After attracting the interest of a mysterious professor as the result of her first exam, Alex receives an invitation to join a unique group of students.

When members of the group realize Alex is the demon's target, they take turns keeping watch over her. But they forget she's not the only one in danger.

As the giant Winter Spas roams around Cracow and leaves frozen bodies in his wake, Alex visits her grandmother in hopes of learning more about her past.

Following Hvor's orders, Winter Spas spreads madness, disease and death throughout the streets of Cracow, creating chaos at the university's hospital.

To reconnect with her mother, Alex tries to induce a lucid dream. But she soon learns that the answers she seeks aren't in her fantasy.

Alex returns from the underworld, bringing a protective deity with her. Hvor uses the professor's sick son to turn him against the group.

After the tragic events at the Barbican, Alex and the members of the group resolve to perform an old Slavic ritual to stop Hvor once and for all.
