XVI to the century. XX. In each episode a century of the history of Portugal is analyzed through the gastronomy and habits of the time. The main character is one of Chef´s, who explores a cookbook published in this century, with the help of scholars and specialists in the field, who make the necessary historical background, revealing curiosities and facts. At the end of the episode, the Chef chooses a recipe from the book to recreate, respecting the methods and using their ingredients in seasonal kitchens.
