This week, TWICE’s Dahyun and Jeongyeon join as a special guest. Together with the members, they visit Jeju Island to find this week’s endangered ingredient. They get on a boat with Jeju Island’s divers to attain rock oyster, which can only be found in the sea of Chuja Island. Chef Shin Dong Min turn rock oyster and croaker into fine dishes. It’s been restored by ingredient experts five years ago, and now only 160kg remains. The second ingredient is yeonyeopju from Asan. It’s an alcoholic beverage that the kings of the Joseon Dynasty used to enjoy. Stay tuned to find out what kind of dishes can be made from these two ingredients!

Legless wheat is the first endangered ingredient they encounter. It’s near extinct because of all the imported wheat that takes up more than 99% of the market. Daegaengi, which looks like dried Pollack, is the first ingredient they encounter. Next is baweeotmook which has a texture similar to that of seaweed.
