A story revolving around the experiences of men serving in the police and a misfiring incident that becomes the center of conflict. Ten years ago, while Zhang Peng Cheng (Yu Yi) was trying to apprehend a suspect, a bullet was fired in his direction. Xu Lei takes the hit instead and ends up paralyzed for life.
