When a top-secret mission in Somalia goes awry, only Nora and Gallo return to the states; it's discovered that their missing teammate Jimmy is being held captive by terrorists; Nora and Gallo are determined to rescue him.

Nora and Gallo, with the secret still hanging over them, seek further information on the escaped prisoner from Somalia and perform a demo mission for Ian’s mother, who is a public figure with great power. Meanwhile, Jess struggles to work through her feelings.

Nora starts relying more and more on vices to help calm her nerves, while searching for the truth about what happened in Somalia. Meanwhile, Ian and CIA officer Thea work together to figure out the next step in the rescue mission.

While the Shadow Raiders prepare for the next step in their mission, Nora struggles to get her demons under control. CIA Officer Thea becomes increasingly more involved with the mission, creating even more tension in the group.
