It is a freezing day in the park. Soon the snow does begin to fall, and fall very heavily. The weather reports warn of heavy snowfall and strong winds, advising everyone to have their hot water bottles to hand.

Percy is very busy with all his work around the park, and does not have time to play with the animals, who are bored and looking for someone to have fun with.

Percy is having a day off and is busy making sandwiches for a picnic. The rabbits are frolicking in the park and the youngest is being a bit too reckless. She tumbles down the hill and lands on Percy's doorstep. He tells her that he is having a picnic and then warns her to "Look before you leap". She bounds off, barely heeding his words, more excited about telling the other animals that there is a picnic!
After the Storm

It is a bright Autumn day and all the animals are playing in the fallen leaves which Percy has been trying to sweep up!!! He tries to get them to tidy them up again, but they make even more mess. Eventually, though, they finish, but it begins to rain. Everyone says goodnight and hurries to their tree, except for Squirrel, who has moved out due to the noise Owl has been making.
