The couple's dream of turning one of the country's beautiful chateaux into a boutique hotel ends up in tatters, forcing them to look elsewhere.

Exhausted from their search for the perfect hotel property, Ann and David decide to take a break in the spa town of Piestany.

Ann and David visit their new chateau for the first time - but with a great deal of land and several outbuildings included in the deal, they aren't entirely clear on what they've bought or even where it all is.

Renovation work begins on David and Ann's chateau, but they soon get caught up in red tape. The listed building attracts the attentions of the Ministry of Culture, who look as if they are going to put a spanner in the works.

The hoteliers take in a classic car rally also attended by the president of Slovakia in the hope of drumming up some guests.

The roof comes off the chateau so six new rooms can be built in the attic - but despite the site's ruined appearance, the couple are convinced it will be ready for opening in four weeks' time.

Ann travels to London to start a marketing campaign for the hotel, despite the fact that it doesn't yet have a roof.
