In an effort to promote this new partnership, Terracycle and the brand will be supporting a local race event, Run-a-palooza. Tom is eager to start a paint-recycling program. Rick and Ernie work on the recycling science, while Dan sets up a pilot program with a local hardware store. Tom enlists Dean to facilitate a staff graffiti contest at the 10th annual Graffiti Jam.

After previous failed efforts to recycle gum, Tom tasks Andrew with developing a new plan. The Science and Graphics teams do everything they can to make it work. Meanwhile, in the lead up to his birthday, Dan asks Dennis for help getting in shape.
