The Correctional Services Officer WONG YUE YAN is suspected to have taken bribes and ICAC investigator SUNNY is carrying out investigation on the pretty newsstand owner HO MEI YAN. YAN is the lover of a triad society member CHEUNG CHUN HUNG but HUNG suddenly disappeared a few years ago. Later, YAN learns from other triad society members that HUNG is imprisoned and they ask her to visit him. On the other hand, YUE has been accepting bribes from the prisoners to assist them in committing trafficking. YUE is fond of YAN and he even helps her to deliver her naked photos to the prison. WAH invites the famous Barrister NORA CHENG to defend for him and CHENG has been taking the lead in the trial… ICAC had carried out investigation on WAH many years ago. During the time, WAH teaches a mainland trader SO LAI MAN to give fake evidence in court so that she could be released. WAH’s tricks were being discovered but he had successfully escaped from the prosecution. ICAC discovers that the bank has been offering unreasonably large amount of loans to WAH’s subsidiaries. The Railway Corporation asks ICAC to carry out investigation on their Freight Section because they suspect that their staffs are illegally utilizing the empty railway compartment for smuggling. The freight transportation system will be computerized in one month’s time and all evidence will be destroyed by then. ICAC investigators therefore try to infiltrate into the Freight Section to carry out investigation and the main suspect is the Manager LEUNG CHI KIN. KIN appears to be a good boss and he is having a good relationship with his wife LI YUE KUEN. KIN is eventually arrested and KUEN also discovers that he has been committing adultery. Serious piling problem is found in two of the blocks of a newly established housing estate. ICAC carries out investigation on Housing Department and their contractor CHAN LIK TO. Investigator IRENE discovers that the chief engineers LEUNG TIK WAI and LAI CHI KIT are involved in the case. In order to avoid the building from collapsing, the Housing Department decides to spend huge sum of money to rebuild two blocks. The Department also plans to announce the news to the public to protect their interest. ICAC believes that all evidence will be destroyed after the announcement so they urge the Housing Department postpones the public announcement for a week…
