At first bored, they are delighted when their bus makes a stop at Terror Tower. But the fun turns to fright when the kids see the wax statues in the Tower's torture chamber moving as if they are real... and ghostly images start calling out warnings to them. Suddenly, Sue and Eddie are running for their lives as they travel back in time to the Middle Ages to escape the dark fate of Terror Tower.

While inside, the exterminator started looking for the queen's next. He found the queen and squashed it, then gave Dave an idea for a science project. After ordering an ant home, Dave feeds them. Though, when Ben says they aren't getting enough food, they start feeding them hot dogs and more pellets than the ants are supposed to get. However, now the ants are growing larger and larger...

While staying with his weird great-aunt Kathryn, Evan visits a funky old toy store and buys a dusty can of monster blood. It's fun to play with at first. And Evan's dog, Trigger, likes it so much, he eats some! But then Evan notices something weird about the green, slimy stuff-it seems to be growing. And growing. And growing. And all that growing has given the monster blood a monstrous appetite...
