Emperor Wen of Sui orders the digging of the Canal to unclog the drain. Foreman Wang Shih-chung squeezes on food ration and persecutes the workers. Chang San-lang inflicts bodily punishment on him. Shih-chung seeks Peng Shan Old Man's help to fight against him and Chang beats him by a narrowmargin. Envoy Ta Chu in Ti Chi oppresses the people. Yang Yung and Li Tsing combine to punish him out of righteousness, and they are impressed by each other. Ti Chi invites the Sui family to send men to participate in a tournament. Yang Kuang strongly recommends Yang Yung to act as the envoy, claiming to give him a chance to obtain credit but actually harboring the malicious plot of having him removed. To return the favor of saving his life, Chang promises Mrs Hsuan Hua to take care of Chen Shu-ming, but Chen is ungrateful and keeps complaining about Chang's failure to help him reinstate the state .and accusing Mrs Husan Hua of cowardice……

Indignant over her recklessness, Chang teases Lan Ling, much to her mortification. On the other hand, Yang Yung and Li Tsing eventually win the first day's tournament by joint efforts. Shu-ming makes an unsuccessful attempt on the life of Ke Lan and is rescued by Chang, who offers to bring him back to Chung Yuan. Resenting his sincere intention, Shu-ming clashes with him. Lan Ling passing by, not knowing the truth, helps Shu-ming, enabling him to make good escape. Lan Ling becomes suspicious of Chang's identity and follows him, only to be teased by him again. Yang Kuang arranges to trap Yang Yung into a fatal accident during the tournament. Chang discovers it, overpowers Shu-ming attends the competition for Yang Yung, saving him from assassination by Kuang's man. Accusing Yang Yung of sending men to assassinate him, Ke Lan puts Yang Yung in custody……

Ke Pan discovers that Liu Chiang has turned against him and blames Liu for all mishap. Ke Pan releases Yang Yung back to mainland; Yang Yung and the Prince of Ti Chi reluctantly say good-bye to each other. Yang Yung goes back to the palace and gave a puppet to his wife; His wife reprimands him for wasting his mind on toys. Yang Yung becomes very unhappy; Yang Kuang seizes the opportunity and brings Yang Yung to a brothel; and then let Solitary Queen know, causing Solitary Queen to be more displeased with Yang Yung and reprimand Yang Yung. Solitary Queen proposes to Yang Gian that Yang Yung be dethroned. Yang Gian takes it lightly. Chin Yao-chin does not have money for dinner and creates trouble on the streets hoping that Chin Ghiung will arrest him so that he can live in prison. Chang San-lang gives Chin money. Li Siang-r passes by and thought Chin is robbing. During the fight, Chin is arrested……

Lan Ling interrogates Shu-wing hoping to find out Chang San-lang's identity; Shu-wing refuses to talk: Lan Ling goes to Chang's house and wants Chang to go to Thousand Leaves Heights to rescue Shu-wing. Yang Kuang appears while Chang San-lang is thinking and says he can help rescue Shu-ming. Chang San-lang does not trust Yang and does not consent. Chang San-lang goes to Thousand Leaves Heights by himself and argues with Lan Ling. Lan Ling asks her men to attack Chang, Chang, with hisexcellent kung-fu, rescues Shu-wing. Lan Ling admires Chang. Meanwhile, Chang ordered Taoist Sun to take Chang to the ore mine to treat his wounds. On their way to the ore mine, Sun and Shu-wing are followed by Lan Ling's men. Chin Chiung helps them escape from Lan Ling's followers, but they soon fall into the hands of Lan Ling's another follower, not knowingthat they are being followed……

Lan Ling sets up a trap in the cave, Chang San-lung gets poisoned and faints. Siang-r tries to save him. Lan Ling follows in, the two women meet and fight. The cave collapses, and the three think that they will die in the cave and show their true feelings. Later, no name Taoistsaves them. Lan Ling is jealous of Siang-r and goes away. Meanwhile, Shu-wing escapes amidst the commotion. Zi Zhou has a drought, Li Yan'begs Yang Gian to use donated food in the warehouse to ease the disaster. Yang Gian refuses. Yang Kuang induces Yang Yung to go to Zi Zhou, hoping to hold him responsible for theillegal sale of rice. At Zi Zhou, The Girl with the Red Duster helps the starving rob rice fromthe warehouse. Liu Chiung rushes to the warehouse and stopsthe commotion. Yang Yung and Li Tsing arrive at Zi Zhou. Liu Chiung stirs up the feelings of the people, and wants Yang Yung to give the donated food to the people……

Mrs Hsuan Hua and Lan Ling protect Yang Gian. Shu-ming runs back to Chang. Chang San-lang knows Lan Ling will come and ask Taoist Sun to lead Shu-wing away. Lan Ling and her men arrive at Chang's house to arrest Shu-ming and fight with Chang San-lang. Lan Ling is captured. Bo Li S holds Siang-r hostage and saves Lan Ling. Li Yan and other ministers beg Yang Gian to release Yang Yung. Yang Kuang tries to hinder but fails. He speaks ill of Li Tsing, hoping to rid Yang Yung's wise man. Yang Gian is tricked and sends his men to capture Li Tsing. Yu Wen Shu and his men want to kill Li Tsing. While escaping, Li Tsing runs into the Palace of Ye. In order to please Yang Yung, Yang Su let Li stay. Yang Kuang wants to search Ye's Palace, but is stopped by Su. Yang Kuang sends his men to surround Ye's Palace. Yang Yung and Li Yan plan to rescue Li Tsing. To avoid more danger, Li Tsing leaves Chang An……

Chang San-lang finds that Shu-wing is recuperating at I Xung Brothel and rushes there. Bai Mu Dan warns Shu-wing and he escapes. To find out the whereabouts of Shu-ming, Lan Ling goes to Tao Rhan Gy and destroys the ancestors' boards. Chang San-lang is very angry and slaps Lan Ling. Lan Ling goes away, angry and bashful, with mixed feelings towards Chang. Yang Kuang falsely accused Li Yan of trying to overthrow Yang Gian. Yang Gian believes and wants to execute Li Yan but is stopped by Solitary Queen. Yang Gian dethroned Li Yan and sends him to Tai Yuan. On his way to Tai Yuan, Liu Chiung, ordered by Yang Kuang, tries to kill Li. Chin Chiung and Chin Yao-chin help Li Yan escape. Liu Chiung is angry with Chin Chiung and orders .his men to kill Chin. When Chin has no where to go, he joins Chin Yao-chin and his men and becomes a robber. It rains when Chang San-lang and Siang-r are on their way to a monastery……

Lan Ling changes to be kind to Chang San-lang and Siang-r. Chang knows Lan Ling is after something and does not respond to her. Lan Ling discovers Bai Mu Dan and Shu-ming's relationship and takes Bai Mu Dan back to Thousand Leaves Heights. Chang San-lang is afraid that Lan Ling will hurt Bai and goes to help her. Lan Ling is polite to Bai and let her go. Chang San-lung is impressed by Lan Ling's strategy. Shu-ming does not know that Bai Mu Dan has been released; he goes to Thousand Leaves Heights and is captured by Lan Ling's men. Taoist Sun rescued Shu-wing and tells Shu-ming to go to Li Mi of Cloud Heights. Li Mi takes Shu-ming after learning about his identity. Lan Ling and men come to Cloud Heights and want Li Mi to let them have Shu-wing. Li refuses and fights with Lan Ling. Lan Ling loses and sets Cloud Heights on fire. Li Mi and Shu-ming escape through a secret way……

Xung Fu Nu (The Girl with the Red Duster) seduces Yang Xyan Ting and Yang brings her into Ye's Palace. Xung then uses her talents to attract Yang Su, causing Yang Su to keep her as a singer in the Palace. Siang-r sees Chang San-lang going out with Lan Ling and is jealous. Taoist Sun encourages Siang-r to compete for Chang's love. Siang lies to Chang that it is her birthday and has Chang take her to an outing. Chang finally takes Siang-r to Thousand Leaves Heights to enjoy the moon- light with Lan Ling. Siang-r is angry that chang and Lan are intimate and goes away. Siang-r wants to leave Chang's house. Taoist tells Siang-r to change her bad temper. Siang-r becomes kind and gentle to Chang San-lang. Chang finds it funny that Siang-r changes her attitude. Yang Su-loves Xung Fu Nu. Su's wife is angry and wants to make life miserable for Xung. Xung is smart and avoids her misfortune……

Chang San-lang touched Lan Ling while dressing her wounds. Their feelings are tingled. Lan Ling goes to argue with Yang Kuang but Yang Kuang lies and tells Lan Ling not to be friend with Chang San-lang. Lan is ambivalent and avoidsChang. Yang Su wants to have Xung Fu Nu as his concubine. Xung gets Yang's wife to be her God-mother, forcing Yang to abandone his desire. Li Tsing arrives at Tai Yuan and lives at Li Yan's. Since Li Tsing is wanted by the Government, Li Yuan feels ill at ease. While Gian Cheng Yan Gi is forcing Li Tsing to leave, Sh Mi arrives andmakes Li Tsing stay. Li Tsing and Sh Mi are impressed by each other, and Li Tsing decides to stay and help Sh Mi. Xung Fu Nu wants to make it look like that Liu Chiung is rioting, hoping that Yang Su will kill Liu. Liu Chiung is aware of Xung's plan and asksYang Su to help him and Xung Fu Nu to be friends again……

In order to forget Lan Ling, Chang San.-lang decides to go to the West. Siang-r and Taoist Sun want to follow. Lan Ling learns about it and secretly follow them. Meanwhile, Yang Kuang sends Liu Chiung to the West to kill Chang. When Chano and the others arrive at the West, they find out that A Mu Ki Bo Ke is a mean, rich man. Chang anf Taoist Sun plan to deal with A Mu Ki Bo Ke. At the same time, Liu Chiung has arrived. He learns about the unhappy relationship between A Mu and Chang San-lang. Liu decides to help A Mu. Lan Ling secretly goes to Chang San-lang's residence and finds out that he still hates her. She feels sad and decides to go back to the mainland. Chang San-lang and others are trapped by Liu Chiung. Liu wants to burn them alive. Lan Ling has already started her journey but turns back when she heard the news and rescues the three……

Li Tsing entreats Yang Su to save Yang Yung. Yang Su refuses and sendsLi away. Xung Fu Nu follows and warns Li Tsing that Yang Su may harm him. Li does not-listen. Liu Chiung suggests killing Li Tsing, Yang Su agrees and orders Liu Chiung to do the planning. Xung Fu Nu eavesdropped, steals Liu'scommander's badge and tells Li Tsing to run for his life. Chang San-Lang finds out Liu Chiung's whereabouts, goes into Ye's Palace and kills Liu Chiung. Yang Su Knows about the event and blames Li Tsing. When he finds out that Xung Fu Nu and the theft of the commander's badge,he is more angry and orders the killing of Li Tsing and Xung Fu Nu. While running away, Li and Xung are surrounded by Xyan Gan and his men. Xung is injured. In the spur of the moment, Chang San-lang comes and saves Li Tsing and Xung Fu Nu. Sh Min knows that Li Tsing is escaping and send Li Yar_ Ba and Chang Sun du Gou to help Him……

Chang San-lang and the others arrive at Tai Yan and go visit Sh Min. Liu Wen Zing is afraid that the three will bring trouble to the Li family and thus send them away and does not let Sh Min know. Sh Min and Wu Gou go to visit a monastery. Chang San-lang rushes in to meet them. The three admire each other. Wu Gou is deeply impressed by Chang San-lang. Sh Min knows and regrets that Wen Zing had sent Chang San-lang away. He invites them to live at his house. Wu Gou is also happy and suggests staying at Li's house to be together with Chang. Sh Min who is secretly in love with Wu Gou feels sad. U Gian Zhang persuades Yang Gian not to strip Yang Yung's title. Yang Gian finally releases Yang Yung. Queen Solitary is very unhappy. Sh Min feels that Li Tsing and his wife should not be accused and begs Yang Yung to_help them to appease Yang Su. Yang Su, very unwillingly, forgives the Li Tsing couple……

Yang Kuang speaks ill of Li Tsing in front of Yang Gian. Later, he hypocritically helps the two be friends again. Yang Gian and Li Tsing like Yang Kuang better. Sh Min goes back to Tai Yan. Wu Gou knows that Chang San-lang will stay at Chang An and is disappointed. Sh Min wants to please Wu Gou, but Wu is not moved. Yu Fu goes into the Palace to visit the Yuan concubine; he also seduces Yang Yung without Yuan concubine knows. Yang Yung is not interested. Yang Gian is ill and orders Lan Ling to visit Mrs Hsuan Hwa. Lan Ling meets Chang San-lang at Mrs Hsuan's place and thinks the two has intimate relationships. Mrs Hsuan Hwa is forced to reveal her relationship with Chang and that Shu-wing is still alive. Lan Ling wants to destroy Shu-ming's false tomb but is stopped by Chang San-lang. The two finally understand each other……

Wu Gou goes to Chang An to look for Chang San-lang. Siang-r feels uneasy and tells Wu Gou about the relationship between Chang San-fang and Lan Ling. Wu Gou asks Chang San-lang, Chang only admits that he is friends with Lan Ling. Wu Gou and Siang-r feel relieved. Yang Su and Yang Kuang exaggerate the situation at the border and want Yang Gian to send his soldiers there. Yang Kuang and U Gian Zhang disagree, Yang Gian tyrants to wait-and see, Su and Kuang are unsatisfied. Yang Kuang makes Yu Fu seduce Yang Yung and tells her to pretend that she and Yung had sex in order to force concubine Yuan to make Yu Fu a concubine. However, concubine Yuan is very angry and sends Yu Fu away from the Palace. Yang Kuang then ordered Yu Wen Shu to kill Yu Fu but to accuse Yang Yung of the murder. Yang Yung, Li Tsing and Xung Fu Nu meet and are surrounded by Yu Wen Shu's men. Fortunately, Li Mi and Shu-ming save them. At the same time, Lan Ling and Chang San-lang are trapped in a cave while Lan Ling is dressing Chang's wounds. Chang, who is half conscious, tells her he loves her. Lan Ling is moved. Yang Yung and the others arrive at the border and finds out that the top commander has just died but the situation is calm. Yang Yung feels suspicious and wants to find out the truth. Chang San-lang and Lan Ling discover a secret path, and a secret chamber. There are many traps in the chamber but the two are not hurt. However, they cannot get out. Feeling that they may die together, the relationship between them gets better. Yang Yung and his men arrive at Ti Chi. Prince of Do Gi desires killing Yang Yung. Yang Yung decides to stay and investigate. Yu wen Shu secretly meet Ti Chi He Han and promises to kill Yang Yung……

Li Tsing thought Yang Yung was dead and since Chang San-lang and Lan Ling cannot be found, thinks they are dead. Li Tsing and Xung Fu Nu are very sad. Li Tsing goes back to Chang An and tells Yang Gian the sad news. Queen Solitary hears the news and is very sad. Yang Kuang thinks his plan has worked, and is happy. But he pretends to be really sad, deeply moving queen Solitary. At the same time, Siang-r and Queen Solitary thought Chang San-Lang is dead and cry. At the funeral of Yang Yung, Yang Yung, Lan Ling, Chang San-lang, Li Mi and Shu-wing suddenly appear. In fact, Yang Yung was saved by Chang and others when he fell down the cliff. Chang San-lang pointed out Yu Wen Shu and Ti Chi HeHan's conspiracy. Yang Kuang is afraid that his plans will be revealed and tries to cover up. But Chang San-lang still suspects Yang Kuang. Siang-r and wu Gou meet Chang San-lang and are very glad……

Yang Kuang kills concubine Yuan and puts the blame on Yang Yung saying that he forced concubine Yusn to commit suicide. Queen Solitary is angry and puts Yang Yung in the Palace prison. Coming across so many accidents, Yang Gian decides to take all the princes to the.Royal monastery to ask for blessings. Yang Kuang purposely let Bai Mu Dan know. Bai let Shu-ming know and Shu-ming wants to seize the opportunity to kill Yang Gian. Wu Gi and Yan Ba go to Tae Rhan Gy to bring Wu Gou back home.Wu Gou tricks Wu Gi to let her stay at Chang's home, but cause wu Gi and Li Mi to fight. The two are impressed by each other. Finally, Wu Gou follows Wu Gi back to Tai Yan. Yang Gian and his three sons and Lan Ling go back'.to the, monastery to ask for blessings. Shu-wing assassinates Yang Gian. The third prince sacrifices his life to save Gian. Shu-wing is captured. Chang San-lang begs Lan Ling to release Shu-ming……

Yang Yung lives in Tao Rhan Gy, Cha ng San-lang says Yang Kuang is suspicious. Yang Yung does not believe him and argues with Chang. Li Tsing tries to pacify them. Yang Gian decides to make Yang Kuang his Heir Prince. To please Yang Gian,Yang Kuang suggests Gian live with Mrs Hsuan Hwa in the side palace for the time being. Meanwhile, Kuahg takes care of all national affairs. Yang Kuang is happy and celebrates in the palace. Queen Solitary sees him and reprimands him. Yang Kuang's true personality is seen. He scorned Queen Solitary and takes her to the side palace and see Yang Gian and Mrs Hsuan Hwa's relationship. Queen Solitary wants Yang Gian to kill Mrs Hsuan Hwa and tells him about Yang Kuang and wants Yang Gian kill Yang Kuang and make Yang Yung the heir. Yang Gian believes Yang Kuang and thinks Queen Solitary is mad and disregards her. Yang Yung is sent to visit Queen olitary……

Mrs Hauan Hwa resists and finally escapes from Yang Kuang. Yang Gian knows about the attempted rape and discovers Yang Kuang's true self. Yang Gian decides to collaborate with Gian Zhang and asks Doctor Dun to look for Yang Yung. Yang Yung gets the message and goes into the Palace with Doctor Dun. Yang Kuang has already set up a trap to kill the two. Taoist Sun saves their lives. Taoist Sun again helps them to go into the palace secretly. Yang Gian orders Gian Zhang to go get help, and he himself makes a will and asks Mrs Hsuan Hwa to take care of it. Chang an-lang and others arrive at Thousand Leaves Heights to look for Yang Yung. They know that Yang Yung is being invited to the palace; worried, they at once go to the palace. Yang Kuang sends away Yang Gian's men and then reprimands him. In a rage, he killed Yang Gian. Mrs Esuan.Hwa sees what happens and is scared……

On Yang Kuang's inauguration, Gian Zhang reprimanded him in front of other people and wants to kill Kuang. He is outnumbered and commits suicide. Lan Ling heard about what happened and rushes to the palace. However, Kuang lies to Lan Ling. In order to look for Siang-r, Chang San-lang goes to the ore mine. He is ambushed by Yu Wen Shu's men. Chang finally escaped. Yang Su knows he is talented and requests to have control over the espionage camp to strengthen his power. Yang Kuang does not oppose to Yang Su. Lan Ling wants to see Mrs Hsuan Ewa, Yang Kuang cannot stop her. While he is worrying, Yang Kuang discovers that Mrs Hsuan Ewa is missing. Everybody is shocked: Yang Kuang loves to enjoy himself and orders the building of an eastern capital Lo Yang, causing the people to be overworked. At the same time, Chang San-lang and the others go to visit Sh Min, and are well received……

Yang Kuang orders the custody of Sh Min and gives his authority to Yang Yan Gan. At the same time, there is news that Ti Chi has invaded. Yang Kuang orders Yan Gan to defend. Yan Gan is afraid. Yang Kuang then suggests having Sh Min .take the troops to remedy his crime. Yang Su agrees and gives back his authority and some of his troops. Yang Kuang orders Sh Min to bring a secret message to Tai Yan for Li Yan to reveal all the conspiracies and remove Yang Su's troops. Sh Min knows Yang Kuang and Yang Su will fight against each other and decides to wait and see. Yang Su knows Yang Kuang will harm him; but he is so angry that he is.-not afraid. Mrs Hsuan Hwa was rescued by Yang Su and kept at his place. Yang Su wants to use Esuan to blackmail Yang Kuang. Sh Min makes Li Tsing stay in the capital to check the news. Li Tsing meets Chin Yao-chin and Chin Chiung. The two invited Li to stay at R Yan Heights. Li agrees……

Hsuan Hwa tells Li Tsing about Yang Kuang's killing his father to become emperor. Li Tsing takes Hsuan Hwa to go with him. Yang Su finds out and sends his men after them. Yao-chin and others set up their business at Pan Lung Zhan and Yao-chin is their head. Yao-chin gives himself the title Xun Shi Mo Huang. Bai Mu Dan had wanted to leave because of the poverty, but when she knows that Yao-chin has called himself king, she dreams of being a queen. Li Tsing and Hsuan Hwa are surrounded by Yang Su's men. Chin Chiung passes by and helps them. Li begs Chin to tell Chang San.-lang. The three then parts with each other. Li Tsing and Hsuan Hwa went to a deserted house. Li is seriously injured and fainted. Hsuan Hwa takes good care of him. Chin Chiung goes to Tai Yan to tell Chang San-lang about Li Tsing. Everybody is worried and goes to help Li rightaway. Wu Gou wants to follow, but Sh Min tricks her to stay. Wu Gou is angry with Sh Min……

Yan Gan helps Li Tsing and Mrs Esuan Hwa. Xua Gi arrives and starts killing. Yan Gan fights with him. The no-name Taoist helps Li-and Hsuan Hwa escape. Li Tsing and Esuan Hwa go through the mountains to escape. Hsuan Hwa suffers a lot and hurts her feet. Li Tsing finds a cave and let Hsuan Hwa recover. Chang San-lang knows that Lan Lingtold Yang Kuang about Li Tsing and Hsuan Hwa, causing them to be in trouble. He scolds Lan Ling. Lan Ling promises to keep their future movements a secret. Xung Fu Nu goes to help Li Tsing. Chang is afraid that she may be in danger and thus goes with Lan Ling to search for them. (along the public path) Chang San-lang and Lan Ling meet Xua Gi. Xua Gi tries to cover up his behaviour and cause Lan Ling to be suspicious. She also suspects Yang Kuang. Wu Gou is also there and decides to go with others to look for Li Taing. Li Tsing and Hsuan Hwa fall in love with each other……

Li Tsing kills the peasant Hsuan Hwa wants Li to go away to save his life. Li refuses and wants to go to Ti Chi with Hsuan Hwa. Meanwhile, Xung Fu Nu, Yan Gan and Chang San-lang all feel that Li will be going to Ti Chi and go there. Li Tsing and Hsuan Hwa are in danger at the border. Xung Fu Nu saves them. Xung Fu Nu discovers that Li and Hsuan Hwa are in love on their way to Ti Chi. Xung feels embarrassed. Chang, etc, and Yao-chin meet. Wu Gou and Bai Mu Dan are both in love with the wrong man and have sympathy for each other. Wu Gou helps Bai force Yao-chin marry her. Bai Mu Dan wants to follow suit to force Chang San-lang marry wu Gou, but is tricked by Chang when he finds out. Lan Ling suggests to Chang San-lang they go to the West and be hermits. Chang points out that Lan Ling is trying to avoid facing Yang Kuang. Lan Ling denies and the two part unhappily……

Yan Gan forces Chang San-lang to give Iisuan Hwa in exchange for Xung ru Nu. Chang refuses and decides to go back to Chang An. Xung Fu Nu is imprisoned at Ye's Palace. Xung begs Su's wife to help her. Su's wife wants Su to release Xung but is reprimanded by Su. She then cries in front of Queen Siu. Queen Siu tells Yang Kuang, Yang Kuang persuades Su's wife to him about Kuang's movement. Hsuan awa tells everybody about Kuang assassinating his father to get the throne. Lan Zing says Esuan Hwa is falsely accusing Kuang and does not believe. To save Xung Fu Nu,-Yao-chin, Wu Gou and Chin Chiung go to kidnap Yan Gan; but are surrounded. Chang San-lang and Li Tsing go to help. Everybody is captured. Lan Ling knows that Chang San-lang and others are captured. She goes to Yang Su. Bo Li S and others seize the opportunity to attack and rescue Chang San-lang and others.

Yang's wife finds out that Mrs Hsuan Hwa is sill alive anal is imprisoned in Ye's Palace. She then tells Yang Kuang; Yang Kuang orders Lan Ling to go kill Hsuan Hwa. Siang-r secretly gets into Yang's home to investigate Hsuan Hwa's whereabouts. At the same time, Chang San-lung gets the news that Rsuan Hwa is still alive and at once goes to save her. Siang-r finds Hsuan Hwa and when she is about to act, Lan Ling appears and captures Hsuan Hwa. Siang-r runs after her and meets Chang San-lang. The twp women accuse each other of attempting to kill Hsuan Hwa. While they are fighting, a mysterious man appears, kills Hsuan Hwa and leaves. Chang San-lang thinks Lan Ling's men killed Hsuan Hwa and breaks with Lan Ling. Since Siang-r was lost, she was saved by the Bitter monk who taught her kung-fu. Siang-r brings Chang San-lung to see the Bitter monk, but the monk does not want to see him……

Chang San-lang and Li Mi wants to win Yan Gan by their wisdom. Yang Su is very proud on the birthday party. During the feast, the news that Yan Gan has lost, causes Yang Kuang to be very angry. He then gives Yan Gan's authority to Sh Min and says he will punish Yan Gan. Su's wife goes to Queen Siu and Yang Kuang to beg for mercy. Yang Kuang is not moved. Yang Su tied up his son and takes him to the Palace to ask for mercy. Yang Kuang finally sentences Yan Gan to half year's imprisonment. Su's wife thought that Su's light sentence was all due to her and boasts to Yang Su. Yang Su knows that it was his wife who revealed his deeds and kills her. Lan Ling dates Chang San-lang. At that time, Chang has already guessed that it was Lan Ling who attacked Dragon Hill and scolds her. Lan Ling swears she will never harm Chang. The two show their true feelings and are friends again……

Yang Kuang wants to force Yang Su to revolt so as-to have a reason to kill him. Kuang first accuses Yan Can of absconding and kills him. Yang Su gets angry and sends for his 6 troops to come to the capital in preparation for overthrowing the throne. Yang Kuang says it is Kao Li who is rioting and wants to attack him. He asks Yang Su to give up his troops. Yang Su knows Yang Kuang wants to strip off his power and follow the plot. When the six soldiers arrive at the capital. Yang Su asks them to follow Yang Kuang and revolt on the way to force Kuang to abdicate. Chang San-lang knows Yang Kuang and Yang Su will fight against each other and is worried about Lan Ling's safety. Xung Fu Nu and Li Tsing decides to accompany Chang to the capital. Yang Kuang and his troops are out, and orders Lan Ling to take care of the capital……

Yang Su wants to die with Lan Ling. Chang San-lang, Li Tsing and Xung Fu Nu arrive to save them. Yang Kuang captures Yang Su and orders his men to arrest the three. Lan Ling and the three escape. Lan Ling questions Yang Kuang after helping Chang San-lang and others escape. Yang Kuang tries to cover up what he did. Lan Ling does not truly believe him. Yang Kuang abuses Yang Su. Yang Su seizes an opportunity and wants to kill Yang Kuang and himself. He is finally killed. In order to revenge for Yao-chin killing his son Yu Wen Shu encourages Yang Xuang to attack Dragon Hill. Yang Kuang orders Sh Min to attack hoping that they will all be hurt. Lan Ling tells Chang San-lang that Sh Min will attack Dragon Hill. Chang and others at once go to Dragon Hill to warn them. When Yao-chin gets the news and wants to leave with others, Sh Min and soldiers have already arrived……

Wang Shih-chung tries to get men to build the Canal and is involved in corruption with Yu Wen Sh causing the people to suffer and complain. Chin Yao-chin and others arrive at Wa Gang Zhai, Di Rhang wants everybody to join to deal with Yang Kuang. Yao-chin agrees. Di Rhang is very harsh which Yao-chin and others are not used to. They suggest letting everybody have plenty and a tight training schedule. Di Rhang agrees and let Yao-chin take care of business in-the city. Not long afterwards, the food storage of the Wa Gang city, is used up. Yao-chin and others go into the town to get money for food. However, all people are poor and there is nobody for them to rob. Yao-chin finally borrows money from Wu Gou. Sh Min meets them and suggests Yao-chin ask Chang San-lang for help. Yao-chin thus goes to the under ground city to look for Chang……

Chang San-lang and the corrupt officials are in the silk business and are very powerful in the area. They order the release of Yao-chin and others. Chang San-lang knows what Lan Ling did, is very angry and swears to kill Lan Ling for revenge. Meanwhile, Lan Ling has arrived and threatens to kill the corrupt officials so as to force Chang San-lang get rid of Siang-r and close the silk business in three days. Li Tsing has investigated the life of the people, and tells Chang San-lang about the poverty. He persuades Chang San-lang to revolt but Chang thinks it is not yet the right time. Yao-chin wants Chang to join them in the city, but Chang refuses and everybody is disappointed. However, Siang-r is happy. Li Tsing and Yao-chin still want Chang San-lang to revolt. Siang-r is very worried. Lan Ling suddenly appears and says they can cooperate to prevent Chang San-lang from revolt if Siang-r will leave Chang……

When Li Tsing and his wife see that Chang San-lang will not revolt, they return to the Wa Gang city. Siang-r sees that her work is finished; but to keep her promise, she does not say anything and leaves Chang. Lan Ling also leaves for the capital. Yang Kuang orders the attack of Kao Li, causing his people to undergo more sufferings. Lan Ling tries to persuade Yang Kuang, but Kuang does not listen. When Li Tsing and others return to the Wa Gang city, they find Chang San- lang. In fact, Chang has already made an agreement with Di Rhang not to take any action for the time being but to prepare themselves. Yang Kuang meets Yu Wen Xua Gi and his wife Xua Su Kin and is interested. He forces her to stay in the Palace. Xua Gi does not openly oppose to but has decided to turn against Kuang. Lan Ling finds out about Yang Kuang and is very disappointed……

Despite Yao-chin and others' disagreement, Chang San-lang goes to help Lan Zing. Chang is just in time to save Lan Ling whe she is surrounded by soldiers. Chang San-lang takes Lan Ling back to the Wa Gang city to treat her wounds; but his love for her is no longer there. Chang treats Lan Ling coldly; Yao-chin and others do not talk to her and want heV'to go. Di Rhang lets Lan Ling stay. Bai Mu Dan is pregnant. Lan Ling gets the support of Bai and Chin's mother,- and make Yao-chin do all the housework. Gian De wants Di Rhang to send his troops to revolt. Di Rhang wants to keep his promise to Chang San-lang and refuses. Gian De is disappointed and leaves Wa Gang Zhai to rob Wang Shih Chung; but coincidentally runs into Li Mi who is about to assassinate Shih Chung. The two lose and are chased after. In the commotion, the two part. Gian De goes back to Wa Gang Zhai to get help. Li Mi is injured and runs away……

Chin Yao-chin sends his men to dress as soldiers to capture Li Mi so as to force him to Wa Gang Zhai. Li Mi realizes the trick, but still agrees to join Wa Gang Zhai. Chang San-lang and others welcome him, but Lan Ling is not pleased. Di Rhang gives a feast to welcome Li Mi. During the feast, Siang-r who is injured arrives and tells everybody that there is a spy in the place. She then fainted. Chang San-lang carefully looks after Siang-r. Lan Ling sees it and is jealous. Xung Fu Nu consoles her. Di Rhang orders everybody to be careful of spies. People are on the guard against Lan Ling. Lan Ling goes to see Siang-r saying that she is planning a conspiracy. The two start to quarrel. Chang San-lang arrives and rebukes Lan Ling. Siang-r tries to help Lan Ling, but Lan Ling is not grateful. Di Rhang, Chang San-lang and Li Mi want to get the spy and set a trap. Lan Ling is trapped and is nearly captured……

Bai Mu Dan discovers that Lan Ling is suspicious and tells Yao-chin. Yao-chin tMinks Lan Ling is a spy and wants to kill her. Chang San-lang stops Mim and guarantees that Lan Ling is innocent. . Yao-chin unwillingly promises to stop. Yang Kuang spends all Mis time on fun and does not care about Mis national affairs. Yu Wen Xua Gi reports that there are riots in the West. But Yang does not pay any attention and orders moving the capital to Lo Iang causing Mis people a lot of sufferings. Chang San-lang hears that the head of Shu, Yang Siu will first move to Lo Iang and decides to rob them on their way. Lan Ling eavesdrops. She pretends that she does not want to be suspected by Yao-chin and leaves. She goes to tell Yang Siu to take another way; she and her brother have a short meeting. At the same time, the secret agents have captured Doctor Dun for Yang Siu. Yang Siu is happy……

Siang-r sees Lan Ling sends her pigeon but does not understand her intention. Lan Ling feels relieved. Siang-r is gentle to Chang San-lang. Chang is grateful. Lan Ling sees it and is unhappy. She takes the initiative to be friends with others; but other people are on guard against her and do not accept her. Lan Ling loses her temper. Siang-r is poisoned after eating Lan Ling's buns. Everybody accuses Lan Ling, but Siang-r defends Lan Ling. However, Lan Ling says that Siang-r's intentions are suspicious. Chang San-lang rebukes Lan Ling. Li Mi finds out that Siang-r is poisoned by Miao Giang poisons, and cures her. Siang-r wants to be friends with Lan Ling but Lan Ling does not respond. Siang-r is embarrassed. Du Fu Wei is assassinated. Di Rhang thinks it was done by the no-name Monk. Everybody thinks Lan Lind is a spy and searches her room, but cannot find any evidence. They then force Lan Ling to reveal the location of the spy camp……

Lan Ling agrees with Di Rhang and finally forces Di Rhang to let her go. Siang-r sees that she cannot turn the situation, she and Chang San-lang are sad. Yang Kuang moves the capital to Lo Iang. Everything is fresh to him and he spends his time enjoying himself. He also orders Sh Min to select girl citizens for him. Wang Shih Chung pleases Yang Kuang and gets promoted. Yang Kuang soon feels bored, SHih Chung suggests cruising Giang Du, Yang Kuang happily agrees. Chang San-lang knows that Yang will go cruising and decides to assassinate him. He orders Siang-r to tell Li Tsing and His wife to take the best men to the underground city to control Yang Kuang's soldiers. Chang and others thus rush into the boat to kill Yang. Yang Kuang has all kinds of luxuries in His cruise; but the men who work in the boat are abused. Lan Ling knows that Chang and others are about to act and tells Yang Kuang……

Bai Mu Dan says she is hurt by a woman who dressed in men's clothes. She then dies; Yao-chin is very sad. Chang San-Lang and others are worried that the underground city may be in danger and rush there. On their way, they save Siang-r who is seriously injured. Siang-r is hurt while going to the underground city; she was harmed by a woman who dressed in men's clothes. Everybody is worried about Wa Gang Zhai and wants to go back quickly. Chang and others are relieved when they see that everybody at Wa Gang Zhai is fine. After a discussion, they conclude that Lan Ling is the culprit and swear to kill her for revenge. Lan Ling suddenly appears before Chang San-lang and apologizes for warning Yang Kuang to move to another boat. She denies killing Bai Mu Dan or Siang-r. Yao-chin and others discover Lan Ling and want to kill her. Lan Ling attacks Di Rhang and escape……

Chang San-lang does not want Lan Ling to be killed by people other than him and thus goes to kill her. Lan Ling has many times been the object of assassination. Bo Li S has also died, sword man Siang saves Lan Ling, but on their way to escape, they are attacked by the no-name Taoist. The no-name Taoist finds out that sword man Siang has been paid by Yang Kuang to kill Lan Ling. The no-name Taoist saves Lan Ling and takes his adopted girl Siao Cian together to Yang Siu. However, Yang Siu has already been sent for by Yang Kuang, they then go to the king of Han. On their way, Lan Ling and others meet Chang San-lung and Li Mi. Lan Ling and others Mide themselves to eavesdrop and hear Chang swearing to kill Lan Ling. Lan Ling is very sad. Lan Ling makes an appointment with the King of Han. The King of Han is afraid that going with Lan Ling will cause Him trouble and thus sets up a trap to Lan Ling……

Lan Ling feels that there is no more meaning in life and wants to drown her in a river. Yang Kuang saves her and mocks her. Lan Ling decides that she will fight with Yang Kuang. Sh Min and Wu you are always arguing, but the two are deeply in love. The two go to Xuai An to visit Lan Ling. Yao-chin knows that Lan Ling is going to marry the prince of Te Chi and wants to stop them on their way. Chang San-lang does not have the heart to go along and gives His sword to Yao-chin asking Him to kill Lan Ling with the sword. Wu Gou goes into the palace to visit Lan Ling. Lan Ling is watched by Xua Gi and cannot speak much. Wu Gou feels suspicious and gets ride of Xua Gi. After discussing with Sh Min, they decide to tell Chang San-lung through Wa Gang Zhai to save Lan Ling. Chang San-lung gets the news from Wu Gou and changes His thoughts about Lan Ling. He decides to go rescue Lan Ling. Siang-r tries to stop Him but fails because of Wu Gou.

Yao-chin and others go to kill Lan Ling. Chang covers up His face and comes to save Lan Ling and puts her in a cave. He also says he suspects that Siang-r is the real spy. Lan Ling takes Chang San-lang to see U Liang Monk and proves that the Mute monk is not Siang-r's mentor. Chang San-lang begins to suspect Siang-r and wants to go back to Wa Gang Zhai to investigate. Lan Ling sees that she does not have all the faith of Chang, is angry and leaves. Yao-chin and others find out that Chang San-lung let Lan Ling go and are angry. Yao-chin wants to kill Chang. Siang-r is seriously injured when she tries to save Chang. Chang is puzzled by Siang-r's behavior and discusses with Xung Fu Nu. The two decide to secretly investigate. Xua Gi and others go to kill Lan Ling. Lan Ling is losing. Wu Gou comes and saves Lan Ling. Lan Ling is moved and weeps. Sh Min is waiting for Wu Gou at Gao Iu……

Yao-chin and others thought Chang San-Tang killed Di Rhang and surround Chang and Xung Fu Nu. While they are about to fight, Li Tsing comes back and takes Yao-chin's word. He helps Yao-chin and others to arrest Chang San-lung, Xung Fu Nu and put them in custody. Siang-r lets Chang and Xung out of the stone chamber. Chang thinks Li Tsing is only checking out spies and goes to see Li. However, in fact, Li Tsing hates Chang and xung and gets all the people to come and capture them. Chang and Xung escape and are saved by Sh Min. Sh Min puts Chang and Xung at Gao Iu. At the same time, Wu Gou has, brought Lan Ling there. Lan Ling and Chang argue causing Sh Min and Wu Gou to be worried about them. Later, Chang and Lan Ling are friends again. Chang decides to go back to the underground city. Lan Ling and Xung want to follow Him. Li Tsing is depressed since Xung Fu Nu lost. He is drunk all the time though Li Mi persuades Him not to drink……

Li Tsing boldly returns to Wa Gang Zhai. Li Mi sees that Li Tsing is well again; thus very happy. Chang San-Lang gets men and buy horses at Ping Iang and is seen by Chin Chiung and Yao-chin. They tell Li Mi. Li Mi decides to send His men to fight Chang. At the same time, the spy also wants to see Li Tsing and orders Him to fight Chang with all His power. Li Tsing wants to find out the true identity of the mysterious man but fails. He thus follows His order. Siang-r goes to Ping Iang Province to warn Chang San-lang. Chang has already gone to the underground city. Lan Ling and Xung Fu Nu do not believe Siang-r; sung-r wants to commit suicide to prove her words. Xung saves Siang-r. The three go to warn others. On their way, they are stopped by Li Tsing and His men. Siang-r and Xung Fu Nu are captured. Lan Ling escapes. Li Tsing wants to use the life of Xung Fu Nu to get Chang San-lang……

Li Tsing reprimands Li Mi and thought Li Mi will kill Him. However, Li Mi persuades Li Tsing to join Him. After some thinking, Li Tsing decides to cooperate with Li Mi. He also discovers that Siang-r is also working with Li Mi anal that Siang-r has killed Bai Mu Dan. In fact, Piang-r and Li Mi are lost brothers and sisters. They recognize each other when they fight in Te Chi and lost contact with Chang and others. Because of brotherly love, Siang-r helps Li and becomes a spy against Ch ang San-lang and others. Siang-r is unhappy. Li Yan tricks Yang Kuang to release Sh Min back to Tai Yan. Xua Gi knows Yang Kuang is no longer a fierce man and determines to overthrow Kuang. Xua Gi decides to take over Wa Gang Zhai and secretly tells Li Mi to give up His troops. Li Mi is already well prepared and decides to break with Xua Gi. He leads the people of Wa Gang Zhai to oppose Xua Gi. Xua Gi loses and finally knows Li Mi……

Li Mi wants to use their brotherly love to make Siang-r stay. Siang-r pretends to agree and waits for her chance to escape. She goes back to tell Chang San-lang. Chang is afraid that Siang-r is trying to find out about them and is cold to Siang-r. Li Tsing takes His men to ambush the underground city. Chang San-lung finds out and orders Taoist Sun to bring a letter to Li Tsing to propose a peaceful solution. Li Tsing refuses and attacks the underground city. To avoid any great danger, Chang San-lang captures Yao-chin and Chin Chiung to force Li Tsing to retreat. But Li disregards Yao-chin and Chin's safety and wants to fight with Chang. When they are about to start the battle, Sh Min and His troops arrive and force Li to retreat. Chang San-lang discovers that Siang-r has fainted because of cold and starvation. He saves her and takes her back to the underground city……

Siang-r does not want to kill Lan Ling and begs Chang San-lung to take Lan Ling away from the mainland. Chang refuses. Lan Ling knows about the matter and is suspicious of Siang-r's intention. Lan Ling secretly guards against Siang-r and discovers that she had wanted to kill her but did not. Lan Ling is puzzled. At the same time, Li Mi presses Siang-r to kill Lan Ling. Siang-r and Lan Ling go into the mountain to collect herbs. Siang-r leads Lan Ling to a trap set by Li Mi. Xung Fu Yu saves Lan Ling, who is slightly injured. To get the man behind Siang-r, Lan Ling and Chang San-lung pretend they are dead after drinking Siang-r's poison. Chang then follows Siang-r. At that time, Li Tsing has secretly gone into the underground city and tells Xung Fu Nu about His plans against Li Mi. He also asks Xung Fu Nu to go to rescue Chang San-lang……

Li Mi wants to investigate everybody in the city. Li Tsing pretends he is well. Lin Tian sacrifices him to make Li Mi believe Li Tsing. Siang-r lost her memory after being accidentally hit by Li Mi. She runs away from lea Gang Zhai. Li Mi searches the whole place but cannot find the letter. Li Mi orders Li Tsing, Yao-chin and Chin Chiung to find out about Yang Kuang's movements. But in fact he has ordered Li Tsing to look for the secret letter. Li Tsing parts with Yao-chin and Chin, and goes to the underground city to tell Chang San-lang and ask all of them to look for Siang-r. After staying in His forty different palaces, Yang Kuang decides to go to the South. He gets young girls to pull His boat and orders the citizens to give food and shelter to foreigners. Siang-r is roaming around and is caught to be one of the girls to pull the boat. Yang Kuang is attracted by Siang-r and gives her a title……

Li Mi and Wa Gang Zhai's men arrive at Chiang Du and finds that other troops which are against Sui have also arrived. Li Mi tells everybody to be careful and wait and see. Li Mi and Li Tsing go into the dragon boat to look for Siang-r. They fight with the guards. At the same time, other troops have arrived. The situation is chaotic. Li Mi and Li Tsing cannot do anything and leave. Queen Siu is afraid that the troops will come again and persuades Yang Kuang to move to Gao Iu. Yang Kuang agrees and orders Yu Wen Shu to repair the boat in ten days. When Chang San-lang and others go into the boat to look for Siang-r, they find that she has followed Yang Kuang to Gao Iu. They go there immediately. Li Mi feels that other troops will Minder His plans and suggests that they all join together. In fact, he is looking for the chance to kill all of them. Lan Ling and Chang San-lang arrive at Gao Iu……

During the meeting with other troops, Li Mi suggests that they join power. He also says that the first one who can get the jade from the tomb of Xia Y will be the leader. Li Mi also says that he will not join the race. Everybody thinks that Li Mi is generous and benevolent and has high respect for him. Sh Min knows that Li Mi must have other conspiracies. He sends someone to tell Wu Gi to come with His troops to help. Li Tsing follows Li Mi into the ancient tomb and discovers that he has hired workers to set up traps and finally killed all the workers. Li Mi sees that Li Tsing has learnt about His plans and tells Li Tsing that he will destroy all the troops. Li Tsing wants to tell Chang San-lang, but Li Mi has put Tsing under close supervision. Wu Gou cures Siang-r. Siang-r says she lost her sword cover in the dragon boat. Chang San-lang decides to divide themselves into three branches……

Li Mi causes the troops to disbelief Li Tsing and secretly operates the troops to put Chang and the other two in custody. Li Mi wants to kill Chang San-lang and others. Siang-r comes and reveals Li Mils plots. Yao-chin and Chin Chiung half believe what they hear. To remove all witnesses, Li Ki injures Siang-r. Lan Ling arrives and shows the secret letter about Li Mi and Xua Gi's collaboration. However, nobody believes her. Li Mi captures Lan-Ling. Sh Min takes ten thousand soldiers with Him to help. Li Mi is forced to release Chang San-lang and others. But he insists on taking Siang-r with Him. Yao-chin and Chin Chiung realize.-the real character of Li Mi and decide to follow Chang San-lang. Sh Min sees that the matter is solved and goes back to Tai Yan. Xua Gi encourages Yang Kuang to fight against Li Yan. Yang Kuang orders Li Yan to build a palace in three months' time and have Xua Gi supervise Li……

Episode 52 Yang Kuang goes to the new palace and 3s very satisfied. Sh Min tells Li Yan to bribe Queen Siu so that she will speak well about Li in front of Yang Kuang. Yang Kuang finally decides to abandon His plans against Li Yan. Xua Gi is unhappy about it. Xua Gi falsely accuses Li Yan that he has built Pu Yang palace for Himself. Yang Kuang is very angry and interrogates Li Yan. Sh Min is calm and gets evidence to let Yang Kuang know Xua Gils plot. However, Yang Kuang still sends Gao Gyn Ia and Wang Wei to keep an eye on Li Yan. Sh Min persuades Li Yan to revolt against Sui; Li refuses. Gian Cheng Yan Gi arranges to force Li Yan to revolt but Li discovers about it and reprimands Him. Sh Min causes Gao and Wang to think that Li Yan has decided to revolt. They want to arrest Li. Li finally kills them and agrees to revolt. Yang Kuang knows that Li Yan is going to revolt and sends Xua Gi to attack Him……

Chang San-lang and Fan Ling come to meet the appointment. Wen Zing is rude and the two are angry. Later, Sh Min comes and suggests that they join force. Chang cannot decide. Lan Ling knows that Chang is guarding Himself against Wen Zing. She secretly goes to see Sh Min and wants Him to kill Wen ping. Sh Min refuses. Wen Zing eavesdrops and is afraid. She encourages Li Yan to go against Chang San-lang. Li Yan sends Sh Min away and wants to kill Chang San-lang. Lan Ling knows and captures Li Yan forcing Him to leave Tai Yan. Sh Min comes to help settle the matter but fails. Chang San-lang releases Li Yan after leaving Tai Yan. Li Yan is ashamed and angry and decides to go against Chang. The revolting troops are winning; Yang Kuang feels that His days are gone and says that when Giang Du is taken, all citizens should die. Chang San-lang hears about it and is angry……

Chang San-lang rescues Lan Ling. Xua Gi makes King Chin, Yang Kuang's nephew, to be emperor. Xua Gi holds all the power and controls all national affairs.. Xua Gi abuses Su Kin. Su Kin finally commits suicide. Queen Siu is anxious and afraid. Wang Shih Chung controls Lo Iang and have Ye King the new emperor. Sh Min already has a contract with the commander at Tung Guan. Sh Min decides to first attack Tung Guan and then Lo Iang. Chang San-lang has also decided to attack Tung Guan to fight with Sh Min. Li Mi goes to see. SHih hung and bribes Him to join with Him to attack Tung Guan. SHih Chung agrees. Cwing to the heavy rain, the troops at Tai Yan are stuck. They also face food shortage. Sh Min orders them to march forward. Despite great difficulties, Wu Gou comes to join them; Sh Min is grateful. Li Yan does not want to risk and orders the troops to retreat. Sh Min tells Him about all advantages and disadvantages……

Chang San-lang decides to first fight with Li Mi to revenge for Siang-r and then attack Tung Guan. Lan Ling disagrees but cannot stop Chang. Commander Liu knows that Chang San-lung and His troops are at the city gates but do not attack. He begins to suspect their power and orders other people to join and defend. Finally, they gain control over Li Tsing and His wife. Chang and Him troops easily win over Li Mi. Chang captures Li Mi. However, he listens to Siang-r's words when she was dying and does not kill Li Mi. Lan Ling wants to assassinate Li Mi but is stopped by Chang. Lan Ling is angry. Sh Min and His troops arrive at Tung Guan and decide to attack in the morning. Wu Gou encourages Him. Sh Min and His men are confident. Xyng in and Bo Dang rescue Li Mi and set the camps on fire. Though Chang San-lang calms the matter, the troops are discouraged. Chang thus decides to first pacify the troops……

Sh Min unconditionally releases Li Tsing and His wife and decides to give Chang San-lang half of the food he has robbed. Chang is grateful and decides not to fight with Sh Min and retreats. Chang San-lang and His troops sail off. However, Wen Zing has planted explosives in the Ships to kill them all. Sh Min rebukes Wen Zing and goes to rescue Chang after he finds out the plot. Chang San-lang's boat exploded. Taoist Sun and the no-name Taoist died while trying to rescue others. Only a few manage to escape. Chang San-lang hates Sh Min. Sh Min thinks Chang San-lang.is dead and wants to kill Himself to repent. Wen Zing stops Him and persuades Him to consider their situation. Wu Gou has misunderstood Sh Min and thinks Sh Min has no consideration for friendship. Later, Wu Gou knows the truth and consoles Sh Min. Chang San-lang decides to wait for the chance to revenge and take Lan Ling and others to the West……

Gian Cheng requests that Li Yan sends Him to lead the troops. Sh Min wants to resign. "Li Yan makes Gian Cheng commander and sends Sh Min to supervise the transport of food. Gian Cheng and His troops have attacked Giang Du. Xua Gi threatens the lives of the people to force Gian Cheng to retreat. However, Gian Cheng pays no attention and orders His troops to attack. Wu Gi tries to persuade. Him, but Gian Cheng is angry and executes Wu Oi. Sh Min comes to stop Gian Cheng, Gian Cheng is furious and wants to kill Sh Min. Sh Min has no other way and thus takes out the commander badge that Li Yan had given Him. He gets back the command over the troops. Gian Cheng is very angry. Sh Min uses a trick, captures Xua Gi and gives Him to the people of Giang Du. Xua Gi loses Himself and wants to kill His men. He finally commits suicide. Chang San-lang knows that Cha Wa Lung Tu S is abusing the citizens. He sends Yao-chin to deal with Him……

Li Mi offers to give up Xo Nan Siang Yang to surrender. Li Yan tries His best to protect Li Mi and does not allow Sh Min to kill Him. Sh Min tries to persuade Li Yan. Wen Zing persuades Sh Min to wait for His chance. Wu Gou sees that she cannot kill Li Mi to revenge for Yan Ba. She thus seizes the chance to insult Li Mi in front of others and tells everybody about Li Mi's behaviour. Li Mi is embarrassed. Li Yan urges Li Mi to give up His two cities. Li Mi says that he is afraid that Sh Min will harm Him and refuses. Li Yan thus rebukes Sh Min. Gian Cheng stirs up more arguments. Li Mi uses beautiful girls to please Gian Cheng Yan Gi and gets His trust. Sh Min disregards Li Yan and sends His men to kill Li Mi. But they fail. Gian Cheng thus tells Li Yan that Sh Min has attempted to kill them to get their titles. Later, Sh Min proves that he was only trying to kill Li Mi. Li Yan thus reprimands Him……

Chang San-lang knows that soldiers of Tang are coming and is angry. He decides to fight till all His men are gone. Chang San-lang cannot defend themselves from the Tang soldiers. They decide to abandon the city and use terroristic tactics. Gian Cheng Yan Gi is injured. The situation thus changes. Li Yan knows that Gian Cheng has lost. He thus releases Sh Min and orders Him to help Gian Cheng. Sh Min thus goes. Li Mi persuades Gian Cheng's troops to revolt and arrest Gian Cheng Yan Gi. Sh Min arrives when Li Mi is trying to kill Gian Cheng. Finally, Gian Cheng Yan Gi is rescued. Li Mi kidnaps a citizen's family and finally escapes. Sh Min goes to see Chang San-lang and says that he did all the wrong. Sh Min says he will kill Himself for peace. Wu Gou arrives and says that Wen ping and Li Mi are the real culprits. Chang San-lung understands Sh Min and promises to stop fighting……

Te Chi's soldiers march to Chang An. Tang's soldiers are weakened after fighting with Chang San-lang. Gian Cheng Yan Gi is frightened and persuades Li Yan to abandon the city to go to Lo Iang. Sh Min opposes and wants Li Yan to stay in the city to encourage the soldiers. Li Yan agrees. Te Chi's soldiers surround Chang An. Sh Min knows that they have difficulty in winning and is worried. Wu Gou suggests getting help from Chang San-lang. Sh Min does not want to give trouble to Chang and refuses. Wu Gou disregards Sh Min and goes to see Chang San-lang and begs Him to send His soldiers to help. Chang agrees. Chang San-lang and Sh Min's soldiers defeat Te Chi. Te Chi Ke Pan suggests making peace. Li Mi wants to escape but is stopped by Chang San-lang. After a fight, Chang kills Li Mi. Li Yan gives Li Tsing and His wife, Yao-chin, Chin Chiung and Lan Ling titles. Chang San-lang refuses any title or gifts; Li Yan is unhappy……
