A year after the mysterious disappearance of a family member, the Morgan family return to Malta for the summer, hoping to move on. However, the reunion raises suspicions about Charlie, Annabelle's husband, as he arrives with his new girlfriend Jade, who bears an uncanny resemblance to his missing wife. Three women decide to search for answers, uncovering family secrets along the way.

A frazzled Beth escapes from Charlie's apartment and tells Natasha and Sylvie about the bag she found, Sean learns that his brothers have business troubles. At Beth's behest, the wives follow Jade into town and see Charlie exchanging the bag for a manilla envelope. Plus, the family hold an emotional memorial for Annabelle.

When the brothers return to England to help Charlie access Annabelle's estate, the wives start investigating their sister-in-law's death. Luca breaks into Natasha's apartment, finds proof of her financial instability and starts tracking her phone. Plus, Vinay warns the women, in no uncertain terms, not to pursue their investigation.

While Beth gets immersed in planning for Sylvie's birthday party, Natasha and Sylvie go to the tennis club to check their husbands' alibis for the night Annabelle disappeared, enlisting Jade to help them sneak into the security room to access the CCTV. Natasha decides to take Luca up on his offer to hide a bag in return for payment, and discovers that the bag is brimming with casino chips.

As the family searches for Sky, the wives unveil the real identity of 'OceanMagic22'.

Desperate to avoid arrest, Charlie heads to the port. Beth makes her way there, closely followed by the police.
