop their bombshell. They've got a lease on the cafe they all dreamed about and they want Tess to come back to the city with them ASAP.

A thirtieth wedding anniversary is no protection for Liz when Harry, suspicious about Claire's baby, discovers an even bigger lie. Liz is preparing for her thirtieth wedding anniversary lunch, and Harry, still very much in love, has given her a beautiful strand of pearls. But it soon all starts unravelling. Brick's sister arrives and is unhappy at the thought of Becky moving on. Becky assures her she hasn't forgotten about him, but notes she's still into Jake.

Tess is on the brink of committing to Nick.

Claire is finally released from hospital and driven home by 'father-to-be' Alex. Her first day back does not go as smoothly as the doctor would have intended and Claire realises that some things may have to change. She must also contend with the effects of the lie about Alex being the baby's father.

Tess is obsessed with her new psychology theory - the three levels of why. Armed with one of her mother's old psychology textbooks she figures if she can real reason for people's actions, then everything will be sorted. But all the psychology in the world can't explain why Alex isn't as romantic as she would like him to be, why Becky and Jodi are at each other's throats, or why Loverboy - the bull Claire sells to Nick - keeps breaking out of Nick's yards and returning to Drovers Run.

Claire is finding it difficult to come to terms with Tess' new found relationship with Alex. Her dream of developing a quarter horse breeding program at Drover's Run looks as if it may be close to coming to fruition and she's using it as an excuse to push Tess away. Tess wants nothing more than to help in any way she can, but Claire, having given Tess her share of the sheep sales, has decided it's time for her to return to the city. She claims to have Tess' interests at heart. She is about to achieve her dream, and wants Tess to have hers - that little cafe in Brunswick she used to talk about.

Meg is dedicating herself to her studies in order to prove herself at TAFE, and is thoroughly immersed in ‘Pride and Prejudice'. The misjudgements and misunderstandings of character that drive that classic echo through everyone's dealings at Drovers Run. Jodi is determined to succeed at the CFS training weekend despite feeling that Nick is not doing anything to help her. Her original enthusiasm is slowly destroyed as she is put through her paces and exhaustion sets in. A flirtation with another trainee, Toby, turns to animosity when she realises he does not want to be teamed up with a girl. She begins to feel that Nick is unfairly picking on her and pushing her to fail. Overnight she confides these feelings in Becky and Tess. Tess is quick to jump to Nick's defence much to Dave's bemusement. Becky gives a pep talk encouraging enough to propel her back to the second day of training determined to succeed.

Claire and Drovers Run are in deep trouble, and Tess, the only person who might be able to avert disaster, is immersed in her new life in the city.

Stevie uncovers a dying man's secret, and some secrets of her own are ready to rock Drovers Run.

Peter is justifiably angry. Not only did Claire and Alex lie to him as to who was the father, but Claire did not advise him until after the birth. Without Claire's knowledge Becky and Jodi leave the sheep on Harry Ryan's property for the night. But during the night they are sheared and the is wool stolen. Becky and Jodi investigate only to find that it's Craig who owes money from gambling.

Becky and Jake's relationship is tested when his real background is revealed, causing shock waves which impact eveyone on Drover's.

Frank Da Costa, the new cop in town, has it in for Terry. When Terry unwittingly on-sells stolen goods to Tess, he sets up an explosive confrontation that will unearth the dark secret at the heart of Frank's animosity.

Mark Howard returns to the district, determined to drag brother Sean into his life of illegality. Meanwhile, Meg finds that she has competition for Terry's affections and Terry finds himself under scrutiny by the law.

The sudden death of local farmer Max Martin alarms Harry, prompting inner fears of his own mortality, and a sudden outward drive to defy whatever fate may have in store by pursuing instant and rapid expansion of his property. Meanwhile Claire and Tess come across an accident involving one of their own with dramatic consequences for the Ryans.

Tess is disconcerted to learn Stevie can 'read' her so well whilst playing poker. Stevie explains the theory of 'tells' – signs that give away what a person is really thinking. Stevie finds herself set up as prime suspect for 'borrowing' Sandra's bull, Crusher, after agreeing to transport him for Sandra and settle the outstanding debt between them. When Crusher turns up in a Drovers paddock, apparently ready to service cows on heat, the finger of suspicion is immediately pointed at Stevie. Tess, unaware of Stevie's 'deal' with Sandra and knowing Stevie's history of 'borrowing' other people's possessions, reluctantly thinks the worst. Hoping to avoid police involvement, she agrees to sign over half the calves resulting from the serviced cattle to Sandra. Outraged, Stevie does her own sleuthing on Sandra's property and learns Crusher broke his penis several days ago. There's no way he could have sired any offspring and she and Tess realise they've been had.

Tess and Nick try to put their faltering relationship back on track, but there is an explosion that neither sees coming.

Claire's death has everyone is dealing with it in their own way. Tess tries to keep her emotions in check, unable to deal with her grief and burdened by survivor's guilt. A surprise visitor at Drovers Run helps Tess when she needs it most.

The lives of everyone on Drovers is forever changed when Stevie's daughter Rose suffers a tragic farm accident. Meanwhile, Grace is forced to take desperate measures to repay Ashleigh for her secret loan; Riley trains a new horse for Grace.

Peter puts an astonishing proposition to Claire which will change her life. Claire is unsure of herself following the discovery of her pregnancy and finds herself considering a proposal from Peter but events take a dramatic turn.

Theft is on everyone's mind. There are cattle duffers working in the district. Killarney has been struck - Nick's high tech security cameras undone by rifle fire - and a flock of Claire's sheep have gone missing. Claire's outrage at the thieves is tempered by mortification when she discovers her sheep haven't been stolen at all, but are wandering in the neighbouring National Park. The arrival of Senior Constable Cook to inform Claire of this puts the wind up Becky and Jodi who suspect he knows more than he's saying about Becky's altercation with Brian.

Becky and Jake go into Stud partnership with Claire but when things don't go as planned, whose side will Becky take? And, there's a speed dating session at Drovers, who will find love?

Claire has to deal with cattle theft and an old adversary, while Tess and Nick's relationship esculates. Brick is keeping his distance from Becky, but she refuses to let Jake get close to her. Attraction between Meg and Terry grows ever-so-slightly.

As Tess feels increasingly isolated from Claire, she works hard to bring Nick and Alex back together, an effort which backfires when she lets a Ryan family secret out of the bag.

After many confusing dreams and visions Tess begins to suspect Nick is really alive. Meanwhile, Kate thinks she may have skin cancer; Moira questions her psychic abilities.

As final preparations for the Miss Gungellan ball continue, Meg is faced with a difficult decision; to stay at the place she loves or to leave with the man she loves. Jodi is desperate to go with her father and is over the moon when Meg decides to take a chance for once in her life. All the women at Drovers enjoy the opportunity to dress up for the biggest event on the Gungellan social calendar. Jodi is voted Miss Gungellan but to everybody's surprise and Liz's horror, she gives up the crown in order to go off up north with her father and Meg. Only trouble is, Meg is having second thoughts. And so too is Kevin.

When Bill Tilson decides to sell up and move to the city, Claire sees the precariousness of her own situation on Drover's Run. Meg meanwhile is preparing to make her annual tomato chutney. Despite her best efforts it tastes awful and she doesn't understand why.

Love is in the air over Drovers Run. When Alberto, an itinerant, good looking young Italian rescues Jodi from a rampant steer she falls hopelessly in love with him. At first Meg isn't too worried as Alberto will be moving on. Before he can leave however, he saves Jodi yet again, this time from a snake, incurring a snakebite himself in the process. While he is recuperating, love starts to bloom between him and Jodi. Which is exactly what Claire is hoping would be happening between her mare (Blaze) and Harry's stallion (Wildfire).

While clashing with rich new neighbor Heath Barrett, Grace becomes convinced she's cursed Drovers Run when bizarre plagues strike the farm. Meanwhile, while Alex is away on his honeymoon with Stevie, Ashleigh runs amok when she undermines Marcus' authority on Killarney and seduces Patrick, causing Tayler to discover she's jealous; when Phil profiteers from high petrol prices, Moira's love is tested.

Dave, Regan & Tess go on an afternoon picnic when Nick heads into town for a meeting, that ends up becoming a job offer. Meanwhile, Stevie takes care of Charlotte for the afternoon, but when the child goes missing, she turns Drovers upside down to find her; Jodi gives Kate a facial with disastrous results.

An innocent flirtation turns into something more dangerous for Kate as Stevie and Alex finally realise their dream of starting a rodeo school.

Meanwhile, the reunion also stirs up some difficult feelings for Kate's friend, Jodi. She can't help but feel threatened when she comes face-to-face with her old school rival, the gorgeous Natalie. Jaz tries to train her horse Annie to become a working horse, but Annie is afraid of something and causes problems on the farm. With help from Ben, Jaz tries to figure out if Annie can stay at Drovers or whether she should show jump again.

The day before the big wedding has arrived and Stevie makes a shocking discovery - Fiona has been lying to Alex about being pregnant. Meanwhile, Kate and Jodi also have a secret of their own involving Fiona's wedding dress; Kate agrees to go with Patrick to the wedding but wonders if he's not the man for her; Dave asks Regan to help him learn to dance.

When Tess returns home to Drovers, with news that she's pregnant, but her joy is soon turned to grief when Nick's plane crashes and he is presumed dead. Meanwhile, Jodi attempts to verify that she is Jack McLeod's daughter, but first must find some of his DNA.

When Tayler's mom shows up at Drovers, Tayler is forced to face her demons. Meanwhile, Stevie is concerned that her infant son has not smiled yet.

Claire feels threatened when she uncovers certain evidence about Jack. Meanwhile, Meg and Claire discover more about Becky's home life when she temporarily returns to work at her parent's truck shop.

Stevie loses control when Leo returns to the district, just as she's trying to prove he murdered Harry Ryan. Meanwhile, Alex discovers Fiona lied about the pregnancy when he overhears her and Sandra; later when confronted, Fiona confesses to Alex the whole truth in an effort to get him to kick Sandra out of Killarney for good.

When Regan returns to Drovers, she reveals a shocking secret. Meanwhile, when Fiona learns she is infertile, she decides not to tell Alex; Stevie decides Jodi must take her place and responsibility as a part owner of Drovers Run.

After Rose returns from the hospital in a wheelchair, she's involved in a freak car crash, but questions arise if it was really an accident. Meanwhile, Moira convinces the girls to do a naked rain dance; Tayler discovers Rose's secret; aA guardian angel visits Drovers to make the girls' dreams come true; Phil meets a ghost, and begins to understand Moira's psychic gifts.

As marriage looms for Tess and Nick, Tess finds herself in over her head.

Rumours run amok after the ball, as the town believes Steve is dating Marcus. Repurcussions occur when one man, Ted Franklin, causes some problems for Drovers and Tayler takes it upon herself to dig up gossip on him to bargain with.

Moira is preparing to play the leading girl in Phil's musical. During the rehearsals she finds out that Phil's son is getting married, but Phil isn't planning to attend the wedding, and she decides to interfere. Meanwhile, a new vet arrives in town and Stevie feels guilty for finding him attractive. Grace feels bad about what she said to Ingrid before she left.

Stevie realizes she's in love with Alex, but can't bring herself to tell him. Meanwhile, Harry continues to push for his grandson to live near him, despite objections by Sandra; Jodi gets the results of her DNA test; Tess has a strange recurring dream about Nick.

After her sister Grace inherits a part share of Drovers Run, Regan attempts to reconcile with her wild sister. Meanwhile, disaster occurs after Riley is seduced by a sexy cowgirl; Kate attempts to prove her bizarre farming methods to Marcus.

A good sale at the sheep sales and the girls are ready to celebrate. A night at the pub, a bit of Karaoke perhaps, all the signs of a great ""Girls Night Out"". But things don't go as planned when it is revealed that the new barmaid, Kimmy, has been copping the same abuse Becky fell victim to at the hands of Brian. Resolving that something must be done and it must be done without Claire's knowledge, the decision is made to wait until closing and see if they can catch Brian fair and square.

Alex goes on a journey to grieve over Nick, while Harry believes keeping his grandson close to him is the most important thing in the world right now. Meanwhile, Tess receives a letter Nick wrote to her before he died; Kate cares for baby chicks that Dave brought her.

Tayler has a new study-buddy, Wolfgang, that Patrick doesn't approve of, causing Tayler to be angry with Patrick for not trusting her. Meanwhile, Moira tries to tell Phil that she is pregnant, but is afraid to disappoint him and ruin their life plans.

Even though Harry seeks advice from Tess, and Sandra from Nick, it's openly a war of the roses, and Sandra's last-ditch attempt to get a response from Harry backfires. Kate tries to convince Stevie to reinstate Jodi, whom she fired the previous week. Stevie won't budge unless Jodi admits she's wrong, and Jodi won't return unless Stevie asks her. Nick learns what it's like to be a single father, juggling bottles, nappies, baby, and work. With some loving advice from Tess, he accepts the chaos and learns to enjoy time with his son.

After Harry's death, Alex learns the true story about Harry's life. Meanwhile, Stevie admits to Alex that the argued with Harry the morning he died; Kate & Regan are forced to work together when they must deal with a lead poisoning mystery.

Grace makes a deal with the devil when she accepts a secret loan from Ashleigh, after her bank loan is refused. Meanwhile, after Grace and Kate are taken hostage by a bankrupt farmer, Moira has a premonition that someone will get shot.

The women of Drovers take on the big boys of the sheep industry at the annual Wool Expo. As Nick's web of lies about Sally and the baby come undone Tess makes her feelings clear leaving him no choice but to leave Drover's Run and his wife behind.

After his lucky escape from the car crash, Patrick feels invincible and risks his life to prove it. Ingrid is forced to reveal a dark secret — she is on the run from an abusive husband. The Drovers girls use old world technology to repair their windmill, which broke and fell during the recent flood.

Six months after Claire's death, Tess has thrown herself into work and decides to reinstate the horse breeding and training programme at Drovers. A stolen horse, a raging bushfire, and Stevie defying orders push Tess to the limit, resulting in her breakdown.

Alex is overcome by toxic fumes while cleaning an old water tank. Meanwhile Jodi gives Meg advice about how to fix her relationship with Terry; Stevie discovers that Meg is hiding something concerning Jodi's birth.

While putting off her grief and planning a celebration of Nick's life on their 1 year anniversary, Tess anticipates seeing Nick's ghost, as she did Claire's. Meanwhile, Stevie is torn when Drovers is offered a promising research project and helping Tess & Alex grieve; Sandra worries about Harry.
