This episode of "Noos - The Adventure of Knowledge" focuses on a major medical breakthrough that is increasing the life expectancy of many children: CAR-T therapy, a new treatment that is defeating neuroblastoma, one of the most common childhood cancers. Alberto Angela discusses this with Professor Franco Locatelli, director of the Center for Oncohematological Studies at the Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome, who spearheaded the development of this therapy in Italy and is a pioneer in neuroblastoma research. Alberto Angela goes to Pompei to discover a construction site from two thousand years ago, which was buried under the ash of the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. and recently brought to light by the excavations of the archaeological park in Regio IX.
