While Roberto and Mauro investigate the case of an artist who disfigured two young people with a solvent used in painting, Giulia interrogates Lieutenant Riva, suspected of complicity in covering up the disappearance of Captain Rea. The carabiniere firmly denies his involvement and the commissioner decides to have Luca and Anna follow him. Roberto and Mauro will be able to reconstruct the delirious plan for revenge of Rinaldi, the painter whose wife lost an eye due to a beer can thrown from an overpass while their car was in transit. With Giulia's help, they will save Daria, the last girl suspected of the act by Rinaldi, who will be arrested. Meanwhile, Luca and Anna continue their search for Captain Rea. Rea shows up with Giulia, making an appointment at the amusement park. It's the moment of truth, to reveal what's really happening. The entire 10th Tuscolano is ready for the final showdown.

In the meantime, Ugo improvises as a computer expert, making Parmesan despair. Roberto and Angela are worried about little Maura who is ill. Those who are plotting to kill Scalise have an unexpected stroke of luck. Saro, increasingly under pressure from Vito Tonnara, begins to prepare the ambush... Mauro and Roberto, called to investigate a scam, discover with surprise that the robbed person is their elementary school teacher. Once the case is solved, they recall their school years with her and the teacher reveals funny details about them. Meanwhile, Manrico and Valeria are busy with a case involving a psychiatrist and one of his patients in the throes of a fit of rage.

The wife of the informer who accused Scalise of corruption asks them for help because her protection program has been revoked.

After a bank robbery, the robbers see Tiberio, Inspector Belli's father, and one of the criminals convinces his accomplices not to kill him. Tiberio tells his son that he recognized an ex-friend of his. Belli will try to convince him to turn himself in. The police officers of the police district find themselves having to protect Natassia, a Yugoslavian girl, whose daughter has been kidnapped by two Albanians to force the woman into prostitution.

The 10th Tuscolano is dealing with a case involving the Chinese community of the capital and requiring environmental wiretaps and long shadowing involving all of Scalise's men. It seems that the owner of a Chinese restaurant has been kidnapped. On this occasion, Manrico and Mauro use technical means to continue their investigations on Saro, putting his girlfriend, Laura, under surveillance. Luca is preparing his resignation letter. However, the advanced pregnancy and the doctor's recommendations force Giovanna to follow the case from the police station, under the watchful eye of Manrico, who is very apprehensive. The Chinese case turns out to be much more complex than expected, it is a real internal war between two mafia families with mysterious and disturbing implications. Meanwhile Luca and Valeria are dealing with a scam by a skilled door-to-door salesman, while their colleagues think of a farewell gift for Luca.

A gang of robbers attacks a post office on the outskirts of Rome. Two of them manage to escape, but the third accomplice is followed to track down the other members of the gang. The suicide attempt of an electronics warehouse manager, who got into debt through gambling, sheds light on a widespread loan sharking ring.

Sabina's boyfriend confesses to Giulia Corsi that he bought the pills in a nightclub. The commissioner, to find out who put his sister's life at risk, has some officers pretend to be drug dealers.

Leo and his men finally have Corallo's false name, Franco Isoardi, from which they manage to trace the small hotel where Corallo stayed for a night before disappearing again into thin air. Leo and Pietro go there to question the owner of the hotel, who, in front of the photo of the fugitive, confirms that it is him, Franco Isoardi. But he doesn't have much else to add. Corallo paid in cash and didn't mention where he was headed. But in the lobby there is an internet station that the hotel makes available to guests and our men decide to check its history. Among the pages consulted during Corallo's stay there is one that reports the timetables of buses headed to the province of Rieti. That Corallo decided to spend his time on the run there seems unlikely but Leo decides to check anyway.

The hunt is on again. Leo and Gallo surround the woods where Corallo is hiding and organize the patrol batteries. With them is Brenta who, as a good Bergamasco, is perfectly at ease among the woods and slopes. Not only that, but he immediately dispenses a series of practical advice for tackling the mission, to the point that Leo decides to leave him permanently with the contingent of the Mobile. Led by Brenta, the contingents of the Mobile and the X Tuscolano continue to hunt Corallo. Barbara and Pietro are exhausted, they feel like they are going round in circles, but Brenta reassures them: little by little they are pushing Corallo towards the edge of the woods, and sooner or later the man will be forced to make a misstep. And to prove his point he shows them a tree, whose branches appear to have been recently cut.

The men of the Mobile and the X Tuscolano have surrounded the entire wooded area and are closing in on Corallo, who understands that he must move quickly if he doesn't want to be crushed. With him is Gualtieri, the hunter to whom he fed his dog. Corallo decides that the only way to escape the roadblocks is to use him as bait. He therefore orders him to call his wife on her cell phone so that she can join him in the car with his brother-in-law, pretending to be out on a Sunday outing. After his daring escape from the woods, Corallo has managed to disappear. The X Tuscolano is in close contact with Interpol, but the news that is arriving is not comforting. The ferry on which they thought the fugitive had boarded, in fact, has been searched from top to bottom, but in vain. The question now is whether Corallo managed to disembark by eluding the controls, or whether he never boarded that ferry. In short, whether he has put into action yet another bluff.

After speaking with Liverani, Leo is increasingly convinced that Corallo has remained in Rome. Yes, but where is he hiding? Since they raided the sports club, it is clear that the man no longer has any support in the capital. And he probably wouldn't even look for it, Leo reflects. Corallo is basically like Liverani: a lone wolf, someone who doesn't trust, who prefers to remain invisible. And who are the truly invisible people in the city? Corallo's plan is ready to enter its final phase. After putting on his diving suit, the man dives into the dock and recovers the suitcase full of cash that he had hidden in the bulb of the boat. Then he contacts Mara again: he must convince Valentina to return to his side to take the money. Mara doesn't understand: she is sure that if he tells Valentina, she will immediately tell Leo. But, at least on the surface, that is exactly what Corallo wants: to use Valentina as bait to lure Leo into a trap.

He claims to have been unfairly tried after being accused of stealing 370 million from the safe of the company where he worked. While out for a walk, Commissioner Giovanna Scalise and her daughter witness the murder of a man, which appears to be a mafia execution.

A twenty-three-year-old student is raped by Fabrizio Viberti, her political philosophy professor. The police cannot find convincing evidence. Two young people who, after buying a villa, later realize they have been scammed, ask the Police District for help.

The statements of a mafioso accuse Commissioner Giovanna Scalise, but the agents of the tenth Tuscolano are convinced that the mafia wants to take revenge on her by trying to discredit her and they try to demonstrate the innocence of the commissioner. After some shadowing, Parmesan and the other agents discover that the lawyer Loiacono, instead of meeting the men of the gang directly, uses an intermediary to receive orders from the mafia.

A friend of Paula's gives birth in the hospital, but later dies because she is not properly assisted. The police investigate without results. Paula continues to investigate secretly and thanks to a testimony she will be able to discover the truth. Linda has an affair with a married man. The lover, instead of leaving his wife, decides to kill Linda and has the gardener of the building accused. A witness informs the police via email so as not to reveal his identity.
