Episode 1
S1 Ep1
A Labrador retriever is brought to a third veterinarian, Doctor Bianucci, to determine the cause of her excessive panting. Doctor Malark tries to determine if a miniature horse with colic needs to have surgery or has to be put down. An aggressive pitbull is biopsied by Doctor Mayers for an overgrowth in his mouth, which may be diagnosed a cancerous tumor.

A retriever is taken in to see Doctor Bianucci for an emergency surgery after being hit by a car. Doctor Mayers tries to determine the cause of a soft-coated wheaten terrier’s rapid weight loss, which leads to another discovery.

Doctor Biaunucci examines a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen with alarming symptoms that could be fatal. Surgery is imperative, but the owner fears her dog may have to be euthanized. Doctor Berger uses acupuncture to alleviate a Pekingese’s severe back pain and weak hind legs.

Doctor Bianucci must determine and treat the cause of a bulldog’s breathing difficulties before she overheats and dies. Doctor Berger examines an emu that is brought in for possible neurological problems that could be fatal.

An ultrasound, performed by Doctor Saenger, shows that a dachshund with congestive heart failure may have a poor prognosis. A rescue dog with a rare genetic condition is going in for her fifth surgery with Doctor Bianucci to relieve pain in her paws.

An owner brings in her basset mix for severe back pain. Doctor Brofman has to figure out if surgery will help or if the condition is untreatable. Doctor Berger examines an African Pygmy Hedgehog for a respiratory infection, but it may be too late to save him.

A King Charles Cavalier is brought in for a follow-up for mitral valve disease. Will ultrasound results reveal that her condition has taken a turn for the worse? A coatimundi is taken to the vet after being rescued.

Doctor Berger visits an Argentine Polo Pony with debilitating joint pain in hopes that acupuncture will allow the owner to avoid putting her horse down, but the horse’s condition might be too severe. A Chihuahua-pug mix with diabetes is taken to Doctor Bianucci for surgery after a leg injury, but the surgery might be too risky for the little dog’s weakened physical state.

An 11-year-old Dalmatian is unable to open her jaw without experiencing pain. Is a cancerous tumor the cause of her discomfort? A 9-year-old French bulldog has been struggling to walk for months.

A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel goes in for brain surgery, after his owner discovers a rare condition that may cost him his life. A Jack Russell Terrier, with a variety of health problems, is taken to Bees Ferry for an ultrasound to determine what is causing her liver enzymes to be so high.

Doctor Ludwig performs surgery on a Labrador retriever with a mass in his neck. The biopsy results will either reveal that the mass is cancer, a treatable infection, or a foreign object. Doctor Burger visits a farm to examine a Nigerian dwarf goat with a bloated abdomen that could signify pregnancy or heart disease.
