Harry Knowles has worn the dual crowns of movie and geek culture expert since the launch of his website, Ain't It Cool News, in 1996. Now he brings his knowledge of all things cool from his basement to your computer screen. This week Harry shows us memorabilia from 1933's King Kong and tells you where to get movie props of your own. He's got the dish on the new Ninja Turtles movie and Prometheus too.

This week on Ain't It Cool, Harry Knowles proves that comics and films have been intertwined since the days of John Wayne's westerns. And just like today, some of the results are... questionable. (John Wayne as Genghis Khan, anyone?) Harry's Telepuppetor Device (patent pending) transports his puppet self to Los Angeles for the premiere of Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope. On the carpet the dashing (and hairy) puppet Harry interviews director Morgan Spurlock, producer Stan Lee, comic-con expert Kevin Pereira, nerdist Chris Hardwick and stars Skip Harvey, James Darling and Se Young Darling.

Writer and critic Christopher Cargill stops by to discuss his latest endeavor, a movie he wrote starring Ethan Hawke, and then discusses children-in-peril films with Harry.
