Jimmy witnesses an accident, when two street jumpers cause a car crash, leaving a single mother to die. Tom and Fien visit Stef Vertongen, the Sports Council, in order to get the names of the local street jumpers. Just when he is about to talk, Vertongen gets blackmailed and decides not to cooperate. Dani takes a decision about her relationship with Maxime. Today is the big day for Mike and Els, but at their wedding they get an unexpected visit.

A man is firmly gagged in a car which gets deliberately pulverized. Tom and Fien discover the car was stolen one week ago in Kiev, but have no idea on the identity of the victim and the reason to kill him. Jimmy has a date with a beautiful girl he met on Facebook. Tom gets extremely angry towards Lucas.

While Marijke Wijnant is taking a shower, her boyfriend Kris Vervecken gets brutally killed in their living room. Both worked as officers in the army and so Tom and Fien go to the barracks to look for a starting point. They soon find one in person of Dieter Landuyt, a newcomer who felt humiliated after his baptism by "the fantastic four", a group of close friends consisting of Kris and his colleagues Steven, Rudy and Bruno. Meanwhile Seppe tells Inez that the Alva-clan needs a new leader after the death of Rodrigo and Dimitri.

Soccer trainer Franky De Maeyer gets beaten into coma in the locker room. Fien stands alone when she is called to the scene, because Tom prefers spending his free time with Inez. Fien discovers Franky must have felt himself threatened, as he had recently requested a gun permission. But who was after him and why? Lucas confronts Tom with his private investigation. Mike is once again doing shady businesses and fears that it will now only take hours for his colleagues to find out.

Dirk Van de Vijver is trapped blindfolded in a basement. When his business partner Carl Verswyfelt receives a envelop carrying one of Dirk's fingers and a letter which requests 200,000 euros ransom, Tom and Fien are put on the case. They soon discover that Van de Vijver embezzled money from different clients and think maybe one of them is now using this cruel way to get his or her money back. Meanwhile Lucas asks Jimmy to spy on Tom in order to find out more about his private investigation.

The janitor of the local soccer stadium discovers a body which hands were amputated post mortem. Tom and Fien think about a ritual murder or a link with Mexican drug cartels, but Lucas thinks they are looking to far. He meanwhile asks pathologist Lathouwers why Tom wants him to secretly investigate a weapon. Fien notices Tom has a growing drinking problem and warns him for the possible consequences.

In the middle of the night a young boy witnesses the murder of a prostitute. The next morning he is brought to the police station, after being found by a passerby. When little Lode makes a drawing of the murder, Tom and Fien start an investigation. Meanwhile Mike tells his colleague Jimmy that he is willing to get engaged. Jimmy also has big news: he will take part in the admission tests for the SWAT team. Tom thinks someone is planning to kill him.

Fien visits Tom and asks him to go back to work. He refuses, definitely now he remembers that he killed his own father. Meanwhile Fien and Lucas are called to a motel room for a cruel double murder.

Informer Ruige calls a marker when he finds his sister raped and beaten into Intensive Care. As a harlot, her shady life is riddled with potential suspects. furthermore, the building includes some suspicious characters and was repeatedly robbed. Commissioner Neefs fails to cover up Fien's influential pa Jean-Yves Bosvoorde is the prime suspect, as she provides DNA test material, yet keeps trying to prove him innocent. Tom's memory is finally triggered concerning child-abuse by his lush dad Ray and the brute's traumatic end.

Violent gang leader Dimitri Alva is sprung from return back to jail after his appeal failed. After murdering front construction firm accomplice Petrus Thijssen, he concentrates on revenging his pa's death during a fight with Tom, who meanwhile continues digging into his own abusive lush pa's death. Mike saves Tom's life when trapped by a tip trough Ruige Ronnie. Commissioner Neefs can't get the team to leave things to the feds, even gets actively involved. Mike faces a dilemma when his lover's adolescent son Stijn in kidnapped to blackmail him.

Tom suspects Maarten De Ryck of the basement murder on a women looking alike Fien, she stands by her lover, who has an alibi. Plumber Patrick Libotte, Maarten wildest fan, makes a confession Fien chooses to believe, Lucas and Tom see trough. Tom hires Ruige to help investigate his father's death in the 1970s. Jimmy is finally recovered enough to return to duty, but feels guilty having developed his own substance problem.

Antwerp fashion designer David Lemmens is fatally stabbed with scissors by a masked nightly intruder, who also vandalized colleague Jonas Vandevelde's collection in textile manufacturer Walter de Loneville's postgraduates institute's workshop. Jonas may have been the actual target, perhaps for scorned gay lover and sugar daddy Koen Deweerdt, who reveals David accused Jonas of stealing from his designs. If it appears that the victim was a fireman and later a fellow female firefighter is severely beaten, it is clear that it is not a coincidence. On the way to Tom's wedding, he and Mike witness how Jimmy is run over during an alcohol control by a speeding car driven by undercover Brik. Federal commissioner Wim Jacobs demands cooperation to catch Brik, whom he believed defected to Rodrigo Alva and son Dimitri Garcia's Russian synthetic drugs gang, which he infiltrated. Fien and Tom believe he's actually close to nailing the gang. Indeed he wins Rodrigo's trust, but brutish Dimitri is jealous.

The local neighborhood watch tips the police about the robbery on a Turkish electronics seller. Tom Segers and Esther Mathijs soon have their suspects, until a second robbery and even a murder bring up new motives. Didier Franckx meanwhile starts stalking Esther.

The colleagues of Gerard Gijsbrechts find his body in a hangar. The man got under an agricultural machine and had no chance to survive. The cable ties that are found next to the machine, let Tom Segers suspect that the man was murdered. His partner Dani doesn't want to expel an accident or suicide. The police investigate two strange disappearances: during the night the remains of an elderly woman were excavated from the cemetery, and only half a day later someone stole the body of the old governor out of the morgue. Didier meanwhile kidnaps Esther's daughter.

Jimmy can't believe his ears when he discovers Lucas's commitment in the dead of Fien, and urges him to go report himself. Meanwhile the police team is busy checking on the Antwerp taxi drivers, because it seems that one of them has brutally raped multiple of his female negroid clients.

Tom Segers witnesses a bank robbery. One of the culprits proves to be a patient of Veerle Goderis. In the meantime the concerns of Lucas have changed into happiness, now his ex wife Kathy has returned into his life. Veerle however develops a plan to get rid of her.

A young drug dealer is found strangled next to the local disco. His gay lover states he has nothing to do with the story, but the police soon find out the opposite. However, a second murder places everything in a totally different perspective. In the meantime Veerle keeps stalking Lucas.

After a female army officer walks in with a time bomb around her neck, the whole police station is evacuated. She survives after the payment of a 50,000 Euro ransom, but soon the culprit tries to harm another of her colleagues as well. Together with the motive, the police find out a secret about inspector Roel Swinnen.

The cruel murder of a prostitute leads Tom Segers and Esther Mathijs to the environment of Didier Franckx, the pimp that has been betrayed by the female inspector during an undercover operation. Franckx however proves not to be an easy catch.

After another alleged suicide by one of Veerle's patients, Tom Segers start to put the pieces together. He is shocked when medical examiner Lathouwers also finds a connection to the death of Jimmy N'Tongo and Kathy Vanparys. The mask of Lucas Neefs slightly falls off.

Tom Segers gets suspended, but continues his investigation on Veerle Goderis. Believing his colleague is in serious danger, Lucas Neefs shares his dark secret with Esther Mathijs. Veerle however responds too quick, making Tom look his own death into the eye.

The two Jeans are negligent when arresting a street vandal, one of them even looses his service gun; they decide to keep quiet, later must handle a father who threatens to drop his child from a deadly height unless the mother returns to him. Chief cares only for her daughters, victims of a hit and run; the eldest proves terminal. Tom and Danny give tracing the guilty car priority over a series of DVD thefts, but informer Ruige Ronny has an urgent tip to find Rosse ...

When Tom convinces the chief commissioner -whose husband Roy moves out 'to think about their relationship'- to raid a presumed whorehouse, they find it really houses illegals from Eastern Europe, possibly a case of 'modern slave trade' for prostitution. The two Jeans find a neighborhood terrorized by a youngsters' street gang, who scare possible witnesses out of testifying. Ivo fears he may have to leave to Antwerp PD to take care of his dementia-stricken wife. A jeweler reports his wife missing, she's found killed shortly after.

A jogger finds a naked young woman's corps, dead since days, killed on other soil, with multiple fractures and other wounds from elaborate torture. Snitch Ronny recognizes Ilena, one of the prostitutes in the Rumanian slaver's club Stars & Stripes, but the manager claims to be an unconnected owner; when another girl talks, she's run over... Thin Jean tries in vain to convince or threaten gay waiter Marcel into withdrawing his sexual harassment complaint against colleague fat Jean, but is only offered a 1,000 Euro pay-off; however he has a magic trick up his sleeve...

The Antwerp Zoo director reports repeated vandalism, no break-in.

When Geertrui, a mother, is slashed in her home, Tom concentrates on her husband Renaat. He admits to have had an affair with office colleague Caroline, who went missing. Ruige reports his girlfriend Tess, the daughter of senator Verbesselt, has been missing for a week, but is shamelessly ignored as usual. Only after he finds out she has serious gambling debts, Tom takes an interest in what proves to be the major case.

After a car hits student Jochen while out on his bike, a jeep refuses to stop and help his fiancée, but films the incident, which is later posted on Internet. When Ruige Ronny attends Tess's funeral, two sinister men threaten him to pay her gambling debts. The brass's instructions to stay on duty during Jean's gay marriage with Rudy are almost cheerfully ignored, even by newbie Gert.

Hanging around conspiring criminals in a nightclub, sneaky snitch Ruige Ronny learns about a heist on an armed money transport, but while Tom is in the shower his hot date turns off his cellphone.
