"I think both of us kind of thought this could be a ‘friends with benefits’ thing. Then because we built up a friendship together it went away from that and straight to mates. We joke around saying ‘if we don’t pull tonight we’ll go with each other’ but I don’t think we really would. It’s so complicated isn’t it? This is what Magaluf is like. It’s crazy!” Imogen, Holiday Rep The Magaluf Weekender is a unique new six-part documentary series following goings-on at the infamous holiday resort of Magaluf in Mallorca. Each week we will follow two different groups of 18-24 year-olds as they head out to the resort to party away a long weekend of their lives. First to check into the hotel this week, are three small town lads from Kings Lynn in Norfolk. Best mates Harry and Tom, both 19, have come away with Tom's younger cousin Sean, 18 and all three single boys are on the look-out for love. Harry and Tom admit they aren't good with women but Sean is more confident and hopes that the other lads will follow his lead and conquer their self-esteem issues this weekend. Sharing the room next door are gorgeous identical twins; Pearl and Ruby from Bow, East London. The girls are an instant hit with the one of the reps, ladies man Jordan. “I don’t know what to say”, says Jordan, “You know that’s every boys fantasy? Two, fit twins!” After meeting them at the pool, hapless Harry and Tom immediately fall hook, line and sinker for the girls too. They then make a plan for the evening. Sean says, “Best thing to do is to go clubbing tonight with them. First club, if not one of us ‘tashes on to them we’ll just ditch them and go onto the next club.

“We propose to bring a bit of class to Magaluf. So we’re not going to bring one girl back to the apartment cos that’s not classy. We’ll just have like a topless party in the apartment. That’s better.” Gianni, holiday-maker First to check into the hotel Lively this week are three childhood friends from North London - Josh, Danny and Gianni. Joining them for a weekend in the sunshine are best friends and budding beauticians, 18-year-olds Hannah and Christie from Worthing. The girls have never ventured abroad before without their parents and are determined to enjoy their independence. As the girls get ready for a night on the town, Christie admits she can’t resist getting bronzed up: “I would say I’m a tanoholic. I’m obsessed with spray tan. I’ve got my own spray tan booth at home because my Dad bought it for me for Christmas.” Not to be outdone by the girls grooming, Gianni sprays his eyebrows with hairspray before heading out on the pull.
