The celebrities are sent on a shopping spree that involves donkeys and reading clues in Spanish. The individual effort nature of the game leads some players to wonder if others are sabotaging by not providing proper information. The celebrities are taken to a school, where they participate in a Night School game that tests them on basic elementary school knowledge. After some correct answers and embarrassing mistakes, one celebrity is given a twisted exemption offer. The celebrities then attempt to identify the noses of other well-known celebrities and then a fifth is sent home.

The executed players return for a game called "Tequila Shooters" in which the celebrities try to deliver wine while being pelted with dodgeballs. Afterwards, a gross food challenge sends most reeling, but one is able to stomach it. Later, the celebrities take part an artistic game that leads to some of the strangest artwork ever. The quiz results in a tie, but the result is still the same: a fourth celebrity is executed and sent home.

The classic game in which the celebrities must pick one of their own to receive an exemption or lose money from the pot is revived with the same result as the previous installment: money is lost from the pot. Tensions flare as players are accused of deliberate sabotage leading to loss of money for the pot. The second execution ceremony has a surprising result.

In another game, one set of celebrities searches tombs at a graveyard while another set gets clues underwater to figure out what tombs to look at it. The result is something a surprise, leading to questions about molish behavior.

One mean game forces the players to answer revealing questions about each other, in the hopes of using information earned this way to find each other and earn money for the pot. In the final game, the players are locked in hotel rooms and try to decipher clues working together in order to escape and earn a large chunk of money to the pot. They fail, leading the two actual players to wonder if it was the mole's work.

The players divide into "arty" and "counting" groups and then participate in games in which they herd sheep or create a piece art designed to fool a critic. The sheep-herding group is given a choice of three dogs, with only one trained to herd sheep. They can earn $20,000 for herding them, and an additional $10,000 for counting them. What they don't know is that they've already been told the number of sheep. The players then are asked to challenging tasks, such as facing knife-throwing and fire-walking. The tasks are on a tiered-structure, with varying results worth exemptions and/or cash. The participating players are blindfolded, while another has to convince them to complete their tasks. This player is the only one who knows the truth about their tasks: that they only think they're doing something potentially dangerous.

With tension growing amongst the remaining contestants, they are asked to put what little faith they have in each other to the test in a challenge that pairs them into "Can't Trust" and "Trust Blindly" groups. Members from both of the groups pair up for a harrowing luge ride that also serves as a test of memory. A rules violation on the part of several contestants leads to a major penalty. Later, Jon Kelley sends the contestants on a spy day complete with luxurious massages. Though pleased at the opportunity to relax, the contestants are weary of an upcoming catch, and rightly so. They find that their clothes have been sent off for dry cleaning and are challenged to find suitable clothes within a short time-frame in order to join host Jon Kelley in time for a fine-dining dinner. Two contestants make a suspicious move by choosing to simply opt out of the challenge. The contestants are presented with an intriguing offer at the evening's execution.

During a cold evening, the players find themselves chained together in a game of trust. Faced with the prospect of spending the night in the cold, the game forces the players to make a choice as to whether or not anyone can be trusted to make a decision that will benefit the group as the whole, rather than merely looking out for their own interests. The players later travel from Uspallata to Mendoza, described as the "Napa Valley of Argentina." Though all are excited by the change in scenery, two players in particular find themselves at each other's throats during the van ride there. The conflict is broken up only when the decision is made by some players to switch vans. At the new destination, the players are tasked with a strongly physical challenge containing a huge twist. One contestant is offered a reward if the others fail and granted a great deal of power to sabotage their chances. The results of this challenge lead to a shift in the game for many, as reputations crumble and new suspicions are formed.
