The villagers, concerned that Richard Naismith is bringing people into Century Falls, decide to call a gathering in the Church Hall. Tess, Ben and Carey hide inside, and watch on as the psychic ritual begins. The villager’s minds merge into one, and this powerful new consciousness confirms that Elisabeth is indeed pregnant.

Tess goes to the shop, and demands “Two Mars Bars, one first class stamp, and one explanation – fast”. She tells the sisters that if they can convince her of the danger to her mother’s unborn child, then perhaps she can convince her mother to leave. Esme takes Tess to the waterfall, and tells her what happened in the Temple those many years ago.

The villagers march to the temple ruins to reincarnate Century. When they arrive, Julia asks Ben to reshape the past, and concentrating hard Ben manages to rebuild the temple.
