SZE YUNG knows that CHEK NAM has a girlfriend. She asks CHEK NAM to bring MAN FUNG back home for dinner. However she does not show up and CHEK NAM is made very angry. HEUNG SHING is very clever and tactful. His strong character is well appreciated by CHONGS SIR who desires to recruit him as one of the spys of his team. HEUNG SHING thinks this is a good chance for better prospects so he accepts the offer. In order to disguise his identity, HEUNG SHING keeps on breaking the rules of the Cadet School and this results in his being expelled from the school. Everybody is astonished at this matter. SZE YUNG wants to meet MAN FUNG very much but has had no chance yet. She therefore urges CHEK NAM to make out a plan in order to put them together. As a result, she finds MAN FUNG very gentle and polite so she urges CHEK NAM to marry her soonest. YAT YIN comes back to Hong Kong and is busy with the decoration of her new home……

To supervise LEUNG KWAN, TAI MUI applies for transfer to work in the urban area and is subsequently approved. However, he feels a bit upset about leaving the position in which he has worked for twenty years. CHAN PONG sends his follower LIU HAN KOU to sell the stolen jewellery. He is so greedy that he secretly gives one of the necklaces to his girlfriend JUDY. After several transactions the police are alerted and this arouses CHEK NAM’s attention also. CHAN PONG and HOK TAK fear that HAN KOU AND JUDY will disclose the details of the robbery. Thus, they kill them and make it like an accident. Although CHEK NAM suspects it is done by CHAN PONG, he doesn’t have sufficient evidences. MAN FUNG and CHEUNG LI her partner of the KARAOKE are good friends. However, CHEUNG LI’s lover CHAN PONG always takes illegal guys to disturb the night club. In addition, CHAN PONG treats CHEUNG LI badly because he is the real financial supporter……

CHEK ‧NAM meet YAT YIN again in a country club and they have a most agreeable chat. They both have very good impression towards each other. CHUN CHUN always behaves in an opposite way to HOK TAK every time when HOK TAK has visitors. She wants to ruin HOK TAK's reputation and this makes HOK TAK very angry. CHUN CHUN's parent were killed in a fighting of illegal ganga many years ago. She was badly shocked. Later when she discovered that HOK TAX was related in the murder, she hates HOK Tal very much and gives herself up in order to take revenge to the others. CHUN CHUN and YAT YIN are good old friends. However they are separated for so many years and also there are great changes in the behaviour of CHUN CHUN. The relationship of this couple can hardly recover as before. CHONG SIR sends some guys to ambush for HAN SING and to pretend to threaten him to disclose CHONG SIR's secret……

TAI MUI is transferred to work at CHEK NAM's station. Since he is not familiar with the environment, mistakes always happen. This even brings troubles to his colleagues. It looks as if he is rather useless and this causes changes for psychologically. HEUNG SHING is appointed to go to CHAN PONG's snooker centre to investigate the smuggling evidences. SIU HENG has good impression towards TAI MUI and usually takes care of him. She even performs as TAI MUI's wife in front of the colleagues. TAI MOI feels embarrassed because the colleagues always tease him. Thus he determines to live at HENG SENG’s home. After several meetings, CHEK NAM and YAT TIN can now have agreeable chats. Whilst SZE CHING passes by boutique, he sees LEUNG KWAN decorating the window. They talk about designs of display but they have different points of view. Deep impression is left on both sides. CHEK NAM persuades HENG SHING to leave CHAN BONG. However HEUNG SHING behaves desperately because he doesn't want to arouse queries from CHEK NAM. He even turns the cold shoulder to CHEK NAM. Being HENG SHING’s opponent, CHEK NAM feels very sad. CHEK NAM misses MAN FUNG very much whilst in the hospital. Ha calls up his courage to ask HAN FUNG to marry him. But MAN FUNG refuses because of her self-abasement. CHEK NAM is very disappointed and depressed. SZE YUNG thinks there is quarrels between CHEK NAM and HAN FUNG. She tries to settle it but fails. Contrarily, this makes MAN FUNG refuse to meet CHEK NAM and their emotion cools down. SZE CHING is in love with LEUNG KWAN, treating her as the most desirable courting target……

YAT YIN introduces CHUN CHUN to work as an apprentice at a saloon but CHUN CHUN cannot tolerate the clients. She intendedly threatens the clients away and finally she lost her job. YAT YIN has to apologise for her. WAH KONG arranges CHUN CHUN to work at The Wah’s .Jewellery Shop. CHUN CHUN is glad to be arranged for an important position and works hard. This changes her family's view. CHUN CHUN meets a lustful client who always annoys her. So CHUN CHUN plays jokes upon him which makes him rather disgraceful in the public. HOK HIM thinks YAT YIN attains the initial success on her work so he starts courting her. However YAT YIN doesn’t know HOK HIM's emotion. She just treats him as her brother. YAT YIN and HOK HIM attend a party. There happens to be a robbery in the hotel's room. CHEK NAM is appointed to investigate there. CHEK NAM meets the culprit at the party……

It is the first time that SZE CHING falls in love. He calls forth all his courage to date LEUNG KWAN. Fortunately LEUNG KWAN appreciates very much SZE CHING’s fine qualities and personality. She is glad to be good friends with him as they have agreeable chats but she is not sure about the real emotion of SZE CHING. TAI MUI misses her parents very much, especially at Mid-Autumn Festival. She feels rather lonely as LEUNG KWAN seldom stays at home. CHEK NAM is feeling quite out of enthusiasm. When he first enjoys a dinner with YAT YIN, they both have good feelings towards the other because of their common interests. CHEK NAM gets the courage again. Unfortunately owing to heavy workload, they can hardly meet with each other. SZE CHING thinks LEUNG KWAN likes classical music so he tries his best to buy the concert tickets to please her. But actually LEUNG KWAN doesn't like it so SZE CHING sells the tickets to CHEK NAM……

TAI MUI discovers a little girl wandering in the street. After questioning, he is still unable to find out her family's background. Thus he takes her back to the police station and awaits for her family's reporting to the police. CHEK NAM doesn't want to hold the girl at the police station. He asks TAI MUI to take her home. Whilst TAI MUI is busy with the girl, SIU LING gives him a hand. Gradually TAI MUL can feel SIU LING's good qualities of being gentle and eager to help the others. He has a good impression towards SIU LING. LEUNG KWAN's foot is wounded. SZE CHING helps her to return home. However TAI MUI thinks SZE CHING takes the chance to seek benefits. Without saying a word, he gives SZE CHING a good lesson. SZE CHING feels very mysterious and abstruse. TAI MUI always thinks of SIU LING. He tries to express his feelings via a programme of the radio station……

LEUNG KWAN tells SZE CHING that TAI MUI mistakenly thinks they are falling in love with each other. She smiles and forgets it. SZE CHING is very disappointed at this but expresses his love to LEUNG KWAN owing to an impulse. LEUNG KWAN is very surprised but impressed. Consequently she accepts SZE CHING. YAT YIN is carelessly hurted whilst cooking. CHEK NAM shows his very keen consideration during YAT YIN's refreshment period. Their emotion is greatly improved. Besides YAT YIN introduces WAH KONG to CHEK NAM. MAN FUNG is very upset to see CHEK NAM and YAT YIN are getting very close in the street. CHEUNG LI asks her to rescue the emotion with CHEK NAM whilst the relationship between CHEK NAM and YAT YIN is not firmly established yet. MAN FUNG is in a dilemma. HEUNG SHING get known CHAN PONG is going to have a big illegal transaction……

CHAN PONG knows the transaction is disclosed. He asks his fellows to abandon the plan. When CHEK NAM reaches the transaction venue, he gets known of MAN FUNG's being hurted. He goes to visit MAN FUNG immediately. He is enraged when he sees MAN FUNG is seriously injured. CHEK NAM thinks it is HEUNG SHING who orders his fellows to violate MAN FUNG. He finds HEUNG SHING to burst out his anger. HEUNG SHING doesn't know what is happening but he makes use of the chance to provoke CHEK NAM. HEUNG SHING meets CHUN CHUN unexpectedly at the snooker centre. They both feel proud of their cleverness and play tricks on the others. They become a pair of funny couple. CHEK NAM wants to help MAN FUNG to take revenge. He takes her back to the same location and to repeat the whole procedure in order to search for hints. This intensifies MAN FUNG's bitter sufferings. Whilst MAN FUNG feels helpless, she becomes more reluctant to leave CHEK NAM……

CHEK NAM feels regretful towards MAN FUNG. He tries to arrange more time to accompany and comfort MAN FUNG. Though YAT YIN is aware of this and feels very unhappy, she doesn't say a word. HOK TAK is unwilling to be always restricted by HOK TAK. Whilst HOK HIN is on a business trip, HOK TAK reorganises the jewellery shop and the result is very satisfactory. When HOK HIN returns to Hong Kong, he is reluctant for his authority being taken away. He is awaiting for an opportunity to get back his power. The colleagues knows TAI MUI is in love with SIU LING. They make chance for them to move closer. However SIU LING has no special feelings towards TAI MUI and this makes him very disappointed. SIU LING's cousin AH KEN, comes back from the states. He has good impression towards SIU LING and asks her to immigrate to the states with him. TAI MUI is upset when he gets the news. The colleagues are reluctant to see TAI MUI's losing his lover……

At the time SIU LING leaves Hong Kong, she is very frustrated as she finds herself in love with TAI MUI. Unfortunately TAI MUI is reluctant to give up his great masculine character to beg SIU LING to remain in Hong Kong. This disappoints SIU LING. Whilst the colleagues are seeing SIU LING off at the airport, TAI MUI gives her a present. SIU LING understands his emotions so she changes her mind and promises to marry TAI MUI. MAN FUNG is unwilling to be involved between YAT YIN and CHEK NAM. She and YAT YIN try to test CHEK NAM. CHEK NAM chooses YAT YIN which pushes MAN FUNG to withdraw. She leaves Hong Kong quietly so as to fulfill CHEK NAM and YAT YIN. SZE CHING is jealous as he sees TAI MUI and SIU LING preparing their wedding. This makes him think about the emotion with LEUNG KWAN. He gets the opportunity to ask LEUNG KWAN to marry her. LEUNG KWAN accepts……

LAW SIR receives news from HEUNG SHING about the illegal transaction between CHAN PONG and a Thai gang. He orders CHEK NAM to prepare a strategy. They successfully arrest the two illegal gangs but CHAN PONG has escaped. HEUNG SHING wants to leave the venue but he is rescued by CHAN PONG. With no other alternatives, HEUNG SHING protects CHAN PONG to escape. On the way HEUNG SHING disguises as if he has fallen from the car and urges CHAN PONG to leave first. Consequently CHAN PONG is arrested by CHEK NAM. HEUNG SHING deceives his spy identity successfully. CHEK NAM compels CHAN PONG to tell the truth concerning the transaction. He also plans to exclude CHAN PONG from the manipulation. To be safe, CHAN PONG becomes the spot witness to point out all quilty acts of HOK TAK. CHEK NAM immediately attains a warrant to arrest HOK TAK. WAH KONG is surprised when he gets known of HOK TAK's being involved in a criminal case……

YAT YIN collects evidences which are beneficial to HOK TAK. She pushes all the quilts on to CHAN PONG. CHAN PONG is reluctant to' be disgraced so he discloses HOK TAK is the manipulator of the jewellery robbery in the court. Everybody there are astonished. WAH KONG is shocked when he knows HOK TAK is involved in illegal activities again. Early in the Fifties, WAH KONG is the head of an illegal gang. Until his wife and his brother's couple were killed, he really get to understand the proverb "either good or bad act will be rewarded". Afterwards, he withdraws from the crowd. For the sake of the next generation, WAH KONG engages in the jewellery business which can be succeeded by his two sons. Unfortunately HOK TAK repeats his track which makes WAH KONG extremely unhappy. CHEK NAM is mad at knowing YAT YIN tries her very best to defend for HOK TAK. He complains YAT YIN distorts the truth and justice……

HOK TAK doesn't want to be put in prison. He disguises to be sick. Whilst on the way to the hospital, he escapes and hides at the jewellery shop. Unintentionally he gets known of how HOK HIN has brought him into all these troubles. To burst out his anger, he menaces HOK HIN and argues with him. HOK HIN calls the police secretly whilst confronting with HOK TAK. CHEK NAM leads his subordinates to arrive at the company. Under such confusing circumstance HOK TAK is killed. Meanwhile the police receives an anonymous phone call revealing the trace of HOK TAK. They suspects another illegal gang is going to take revenge on HOK TAK and WAH KONG is stepping into the crowd again. Owing to this CHONG SIR sends HEUNG SHING to visit the WAH's family so as to investigate the background of WAR KONG. HEUNG SHING tries to approach WAH KONG during his recovery in the hospital. They have an agreeable chat which facilitates their friendship development……

After separation form CHEK NAM, YAT YIN concentrates on her huge workload in order to forget CHEK NAM. HOK HIN gets this opportunity to court YAT YIN who feels fine and warm. KWOK WAH's sister has a fatal disease which requires a large sum of money for surgery. With no alternatives, KWOK WAR steals the pilfered properties. When CHEK NAM discovers, he forgives KWOK WAH as if he returns all the properties. However KWOK WAH is eager to be sentenced so that his sister can have the opportunity to go abroad for cure. CHUN CHUN compels HEUNG SHING to go shopping with her. On the way, she meets several teddy boys. Fortunately HEUNG SHING is able to save her in time. CHUN CHUN tends to accept HEUNG SHING because of his sense of justice. They disclose their background to each other. With their similar experiences, they encourage each other and finally become good friends……

CHEK NAM is approved for training in England for half year. He wants to express his feelings to YAT YIN before departure. However HOK HIN gets known of this. He intendedly takes YAT YIN to the place where CHEK NAM prepares to go. Besides he gets very close with YAT YIN. When CHEK NAM sees them, he is very disappointed. Unfortunately the letter is taken away by HOK HIN who tries to separate CHEK NAM and YAT YIN……

WAH KONG trusts HEUNG SHING very much and arranges him to work at the jewellery shop. HEUNG SHING appreciates it because he gets the opportunity to investigate the company. After marriage, SIU LING finds something different on her physical health. LEUNG KWAN accompanies her to seek consultation in order to make sure she is fine. Contrarily LEUNG KWAN discovers herself being pregnant. Her family is very happy. WAH KONG faints out at home. After taking diagnosis, he is fine. He now thinks life is unpredictable. Thus he urges HOK HIN to get married soon so as to fulfill his will. HOK HIN makes use of WAH KONG and proposes marriage to YAT YIN who feels a bit surprised but promises him engagement first. After returning to Hong Kong, CHEK NAM is provoked as he gets known of YAT YIN's marriage. He decides to concentrate on his work only. CHEK NAM is appointed to investigate a series of murders……

He is very regretful for his misunderstanding HEUNG SHING in the past. Thus he swears he must take revenge for HEUNG SHING. CHUN CHUN is full of grief and pain because of her lover's death……

HOK HIN compels CHUN CHUN to surrender the evidences but fails. He therefore kills CHUN CHUN but YAT YIN witnesses the whole procedures. She is very angry and goes away. HOK HIN is in such a hurry to follow YAT YIN that he neglects one of his followers is hiding at the venue. YAT YIN gets HOK HIN's evidences and informs CHEK NAM. Immediately HOK HIN sends a guy to kill YAT YIN. Under CHEK NAM's protection, YAT YIN is able to escape safely. YAT YIN and CHEK NAM experience the danger together which helps to remove their misunderstandings. After explanation, they find it is HOK HIN who has broken their communication. Though they are angry, they fall in love again. The police is searching for HOK HIN. One day TAI MUI and LEUNG KWAN discovers his track and TAI MUI follows him. LEUNG KWAN is killed. Meanwhile, TAI MUI is seriously hurted and fainted. All the colleagues give blood to rescue TAI MUI. WAH KONG fails to bail HOK HIN……

HOK HIN makes use of his great power and ingenious planning to purify his quilts at the court. CHEK NAM feels unfair so he makes out a plan to confront with HOK HIN. By means of different methods, CHEK NAM is finally able to get one of HOK HIN's followers to disclose the truth concerning CHUN CHUN's death. He also arranges YAT YIN to be the witness at the court. However all the evidences are purified by HOK HIN. He is declared as innocent. TAI MUI is sad about LEUNG KWAN'S death. He punches HOK HIN in the street and this induces him to lose his job. YAT YIN decides to move away from the Wah's family. Whilst she is collecting her luggages, she discovers a diskette containing the quilty evidence of HOK HIN. She gives the diskette to CHEK NAM immediately. When SZE CHING knows about it, he tries to induce HOK HIN to be trapped. Will he succeed? Please watch the end.................
