WAN meets SUN in the office. They know each other's hardship. The company holds a barbecue. SUN is responsible to arrange everything. WAI's youngest daughter also participates on that day. Everybody are attracted by her beauty. DOT and WAI do not yield each other. They eventually get hurt together. A magazine depicts DOT and WAI's notorious news who have chased the female stars. FA and CHUNG extort money from DOT. DOT loses a lot of money. LIN invites LUNG to her villa to take a rest when there is heavy rain. LIN slaps LUNG as the latter is impolite to her. LUNG slanders LIN for revenge. One day, SUN chats with a colleague about a female star. LIN thinks that they are gossiping about her. LIN splits him some tea.

Later, LIN knows that she has wronged SUN. She apologizes to him. YEE makes up herself when working recently. WAN heard that there is a handsome doctor joining the hospital. WAH feels very unease. SUN finds that YUK always loses her temper recently. He decides not to fancy anything. LIN, WAI and DOT ask LUNG about the 'poor bricks problem'. LUNG cannot explain. He crashes himself with the bricks in the hope that they will forgive him. YUK goes to pub to drown care in wine as her boyfriend was not loyal to her. She sleeps with KAN after drunk. She is angry with KAN the next day. LIN carelessly falls down into the lift trough. SUN tries to stop her but is in vain.

SUN brings LIN some 'Snow Lotus from Tin Shan'. LIN finds him very strange. When SUN has known that LIN had only hurt her leg, he is more relieved. WAN is angry to see YEE having drink with LEON. However, LING is very excited. He is happy to have a doctor to be his son-in-law. When WAI heard that YEE and LEON go camping, he drowns care in wine. Later, he knows that it is only a misunderstanding. He finds some hope. YUK is pregnant. She discusses her problem with WAI. WAI refuses to bear the responsibility. However, KAN agrees to marry YUK after he has known the case. DOT and WAI negotiate about KAN and YUK's marriage. WAI extorts five hundred banquet table from DOT. DOT refuses his request. WAI does not allow YUK to marry KAN. DOT leaves.

YUK claims that she will become a nun if she cannot get marry. WAI has no alternative. Moreover, FA convinces DOT to allow KAN marry YUK. KAN and YUK could then get married. DOT asks SUN to arrange a gift for his son's wedding. SUN then asks the colleagues to buy a golden plate as the wedding gift. They blame SUN. When LIN has known the case, she pays for the golden plate. SUN is moved. WAI forces DOT to donate two million dollars at the wedding. DOT is very angry with him. WAN brings CHI to have a walk and do some exercise. He even convinces CHI to work at his company. Friendship gradually develops between them. CHI and SUN take the same lift when they got to work. CHU carelessly drops some money. CHU walk out but SUN does not aware of the money. A rascal bursts into the lift and robs SUN.

SUN is being robbed and hurt. LUNG assigns CHI and LUNG to collect land. SUN is bitten by a dog. SUN is very unfortunate. KAN and YUK back home after the honeymoon. FA asks KAN to back to the company at once so as to strengthen his position. However, DOT praises CHI and SUN who succeed in collecting land. LUNG and KAN disagree with DOT. They set a plot to trap SUN. They secretly put the tender into SUN's briefcase. However, LIN . by chance finds the tender. She took it out before DOT checks his briefcase. LING is very confused. WAI pays MARTIN a huge sum of money to separate with LIN. MARTIN agrees. He then cancels his appointment with LIN. LIN then goes to Karaoke with SUN and the colleagues. LIN meets MARTIN outside the main entrance of the Karaoke. MARTIN tells LIN to separate with her.

SUN follows LIN in lest that she will encounter accident. However, LIN does not aware of SUN. KAN again cheats by women and make the company lose huge sum of money. WAI and DOT again quarrel with each other due to this incident. WAI knows a beautiful flight attendant, YAN. YAN returns a ball-pen to WAI so as to get close to him. SUN finds that he has fallen in love with LIN. WAI and DOT quarrel again as KAN has an affair with a female star in Taiwan. They even disclose each other's notorious affairs in public. YAN wants to work at WAI's company. WAI assigns her to be his personal secretary. He then always lunches with YAN. He passes a lot of work to her. SUN buys a box of chocolate for LIN during the Valentine's day. However, he feels embarrassed to give her the chocolate in person. He tries to put it on the desk secretly. However, LIN returns when SUN is trying to put the chocolate on her desk.

LIN expresses to SUN that she has no feeling with him. SUN feels very embarrassed. WAI thinks that SUN has known his affair with YAN, thus, he increases SUN's salary tremendously. WAI cancels his trip to France with YAN. He plans to accompany KAO instead. YAN is mad at WAI. She expresses her love to LUNG. KAN lives debauchery, thus, he is beaten by YUK. LIN goes to Guangzhou with SUN for business. LIN's briefcase is captured by a pickpocket. She loses her proposal. Fortunately, SUN has already recited the proposal. Thus, they could perform in the meeting smoothly. LIN is glad. They celebrate. LIN pretends to be drunk. SUN takes her back to the hotel room. However, SUN is very polite and does not take advantage on her. LIN starts to like SUN.

WAI sees that SUN and LIN are always together. He suspects them. LUNG loses a lot in the stock market. He is beaten by the debt collector. YAN extorts money from WAI. WAI agrees. YAN lends LUNG the money. She claims that it is her own money as WAI refuses to lend her money. LUNG feels grateful with YAN's help. YUK again knows that KAN is not loyal to her. She beats KAN. However, it affects the baby. Fortunately, she could give birth to the baby smoothly. YUK sees that the baby resembles WAI instead of KAN. She is very unease. LIN finds that SUN studies hard in polishing up her English for her sake. LIN is moved with his effort. She loves SUN more. WAI pays SUN a huge sum of money to leave LIN. SUN is shocked.

LIN is very angry. She leaves angrily. SUN welcomes LIN to live in his place temporarily. SUN's family members treat LIN well. LIN feels very touched. KAO sees that WAI got a precious diamond. SUN, LIN, WAI and KAO go on a picnic. They know that KAO has already recovered. however, KAO asks them not to disclose the truth. Besides, WAN and YEE have disclosed their relation. YEE introduces ADA to CHI. CHI and ADA eventually become close friends. CHI is determined to join the auxiliary police force with ADA's influence. YAN and LUNG swindle money separately. YAN easily swindles eight million dollars. LUNG cheats DOT to buy a heap of bad bricks. Later, WAI sees LUNG at YAN's home, he then knows that he has fallen into the trap. LIN again finds that the bricks are bad. When DOT questions LUNG, LUNG turns a cold shoulder to him. WAI and DOT then know that they are being cheated. WAI is being kidnapped. DOT wants to rescue WAI but is being beaten down instead.

The kidnappers extorts one billion dollars from both the KAM and MAO families. The MAO's family members all claim that they are very poor except CHI. SUN is sore to see that they are so cruel. KAO swears that she must save WAI. LIN and YUK then know that KAO has recovered. SUN sells his flat for WAI and DOT's sake. LIN thanks him a lot. KAN is appointed to send the money to the spot assigned by the kidnappers. However, KAN seizes the money instead. Though DOT and WAI are in a very dangerous position, their relation has improved. The kidnappers want to kill WAI and DOT. SUN finds the spot with the voice of the cassette tape as the clue. WAN and SUN go search them separately. SUN eventually finds them but he is being caught instead. He takes the chance to electrocute the kidnappers and brings WAI and DOT away. However, SUN is being shot down by the kidnappers.

WAN brings the police to the spot in time. They could then escape from danger. They want to promote SUN to be the general manager. However, SUN refuses their good intention. He plans to set up his own engineering firm. KAN questions YUK who is the baby's real father. YUK admits that KAN is not the baby's father. YUK even discloses that KAN has stolen the king's ransom. YUK and WAI then separate with each other. WAN and YEE buy a taxi together. CHI and ADA have joined the auxiliary police force. The two couples get along well with each other. LIN makes KAN and YUK restore their couple relation during WAI and KAO's wedding anniversary. WAI also fixes a wedding day for LIN and SUN. Everybody are very happy during LIN and SUN's wedding. LIN helps SUN to fix his collar. They then perform the wedding ceremony. Everybody are pleased to see them get married.
