S1 Ep1
2nd Aug 2015
Julian and the team are in Walsall where they visit Joan Lockley who runs her very own ‘Hedgehog Hosprickal’. They are able to track the progress of one of Jo’s precious patients after he is released back into the wild and she is left feeling overwhelmed with emotion at the prospect of tracking her hedgehog’s movements. They then pay a visit to Lichfield to meet Kate MacRae who captures the activity of our feathered friends, with numerous cameras placed around her garden and inside her bird boxes, which she streams onto the Internet. After making his way to Stowe Maries, Julian talks to Russell Savoury and turns his attention to the water vole, a creature that is quickly disappearing due to reintroduced mink and loss of habitat.
