Sheikh Yusef is a young preacher who has a religious TV show, and because of his strict beliefs, he gets angry when his sister brings him a cake on his birthday, considering that celebrating birthdays is heresy, while his other sister is learning to play the violin without his knowledge.
When a conservative Islamic preacher meets a beautiful violin player, they get close to each other and mutual romantic feelings build. As he comes to believe in the value of art and its influence on society, he finds himself torn between his love and his conservative beliefs.
